Slade chose this option immediately as he will get to choose how he will play from now on. The mere thought of creating his own moves from his own power made him smirk. The restrictions were obvious as he was not going to get any skills or moves outside his control like fire or win magic but overall it was a better choice for him as he will get to specialize in the powers he just received.

"Wise choice, You have removed one of the restrictions from the system and before you ask I will not tell anything more about the system and what this game really is. There is a mirror over that side go check out your changes and try out your powers for a bit, and give me that ugly mask of yours, when you're done I will give you another one." Shadowless said before continuing absorbing souls.

Deciding to ask later he gave his mask away before heading to the mirror spotting immediate changes. Firstly his black hair was now longer and a few shades darker, occasionally shadow essence could be seen flickering in and out of existence through it. His skin was a lot paler and his eyes specifically his pupils glowed a violet hue. Overall he now looked less human and more mysterious and unnerving. While he was taking an immediate liking to his looks a thought came to him telling put his hand into the mirror. Following his instinct, he felt his spectral and shadow essence combine before his hand slipped right through the mirror, without changing or damaging it.

Separating the essence he found that his spectral powers make his hand shine eerily grey cracking the mirror from inside while his shadow essence makes turns his hand into an incorporeal black form that can separate and surround the mirror before reforming his hand through both sides and smashing the mirror to pieces. What made him excited was that his eyes showed him how it was done with his essence.

Done testing his powers he went back and caught a white black featureless mask with red outlines.

"Take this it has no real powers but it will cover your eye glow and change their color, It will also help muffle your voice and no one will be able to identify you no matter the level distance."
