Akemi stares at Fumiko, Ken and Haru

Fumiko: "What?"

Haru looks down and sees the army of undead "what the hell is going on here?"

Akemi stands up and jumps off of the body of the ant queen and in front of the undead

Akemi turns his head back to the army "hey, put those down those aren't weapons"

The undead looks at Akemi

Akemi points at Ken, Fumiko and Haru "they are not enemies, now put those down"

Fumiko: "E-excuse me Akemi...Would you mind explaining what's going on?"

Akemi looks at Fumiko "Explain?" he smirks "why would I need to explain anything to you?"

Fumiko's right eyebrow twitches

Ken walks toward Akemi angerly "Hey! She said expla-" his eyes widen as a red and blade sword is against his neck

Akemi tilts his head slightly as he notices Solace in front of Ken holding his sword

Ken thoughts "w-when did this guy get in front of me"

Haru eyes widen "So fast, I barely could see him move"

Akemi raises his right hand slightly "Solace, that's enough...Fall back"

Solace lowers his sword while staring at Ken

Ken starts sweating

Solace jumps backward in the air, landing next to Akemi. he turns to Akemi and bows his head

Haru: "He's bowing? To Akemi?"

Akemi starts walking towards Ken, Haru and Fumiko

Ken: "W-what is it"

Akemi raises his left hand and lowers it

A shadow appears below the undead army and they disappear into it

Akemi walks past Haru, Ken and Fumiko "You guys can have the drops as promised"

Haru looks back at Akemi "where are you going?"

Akemi: "Back...I kept my word, So I don't need to start here any longer"

Later

Akemi walks in the union and to the counter

Man behind the counter "welcome back Mr. Akemi"

Akemi: "Hello"

Man behind the counter bows his head "sorry for the late introduction, my name is Arden the manager of the Alchemy Union branch

Akemi: "Oh, nice to meet you Arden"

Arden: "How may I help you today?"

Akemi: "I want to sell you something that I found inside of the rift today" he lifts his right hand and reaches into his inventory then pulls out a magic crystal shard

Arden: "Is that... A shard of a magic crystal"

Akemi gives the shard to Arden "yes, I found it today"

Arden: "My goodness, this is a rare find"

Akemi: "How much can I sell this for"

Arden: "We can pay ¥20,000 for this right now"

Akemi: "Really? 20,000 just for a shard?"

Arden looks up "Mr. Akemi do you know why a small shard like this is worth so much?"

Akemi: "Not really"

Arden smirks "you are aware that magic ores holds magic energy used to enhance and create equipment correct?"

Akemi: "Yes and?"

Arden: "Well, even though magic ores are larger than crystal shards they lack the quality."

Akemi: "Huuh"

Arden: "Magic ores are bigger so they hold more energy than a shard and are easier to obtain since they are found in every rift. But magic crystals can only be found in rifts with high magic waves, magic crystal shards are smaller but their energy is more concentrated than a ore. Just a magic crystal shard holds 10 times more energy than a magic ore"

Akemi: "Oh, I see" he looks to the right "can I sell more than one at a time?"

Arden: "More? Yes of course"

Akemi: "good" he moves the window from his right and puts it in the air

Arden watches Akemi move his arms "Is he dancing or something" (Can't see the window)

Akemi taps the screen and magic crystal shards start pouring onto the ground

Arden eyes widen as he watches the shards keep falling on the floor from nowhere

The shards stop falling after a few second

Arden stares at Akemi with a blank look and smiling

Akemi: "Is that fine?"

Arden: "U-um, we have no problem with buying this. B-but it will probably take a while to calculate the price"

Akemi waves his right hand side to side "please take your time...Oh and I have something else"

Arden: "THERE'S MORE?"

Akemi reaches into the inventory and takes out a magic crystal "I have this as well"

Arden: "A-a-a-a magic crystal" he falls down and his head hits the counter"

Akemi scratches his head "Hmm, well I'll just put it here" he puts the magic crystal next to Arden's head "Oh and please tell Ming Bao to find me another rift to enter tomorrow" he walks away

Later

A hand slaps the table

Fumiko: "Uncle! Who Is Akemi!"

Ming Bao: "Akemi? He's my benefactor"

Fumiko: "That is not what I mean"

Ming Bao: "Is there a problem?"

Haru: "There is no problem but it is strange that a D rank hunter can clear a C ranked rift by himself without a scratch"

Ken: "That guy, he can even control the dead"

Haru: "Are you sure that he's a D rank hunter?"

Ming Bao: "Hmm, from what I'm aware of"

Fumiko: "That guy must be lying about his rank, there is no way a D rank hunter can do that" she bites her thumb "Oh, I have an idea"

Ming Bao: "About?"

Fumiko: "I want to go with that guy next time he enters a rift"

Ming Bao: "Uh" he sweats a little "I don't think I can do that"

Fumiko: "And why not"

Ming Bao: "That is his decision not mine"

Ming Bao's Thoughts: "I'm sorry but there are things I can't tell you about him"

Fumiko: "What?"

Haru: "Fair enough, we will not ask to enter the rift but at least tell us what rift he's going to next"

Ming Bao looks at them

The Next Day

Akemi stretches his arms while walking towards a rift then stops when he sees Fumiko, Haru and Ken "Oh, it's you guys again?"

Fumiko looks at Akemi "Yes, and" she walks towards Akemi and points to him "we are going inside with you"

Akemi moves Fumiko's hand "no you're not, you'll only slow me down"

Haru: "We won't get in your way or anything, we just want to go inside with you"

Ken: "Tch, I simply want to see how exactly soloed a C rank rift by yourself"

Fumiko: "Huh? Why do you sound so smug now, you wouldn't stop talking about it yesterday"

Ken face turn red a little "What?"

Haru: "I know right? Oh how did he do it? Is he really that strong? How can a D rank hunter and not me? Who is that guy?" he smiles "I can't say I wasn't curious but you were on another level"

Fumiko chuckles "my ears were about to fall off"

Ken's face turns bright red "S-SHUT UP!"

Haru and Fumiko laughs while Ken yells at them

Akemi looks at them and three kids comes to his mind

Akemi: "Pfft" He starts laughing loudly

Ken, Fumiko and Haru looks at Akemi "Huh?"

Akemi walks past them and stands in front of the rift then looks back "fine, do what you want" he looks back at the rift "just don't slow me down" he walks into the rift

Haru, Fumiko and Ken: "Right!"

2 Months Later

The school bell rings

Ms. Taka walks into the classroom "good morning, please take your seats and quiet down" she puts her book on the desk then sits in a chair "I would take attendance but "she looks around the class "it looks like all of the seats are full" she looks to the back of the class at Akemi's empty seat

Ms. Taka Thoughts: "Today, is the day he's suppose to come back...Is he not coming back?"

Yuuto looks behind him to his left "...He's still not here...Akemi..." he looks back at Ms.Taka

Ms.Taka sighs "well, as you guys now today is the day of the class examination. Do not be nervous and just-"

The door slides open

Ms. Taka looks to her left "well well, glad you decided to show up"

Akemi walks into the classroom "sorry, I overslept"

Yuuto Thoughts: "AKEMI!" he smiles widely

Doi's Thoughts: "So that loser finally decided to show up huh?"

Ms. Taka stands up "Now that everyone's here, let's go"

The students stand up

Later

Ms.Taka opens a door

Loud cheers can be hear from the other side

The students see a huge circle arena with seats around it filled with people, a clear sky and silver pillars around the area

The students look around "I didn't know the school had a place like this, right me neither, how long has this been here?"

Dai: "Hey, why are there so many people here?"

Ms. Taka: "Did you not read the pamphlet?"

Dai: "The what?"

Ms. Taka sighs "everything will be explained soon" she walks toward the stage then turns around "but for now...Welcome to the class examination"
