《An unknown world》Chapter 11: Battle (Part II)

As Daemon and Barry were on their way towards the Sky Kingdom, the other group which is the group of thieves that was being led by the newcomer is also on their way towards where Daemon and Barry are.
Meanwhile, someone else who is hiding in the city has finally come out and search for Daemon and Barry after what had happened at the Sky Castle that time. She had finally finished preparing all the spells and necessary equipment that she needed to fight alongside Barry and Daemon against the gang of thieves.
Everyone (the gang of thieves and the princess) had finally made a move after having seen what had happened during Barry's training to wield magic when everyone within the city saw a huge chunk of the ground suddenly burst into the sky like being shot out of a volcano.
All the citizens were terrified to their bones upon seeing such a bizarre event taking place before their very eyes, except for the princess and the gang of thieves who saw that as an opportunity to make a move as they have now known their exact location because they even sensed something tremendous coming from there that ordinary people cannot sense at all, which is a huge amount of magic powers overflowing from it. They could even sense that those magic powers are coming from two people, that is none other than Barry and Daemon.
When the group of bandits sensed that Barry and Daemon were closing in on their path, they quickly went to hide into the forest and bushes to set a trap.
One of them was a professional sniper who went to hide somewhere deep within the forest to get a place that will not be a hindrance for him to snipe them down. Another one was a skilled mage archer that is a professional in wielding magic and in archery too was hiding somewhere not too far from where the professional sniper is. The other one was a professional mage swordsman. While the other one was a professional shadow mage assassin who is good in both close combat and long range battle. While the other two are professional mages that are skilled in both light magic and warp magic, respectively. And as for the newcomer, he hid somewhere in an unknown place but could see the entire battlefield.

Which makes it altogether 7 of them waiting for their target to arrive at their trap, except for the newcomer who is preserving his powers for now. That makes 6 of them on the battlefield.
As Daemon and Barry were so close on making their way out of the huge, thick pine forest, they stumbled upon a symbol that is shaped like a X.
A thought flashed through Barry's mind: "Wait? If this is a X-shaped symbol, doesn't that mean I'm in a death trap now?".
His thoughts had assured him when he noticed something was there, which is next to his feet. He tried extremely hard to reassure himself that his mind was just hallucinating. But to no avail. His mind didn't help him at all this time as he saw the "thing" with his very own eyes, which is an arrow.
When he suddenly sensed that someone was about to pull a trigger, he somehow managed to escape from near death at the right time when he saw the bullet. He had known from what type of gun that bullet would belong to at a glance. It was indeed from a sniper.
This caused both Daemon and Barry to lean on each other's back as close as possible because they were surrounded by their enemy when Barry used one of his psychic powers that functions as a detector but mixed with a hint of magic power, which allows him to sense each one of their enemy's magic power and their location.
Left with no other choice, they split up and fight 3 vs 1 for each, which means Daemon gets to fight with the professional sniper, mage archer and the mage swordsman that were on the left side of the forest. While Barry gets to fight with the shadow mage assassin and the other 2 professional mages that can use light magic and warp magic respectively that were on the right side of the forest.

When both of them have finally decided who to fight with, there was one more person who Barry's psychic powers didn't detect at all, which was the 7th person, the newcomer of the group of bandits.
The reason Barry didn't manage to sense him at all is because he was hiding somewhere within the deep blue sky with powers that had completely sealed him off from sight while looking at all that is happening on the ground.
But something caught his attention, and there he saw a girl running across the plain grass-fields towards their direction. And that is the princess.

The Hunt
Cecily's blade swung, hitting its mark as always. The man's arm fell to the cold grass of the prison with a familiar thud. He let out a blood curdling scream. A warning to the rest. Stay away, the Hunter is here. That's the name they'd given her, the Hunter. After she cut off the man who tried to rape hers masculinity, they stayed away. She'd made it clear anyone who tried to touch her would be hunted and slaughtered. Cecily kneeled down, pushing the man's face into the dirt so she could use his back as a seat while she trifled through his belongings. "You're hurting my ears," she told him, no remorse in her voice. "Quiet down before I really do kill you."The man but his lip, well aware that she wasn't lying. Sobs shook him, making for an uncomfortable seat. She, however, didn't particularly feel the beed to kill him. It happened, not often, but it did. "Oh, hush up," she hissed, taking out a bag of rations with her metal hand, "it doesn't hurt that bad."With her good, human hand, she dropped the plastic bag of food into her own bag. She pushed up, off the man back. As she was about to walk away, bag slung over her shoulder, brushing against her autumn colored braid, she turned back to him. "Consider yourself lucky," she said, no hatred in her voice, there never was. "Consider yourself lucky that you didn't do anything stupid. And even luckier if one of the scum bagged criminals in here feel a little light in their hearts and help you. Consider yourself luckier if you die there."With that, her old black and white Nike sneakers carried her off into the brush of the huge prison.
