The Mayor has taken action and has completely blocked off the peer, putting a chain link dome around the area and placing a sign telling trespassers to stay out. Hopefully this will do something to keep the two at bay. Honesty, I wish we did more. I feel unsatisfied with how things went. I'm not the only one as Holmes has been trying to figure out a way to take care of them once and for all. Right now the only hope we have is if they turn themselves in like Mrs. Hare's mom did. Fat chance that'll happen. If this case has taught me anything, don't underestimate Gosbi, he may be off his rocker but he actually knows what he's doing. The Mayor praised him for solving the case. Holmes has asked to stay with me for a bit longer. When asked why he simply said "to continue my path to reincarnation of course." I don't know what that means but as long as he keeps solving cases I'm more than happy to have him under my roof. I wish I understood Gosbi better. For now though I'll have to accept my role as his assistant… and honestly, I think I'm okay with that.
