Blue wakes up to the sound of splashing water coming from the bathroom, he looks over and hears humming coming from beyond the cracked open door, curiosity overwhelms him as he peeks into the room.
He can hardly make out anything through the thick steam in the room but as he focuses harder he starts to make her out, still in the nude, her body is drenched in water from the bath. She’s facing away from him, her butt wiggling in tune to her humming, Blue’s face turns a beat red as he stares at her. Crystal turns around shocking Blue as he jolts back, Crystal’s eyes remain closed unaware of his spying eyes.
He peeks back over and gets an eye full of her breasts jiggling around as she dries them off, Blue falls backwards in shock causing a thud, he scurries back fast as Crystal looks at the door, "whoops I kept is open, I'm sure it doesn't matter", she says to herself. Blue slowly makes his way back to his bed, his face still flushed in a deep red after all he's seen.
Crystal takes her time getting ready, and even with all the time Blue has been given he's still laying in bed dumbfounded at what he saw. She makes her way back into the bedroom and notices Blue still in bed staring at the ceiling, "what's wrong with your face, are you feeling alright? You look sick", she asks Blue.
He looks over to Crystal in a cold sweat, "yeah I'm good, just feels like I've been blindsided by a bombshell", he says in a nervous laugh. “Well if you’re fine then get up, sleeping all day won’t do anything for you”, Crystal says while walking out of the room.
The two stand alone in a large empty field, the warm sun and gentle breeze gives a calming feeling to the space, Crystal gives Blue a serious gaze, “Show me your powers, I want to know what you can do”, she says while staring him intently I'm the face.
Blue takes in a deep breath, the air around him becomes as cold as a mid winter storm. Crystal looks to the sky to notice the clear sky has suddenly become covered in heavy cloud cover before producing a light snowfall as far as she could see. She looks back over to Blue, the chilling air around him has condensed into a dense frost as ice crystals begin to form. He takes in one more deep breath as a large ice spike the size of him forms in front of him before it goes crashing into the ground.
Blue collapses to the ground sweating and completely out of breath, “alright- alright, is that what you wanted to see?”, he exhaustingly asks Crystal. The air around the two quickly warms up as the slowly falling snow turns into a gentle rain.
Crystal looks at blue with an amazed curiosity, “I have to say I’m impressed, I didn’t think a kid like you could do something like that. Now come on, actually fight me, you’re going to be useless to Neon if you can’t defend yourself”, Crystal says while getting in a fighting stance.
“Don’t you think it was just a little harsh ma’am?” Ruby asks Neon, her words rattle down the empty hallways of the manor as the two lock eyes. “I did what I had to Ruby, I can’t be taking in just any random children from the streets'', Neon replies, the confidence in her voice unwavering.

Neon stands up from her chair and makes her way to the large multi panel decorative window in the back of the room, "Tell me Ruby, when does it snow?" she asks Ruby. "Usually not for another four months ma'am", Ruby quickly replies. With a swift whirl Neon turns around to face Ruby, "yes I realize that Ruby, I want to know who is doing this.
From whom I know only two people can do this, but they would never mess around like this for no reason", Neon says while walking out of her office. She slowly makes her way to the entrance of the manor, and reaches her hand out from the door as the gentle snowfall lands upon it. Her gaze shifts to the icy source in the distance.
Holly sits in the alley in the pouring rain left over from the showcase of Blue’s power, "that was weird, could have sworn it was freezing just a minute ago", Holly quietly says to herself. The kids are skipping around, playing in the puddles in the alley.
A little girl who looks to be around nine years old slowly peaks her head around the entrance, the same girl that Crystal saw the day before. Unlike the other kids her small round face and long vibrant red hair appear to be spotless.
Her clothes are all torn up but aren't rags like the other kids, one sleeve of her red shirt is torn up all the way up to the collar while the other side is sliced up. Her skirt is worn and faded, looking further down her low heeled shoes are loose with frayed stitching.
The girl slowly walks toward this new unknown person, "who- who are you? Where's Blue?", she nervously asks Holly. She also notices that one of the girl's eyes aren't right, she has a large scar over the eye and the eye itself is a colorless white, almost as if she was blind in the one eye.
"You must be Red, Blue told me you might be around, but don't worry he's doing just fine. I have a friend helping him out right now", she says reassuring Red. Holly notices a small object being tightly gripped in Red's hand, she tries to come closer to get a clear view but Red pushes her hand towards her chest, "leave Arya alone, she's scared", Red shouts at Holly.
Red looks closely into the black orb in her hands as it gives off a dull pulsing glow, "Yeah but it's just an orb" Holly says in response to Red. She looks up to Holly in disgust while placing the orb in her pocket, "I know she's real to me, and that's all that matters to me" Red quickly snaps to Holly.
Blue and Crystal begin to prepare themselves to spar off, Crystal tosses a wooden sword to Blue, “Just because I’m a girl doesn’t mean you should go easy on me, I need to prove you to someone important”, Crystal says before gripping her sword, “I’m not gonna hold back!”She shouts out while lunging her sword towards Blue.
Surprised by the sudden reaction, his eyes begin glowing a deep red and before Crystal is able to strike he dons his sword in a layer of sharp ice, he raises up his sword to meet Crystal’s strike. The resulting clash causes the field around them to be covered in a thick layer of snow and ice, “ugh damn that’s cold, how are you so used to this?” Crystal mutters to Blue while her teeth start to chatter.

Blue breaks free of the clash, slicing right through Crystal's wooden sword causing her to be blown back into the rapidly appearing snow banks around her, “What happened to you?! You’re acting like an entirely different person from just a moment ago!” Crystal shouts out to him, a feeling of fear flushes over her face while her body starts to go numb from the sudden stark cold.
Blue’s heart trembles as distant memories flood back into his head, of the ones he once loved and other fears begin to fester of the ones he might lose.
“You can’t take them away like the others did! I won’t let you!” Blue shouts incoherently as he holds his sword outward towards Crystal while he closes in.
Red looks up into the sky at a swirling vortex of snow in the distance, “I can feel him up there, scared and angry”, Red softly says while holding her orb close to her chest. Her eyes glimmer with the faintness of a tear. “He needs my help, I need to go now!”, Red says before running off towards the thrilling storm in the distance.
Holly reaches out to Red, but before she could hop to her feet Red was already a great distance away, “Hold on Red, it could be dangerous!” Holly shouts out to Red from the alleyway.
Crystal struggles to get back to her feet, still disoriented from being blown back, she lifts her head back up revealing a large bleeding gash on her left cheek. Blue stumbles through the now ankle deep snow, his ice covered sword dragging on the ground behind him, his hand grips tightly onto his forehead as he nears Crystal. “PLEASE STOP!! I didn’t mean to scare you!” Crystal desperately sheeks trying to get through to Blue as the words seem to phase through him.
Blue raises his sword into the air, ready to strike Crystal, “STOP!” Crystal shouts in a final resort as Blue begins to swing down at her. Crystal lets out a scream holding her hands in front of her, a ball of fire swirls around her hands before shooting out in a flurry of amber flames melting the ice and charing the sword right in half, missing her hands by mere inches.
“What? How did I do that, I thought I could only use the wind”, Crystal thought to herself. Blown back by the shock of such a sudden power coming from her, Blue just barely keeps his balance as his thoughts calm back down to a feeling of normalcy.
The sounds of branches snapping and leaves crunching are heard through the forest as Red hurries towards Crystal and Blue, the near constant running and increasingly dropping temperatures seem to have little to no effect on her stamina.
The harsh subzero gusts of wind slam against her face, she can start to make the both of them out but just barely. Blue gives a practically blank stare as he begins to step forward again. “TIME STOP!” Neon shouts from a distance, a beam of crystallized light shines from her outstretched hand and directly into Blue, causing him to be encapsulated within a large crystalline structure, freezing his movements completely.
“What, what’s that?” Crystal promptly asks neon, she looks back to Crystal, her eyes giving off a golden yellow glow, “Why are you trying to recruit unstable people like this Crystal? I told you to investigate, nothing more”, Neon scolds Crystal in a serious tone. Neon’s focus shifts to the brush in the distance, “Time stop”, she once again says as another beam fires into the forest, Red just barely manages to dodge it while entering the clearing, her eye glowing a deep crimson red instead of her normal, lighter shade. “Just who is this now?” Neon asks while approaching Red who’s fixated onto Neon with total focus.
Out of the corner of her eye Red can spot the crystal structure around Blue cracking apart, noticing that Red gives Neon absolutely no attention and walks towards Blue. Neon stands by idly realizing that this little girl isn’t a threat to anyone. Red sits by Blue and waits for the crystal to break open.
“Are you sure you know what you’re doing? Just look at what he did to Crystal”, Neon concerningly says to Red. She looks up to Neon with a soft smile on her face, “It’s ok I can do this”, Red happily says. As the crystal shatters Blue crashes to the ground and dives straight into another mental breakdown, with his eyes tightly shut and scrunched up he blindly swings a punch at the figure standing in front of him.
“Blue STOP!” Red screams while unleashing a forceful push from her raw will alone, sending him flying across the field and knocking him out cold by having him crash into a tree; a collision so hard it made some of the tree bark fall off. Red lets out a large sigh as she walks towards Blue, Crystal and Neon look on in disbelief.
Kneeling down next to Blue, Red looks at him almost with a giggling innocent smile, “I told you not to go anywhere without my help silly, but don’t worry I’ll help you get over your pain”, Red says before getting back up. “Alright Crystal, I’ll let you take these two in, this little girl is really something else”, Neon says, still being dumbfounded by Red’s power.
Off in the distance a cloaked young woman looks at the group from the nearby hills, her long black hair spills outside of her hood and flutters in the wind. Her eyes glow a vibrant golden yellow as she silently looks on with a deep and seeded interest.
Crystal wakes up in her room at the manor, her face seems to be healed from her cut already, looking to her right she notices Neon sitting in a chair looking out the window at a brilliant night sky filled with thousands of stars.
Neon looks towards Crystal, “So do you want to hear Red’s medical report?” She quietly says to her. “Um sure why not”, Crystal confusingly says not knowing why it would be and kind of issue. Neon takes a deep breath, “Well first off she doesn’t have a heartbeat, or a heart at all it seems. Her blood pressure is nonexistent, as if it doesn’t flow at all and hasn’t gone to the bathroom in the six hours she’s been here. This is unlike anything I’ve ever seen, it shouldn’t be possible” Neon says as she looks back up at the stars.
Crystal wakes up early in the morning, hearing crashing and yelling from outside the manor walls, "ugh what the hell is with all the noise?" Crystal annoyingly says, dazed and groggy. "Who stands there?! You can never live up to the unlimited power of the Ultimate Controller of the Universe!" Says a frantic young man.
His clothes are torn and ragged, his short black hair is messy and randly cut and torn out. But yet he still seemed clean, as if this attitude of his was recently developed. The man erratically stumbles towards Crystal, “Our grateful god gave me the powers I desire, the transcendence of her aura washes over me with the power of the Omega Complex!!” He rattles on to Crystal, his arms outstretched around her trapping her against a pillar of the manor.
“Ugh what are you doing here?”, Neon says while approaching the doorway of the manor, the UCU swings his weight away from Crystal and brings his full focus to Neon, “ah Master Neon, long time no see” he says to her with a large creaking smile stretching ear to ear. Out of frustration Neon holds an outstretched hand out, the deep maroon glow of her threatening eyes locked onto the UCU.
A hot glow begins to emerge from her palm, becoming almost blinding as her power builds up, “leave now, I don’t have time cleaning up the mess you would make”, Neon says with a rage brewing in her heart while a soft aura of light resonates around her. “Alright alright sheesh, just you wait. You have no clue what’s to come to you all, you will REGRET all of this!” Screams the UCU as he walks away while facing the two.
Crystal is left with a dumbfounded face, perplexed in utter confusion, “soooo what the hell was that?! Do you know this weird ass creep?”, Crystal says to Neon. Neon takes in a deep breath, “well I guess I’ll explain it to you, but I’ll try and get everyone together at first incase he tries to assault anyone again. Come along with me”, Neon says while leading her back into the manor.
The grand hall is lit by the beautiful and warm morning light, many hours have passed since Neon said that she would have returned with Holly. Red stares deeply into her orb, the deep red glow of her eye washing over the orb.
With boggled eyes Blue stares at Crystal, a blush flushes across his face as he notices that she’s dozed off from the extended wait, “she looks so cute and peaceful when she’s asleep”, he thinks to himself.
A sudden jolt of the door handle wakes Crystal up, causing Blue’s blush to intensify as he shifts his gaze to the other side of the room, “Umm yeah sooo sorry, IIIII’m here guys!!”, Holly says as she bursts in through the door. “Where have you been Holly, more than half the morning is gone already??” Crystal says to her with her mood shifting more into annoyance with every second.
Holly bashfully giggles in response to Crystal’s question, “oh hehe, if ya wanna know so much I was trying to find out where that boy was you seem to like so much. Tuuurns out he’s become a super duper important guard for queen Xenon, who coulda ever thought he would be THAT good hehe”, Holly gleefully says to a flushed red Crystal.
“Holly I don’t ACTUALLY care about him you know”, she says with her cheeks beginning to puff up, “Ha yeah who would care about someone like that am I right?”, Blue interjects in.
Crystal’s gaze angely snaps over to Blue while her eyes glow a deep red, “you better shut up you crazy before I give you a reason to, you’re lucky you’re even here right now”, Crystals says to Blue before he looks away in embarrassment, “yeah, yeah true I can do that too hehe” He says back to her.
After a few minutes go by and the door opens again, but this time with a smooth gentle swing, Neon slowly enters with a sult disappointed glare on her face with Ruby following close behind, “Well we looked everywhere and we couldn’t find Holly so- oh, well of course she’s already here”, Neon says in a dullish tone.
Crystal takes a quick concerned glance around the room, “what where’s Alli, shouldn’t she be here?” Crystal asks Neon. “She’s keeping watch outside, Alli’s already known about him for a long time. So I’m sure most of you are aware why we’re all here, and old, let's call him “friend” has made a reappearance as of late. No matter how absurd he acts we can’t underestimate him or let our guard down, that’s just being careless and will make us lose someone. For some reason I sensed that something felt different about him, which is why I bestow upon all of you to be my loyal guards, and that even includes you too Red. What you did back there was nothing I’ve ever seen from a child and I wonder if any other secrets are within you”, Neon confidently says to the whole group.
Red slowly looks up from her orb with a perplexed gaze, "ummm… can you repeat what you said, I didn't really get any of it", Red says in reply to Neon speech. "Mmm ah whatever, just follow what the others do" Neon aggravatingly states back to Red.
Neon then turns to face Ruby, "Ruby, promptly show them to our armory", She says with a large bright smile brimming with optimism. Ruby swiftly bows down to Neon, "it would be my honor to Master Neon", Ruby says with an heir of confidence. Crystal squeezes her hand on herself in hesitation, her mind caught in deep thought, “I just want to know why you lied to us, you told us you didn’t know how to use the Omega Complex, why would you hide it from us?” Crystal says to Neon with a look of concern on her face. Neon takes a moment to walk calmly over to Crystal and sits across from her and looks into her eyes.
“This Complex isn’t meant to be abused, not only does it mess with nature itself but as shown it has drastically messed with the UCU himself also. It’s for your own good not to try to pressure yourself to learn such a thing. Now please Ruby lead the group out to the armory for me” Neon says while exiting the room.
Ruby leads the group, now absent from Neon, to the armory. Most closely followed behind Ruby, Holly would often dart ahead and would ogle at the countless antiques and paintings adorning the extravagant halls, while Red who was still infatuated by the glow of her orb had her hand clinched by Crystal who was dragging her noncompliant body around as she loosely stumbled along, "God damn you're a pain to bring along" Crystal thought to herself.
Blue was lagging behind at the back of the group, his eyes nervously fixating on and off of Crystal. Situated at the far right wing of the manor, an area that looks significantly older than any of the other parts of the building, she leads them to the end of a long hall.
Holly focuses deeply on the unsuspecting wall, "oh oh oh! This is where you gotta hit the bricks just right huh? I saw cool stuff like this all the time in my story books!" Holly exclamates in excitement. Ruby who was struck off guard by the statement let's put a sudden laugh, "well… no, just go through the door behind you, no need to hide anything in our own house", Ruby affirmatively says.
Feeling dumbfounded, Holly heads through the door, "ah yes you see that was just me trying to test how well you knew the place, yeah, yeah that's it!" Holly quickly says through a flushed face of embarrassment.
Past the old oak wood door leads to a deep and ornate stone spiral staircase, Ruby swiftly makes her way down quickly followed by Holly and Blue while Crystal struggles to stagger Red down the flight, “Ugh can you just stop looking at that orb for a moment”, Crystal wines to Red.
Red sharply looks up to Crystal, “sorry, but Arya’s been really needy today, she really needs all the care she can get right now”, Red says before following Crystal to the bottom of the stairwell, “I don’t really care about your silly little orb, this is important Red”, Crystal angrily snaps back to Red.
Upon hearing Crystal’s stark mood, Red's attitude sharply declines, “She’s real, I just know she is, please hold her, you’ll understand”, Rad says while holding the orb out in her hands by the sudden revelation, Crystal cups her hands together and holds them out in front of Red, when it’s placed in her hand Crystal can feel an almost hot warmth radiating off of it, a heat that would have been way warmer than Red’s body heat. Crystal looks up from the orb to see Red’s face, stricken with concern, “you can feel her right?! Please tell me you can”, She says back to Crystal.
“I can’t say for sure what it can be, but feel like I can believe you Red”, Crystal says with a warm, soft smile before giving the orb back to Red, her face starts to light back up from hearing Crystal’s reply.
A sudden rattling causes the both of them to draw their attention away from each other, “oooo is this a huge battle sledgehammer thing!?” Holly says struggling to pick up the weapon larger and heavier than her, “mmmm aaa- whoa oops” she says before letting the weapon crash into the hard stone tile floor, leaving a large crack spidering out in all directions. Ruby looks back to Holly with a sharp quick glance, "please refrain from trying to destroy everything you see, but now come along. I'll start you all off nice and easy" Ruby says while retrieving three arming swords from a glass case.
"Alright, one for you Crystal, Holly, and Blue. They're arming swords, easy to learn and practical to boot. Oh and don’t think I forgot about you little Red, you’re a little too young to have a full sized sword so take this”, Ruby says while reaching deep inside of an immaculately decorated chest and bringing out a rustic but hardy looking dagger.
“This dagger was once Neon’s when she was around your age and I want you to have it now Red, there’s just something telling me that you’re suppose to have it”, Ruby says holding out the dagger to Red in both hands, the rather large dagger is a rather heavy one and almost the length of Red’s arm, she slowly takes the blade with a slight hesitance.
The group became acquainted with their new weapons, after which Ruby addressed the group, “well the day is wasting away, we might as well get started on the first part of our new training already”, Ruby says to everyone before leading them out of the manor.
The warm afternoon sun shines it's rays over the whole town, a gentle breeze whips through the air and atop the tallest tower of the fortress stands a dark figure. It is in fact the same figure of which who was watching Red the day before, the girl has her eyes locked onto the manor, a bright ball of yellow light slowly orbits around her.
The ball gives off a faint humming and also gives off a very comforting warmth, “are you sure this is the right thing to do? I feel like I’ve been lost for the longest time”, the girl quietly says to the floating orb of light. “Do as you please, fail or succeed your destiny has already been written. You’ll find yourself again once you arrive onto the right path”, the orb says in a soft echo.
She clenches her fist in frustration causing a dark aura to appear around her hand, “alright, if you say so” she quietly remarks while looking off at the town, her eyes glowing the familiar golden yellow.

The Only Real Cultivator
Vincent was relaxing in physics class when he and his entire class were teleported into a vast other world, where everybody called themselves cultivators and fought with magical martial arts. Vincent gained power over plants, allowing him to turn seeds into all sorts of vegetation. He ventures out into this new world filled with phony cultivators to set the record straight. He can make one declaration with absolute certainty, “I am the only real cultivator!” - You will see an overpowered main character with a cheat ability. You will see "comedy". You will see a normal guy who gets teleported to another world. You will see classic wuxia elements like Qi cultivation and alchemy. You will see grammar from a native speaker. You won't see a ruthless MC who kills everybody that offends him. You won't see harem. It's essentially everything I like about light novels, web novels, and wuxia all shoved into one story. If you’d like an unholy mix of overpowered main character, wuxia, fantasy, and LitRPG - give The Only Real Cultivator a try. 6/1/2020 edit: Some bloke plagerized this book and put it on amazon, titling it "Ancient Cultivator." tbh I'm kinda flattered that I'm worth plagerizing. Still, don't buy the book. The whole thing's available here for free.

There he stood, dark eyes, dark hair, beautiful in the most devastating of ways. It scared me how little he had changed, his hair was longer and black, his frame thinner, like he hadn't eaten since I last saw him. His eyes were different, lacking something they had always held before, lacking anything really, and yet he was the same. He looked weak, but I knew he wasn't. "Hi, angel."His voice was just as dead as his eyes. It sent a shiver up my spine. That was the reason I felt sick, that was the reason he seemed different. He was dead, and as much as I wanted to hate him, I was sad he was empty, sad he wasn't the same man anymore."Hello, Gabriel."My voice came out softer than I would have liked, the words burning my tongue. But it didn't matter, I got the desired effect even if the volume wasn't there. He flinched, his eyes widening, his eyebrows twitching up and together, his jaw setting for just a moment. But then it was gone and he looked away, death settling back in his eyes, in the lines of his face.» ✦ «#2 in Angel Romance#3 in Demonology#11 in Thriller#Mature, 18+ for all the reasons.
