"Hm... Really? Are you hiding something from me huh?" their mother said while standing behind them and massaging their shoulders gently.
"N-no it's nothing mom," Yua stuttered.
"Hmph... hmph" Yama just nodded.
"Hm...something fishy...but I'll let it pass... for now..." their mother heads back to the kitchen.
"Fuh..." Yama exhales.
They go straight to the second floor with relief in their breath.

Once Yama gets into his room which was painted with orchid colour, he stands near a brown bed. Yama takes off his persian blue uniform. The length is identical to a lab coat that reaches his upper thigh. Yama's black t-shirt that he uses as the inner is the only shirt still intact on his upper body. He standing alone in his room.
His eyes stare toward both his arms. More like, he stares toward the place his arm should be because he can't see his arms. Both of his arms are invisible in his view. It is not there.
Why can't I see my arms? But for some reason, it is still there. Everyone can see it. Yua can, mom can, no one tells me that I lost my arm because everyone can see it except me. And it still functions well. It is doing what my mind wants it to. But I can't feel the touch.
Yama thought while sitting on the edge of his bed. The folds of his purple bed sheets wrinkled as he sat on them.
The eyes can see, but they can't feel...rather, it is more likely to cheat. That's what the man said... Yama's monologue.
"What kind of quote is that? Does this have a connection with the letter I got before?"
"Maybe I can find some answer in Enigma…the letter is from Enigma too. But I'm gonna take a bath and eat first."

"Knock! Knock!" Someone knocked on Yama's door.
"Do you want to take a bath first Yama? If you don't want to, I will go first…" Yua's voice can be heard but rather slow because the door blocking it.
"You should go first!" Yama shouted so Yua can hear it.
"Okay."
Yama checks on the round wall clock hanging in his room opposite his bed, "5:15 p.m...I should do some workouts and test what things my invisible arms can handle and what not…"
Yama starts placing himself in a push-up position with his invisible but functioning arm and starts his count loud enough for him to hear.
"119, 118, 117, 116..."
****
"Yama… what do you think of it?"
Several days had already passed since the incident where we met the man with a black butler outfit. I'm getting used to these invisible arms…even it's weird sometimes looking at something like floating food getting into my mouth because I can't see my hand holding the spoon. Yama's thoughts in his mind.
"Yama…?"
After I check it, I still see my left arm that is separated from my body in the library and weirdly, I can't take or touch it. It feels like a hologram. Moreover, I can't find my right arm. It separated from my body when I magically teleported back to the library while running with Yua. Where did it go?
"Yama!"
"Huh? Oh, why Yua?"
"Yama... I'm not Yua!" a woman in an orange office suit with a white skirt raised her voice to Yama. She is standing in front of the class. Then she walks toward Yama's table which is located almost in the middle of the class. The class consists of 20 students with 5 rows and 5 lines of student seats. Yama's seat coordination is in the third line and the fourth row.

"Oh, I- I'm sorry sensei… I don't hear you." Yama finally realizes his teacher's call.
She starts to get near Yama slowly while her hands are being put on her waist.
"Tuk... Tuk…" The class can hear the sound of her heels while she takes a step forward.
"Come on, Yama... how many times do you want to daydream? Focus on my class, please. You have three weeks before the entrance exam, if you fail it, you cannot enrol at this Scabiosa School."

In Pursuit of Bark's Finest
On the frontiers of transhumanity’s expansion into the galaxy thousands of light years from the light of Sol, things can get rather chaotic. There are countless millions of nascent interstellar nations securing their interests, pirate ships prospering off plunder and deniable mercenary work, dissidents setting up their own civilizations, and other groups all trying to push an agenda. When these groups crash into each other, the results can become extremely messy and convoluted. Recently, a frontier nation calling itself the Red Star Union has found itself at the focal point of one such complication. A freighter under their protection has been sabotaged, hijacked in interstellar space, and robbed of its cargo. This would be bad enough even if all it were carrying was luxury goods, but the freighter Nebula Plow was carrying more than just normal trade goods. Indeed, her cargo of Non-Orientable Wormholes for use in starship power plants was both very expensive and very, very dangerous. Now the Red Star Union has to worry about a pirate crew running around with several extra devices capable of converting matter into antimatter with negligible energy cost. With those, the pirates could be capable of inflicting untold damage if allowed to leverage their ill-gotten gains into a stronger position, a possibility the Union finds completely intolerable. Unfortunately, all that the Red Star Union has to go on for evidence is two names; that of the captain, and that of the ship. The Captain is going by the possible pseudonym of Fuller, while the ship is named Bark’s Finest. And thus the orders came down to the Union’s Bureau of Starforce Intelligence: find more information on these pirates, conclusively identify them, and figure out where exactly they’ve gone to ground so that the fleet can crush them before they get established. Of the many agents that the bureau assigned to this mission, one would happen to play an important role: Field Agent Madeline Zargosty. This is her story. This story is entirely pre-written, and will have one chapter released per week. If you want to read it all ahead of schedule and get access to some premium-exclusive bonus content, the entire book is available for purchase; links to the appropriate storefront pages will be posted at the end of each chapter. This story is also being posted to Scribblehub.
