Thanks to their fear and shock , the energy they gave out fueled him and like any drug it was a little too much . And him being in a drunk haze, he really could not successfully filter out any energy from negative sources so he absorbed everything that came to him and that wasn't the greatest thing he could do...

Absorbing energy is okay in the sense that he is way less successful of retaining his own like other cultivators in this fields. So from time to time he needs supplements for this very reason..

And getting the supplements is very easy here because he can get them from cultivating the monsters born through dreams of others .

However despite this ,it is still very unsafe for him to absorb energy from two kinds of sources at the same time . Sources in the sense that the bodies that produced them have different dominant energy. Others good and some bad.

Energy flows like a river currents . And like the river there are types of flows ,those with high speed and those with lower speed, those that flow from the east of the world and those that flow from the West

It's a natural phenomena for this to be the case and so is the presence of energy. So it's not shocking that there would be energy flowing in opposing directions .

With the above said, due to the phenomena of nature ,at one point the types of river flows will meet . Just like that, subjectively there would be a point where the energies will meet. And akin to warm current meeting cold current, there is usually a cyclone depending on the overlap of the currents. This means that when the pure and the black meet without a doubt there will be a disbalance in the system of the organism invaded by the two energies.

And this is the part which is called collision of poles

In this case the warm current is the black energy. This is because it had the greatest amount of momentum. The mechanism behind that is anything that oppose nature has to have more kinetic or potential energy than that which makes things go according the natural order. Meaning that because black energy naturally flows against the order of nature, it has more stamina. Sort of like kinetic energy greater that activation energy in order for a reaction to happen.

Anyway since it is so fired up , the energy will overwhelm the pure energy immediately at the point of entry and then the resulting flow is reversed. However because the entry is just new and very bombastic, there is still a possibility that the body wants to fight back the flow and that is the stage of progression commonly described as what is out remains there and what's inside remains contained.

At times the energy can be so charged up that the inner energy has no fighting chance. Should that be the case, then the victim has a prompt effect of dilution called being possessed or as some prefer to name it the black -aura.

According to the books, at the time of entry when the two energies meet, there is a disbalance in the system. The disbalance cause a bit of a commotion but one that is not so serious. Afterwards there begins a phase called incubation whereby the commotion occuring in the inside of the body begins to grow . The reason being that the black energy is beginning to spread further through he body. Inspite of being rigorous,this stage is very short-lived meaning that it can last for three to five hours.

During this time the cyclone induces paralysis or the body to temporarily shut off. Simply because the body redirects its mechanism to fight the enemy (alien objects are not welcome). By redirecting the attention to the foreign energy ,it means that the body can no longer support consciousness hence needs to shut off.Similar to how the body undergoes several more processes when a person sleeps

Despite these efforts, any non-cultivation approach to counteract the black energy is very futile and useless. In rare occasions is the black energy delayed but whatever the case it is never stopped from carrying out its task.

A few minutes after the body was in shutdown, the black energy will eventually reach the core and break its walls. The goal of this is for symbio , of course. There are many ways of breaking the core. One such is piercing it and then infiltrating. The infiltration of anything foreign corrodes the exterior of the core causing it to crumble. This is the most common method as the energy enters from all directions and therefore pierces the core from all of them. There is no route for entry unlike most people believe it's through the openings of the body like the mouth , nose , ears and others. It is infact through the pores of the skin which according to biology everyone is covered everywhere with skin

The most cruel method of crumbling the walls is compression.Not much is known about it because of its rarity and the fact that those who have it disintegrate fifty days after the first point of entry. Due to this crazy thing, sect master coroners have never had the time to properly study the body.

At one point , there was a case involving compression and due to the the pressure of time , coroners joined forces to collect as much clues from the body as possible but that was futile because within ten days the body turned to liquid and their clues to dust. Spirit energy is the very fired up form of black energy and has the highest degree of colonizing the body . When a spirit enters body, the period until manifestation can take less than ten days. This is aided by that the fact that it's so fast I doesn't sink in like how fast waters are seldom deep , it doesn't take the time to truly penetrate the meridians and just goes to the core. Dream form is one that has the most difficult uprooting the bad energy. It is excruciatingly deep-rooted and can take years, months even decades before the manifestation .

It has lower momentum compared to its alternative and thus the body doesn't react forcefully to it , and this gives it the chance to seep into the meridians, weakening them stealthy. Eventually the dream will reach the core and when that happens, it is like releasing a deranged lunatic.

The form will use all tricks up its sleeve and within ten hours of reaching the core, the manifestation would occur and it's never a pretty sight..

In overview, an individual is exposed to two forms of bad energy being the spirit and the dream. The two differ in a lot of ways like manifestation time and speed of colonization. When bad energy enters the body by either of the form , it experiences a repulsion from the normal flow of the body. After some time which is dependant on the form of the bad energy, the energy will reach the core through the. energy channels. The meridians may or many not be heavily infected , a factor that is also reliant on the form of bad energy.

Upon reaching the core ,there are ways it can use to destroy the barriers of the core . These walls are not solid like those of a pellet or an orb rather they are made of a transparent barrier that is conditionally permeable but arguably perpetually impenetrable.

After breaking the walls of the core, the bad energy will reach the motherboard of the core , where all vital energy is concentrated . When it reaches that ,another cyclone will occur but this time it's going to have physical effects, like changes in body shape and limbs, bleaching of limbs , unsequential pigmentation of the skin..etc. During this time , the bad energy will be ironically enough, redirecting the flow completely.

This stage is called reorganizing the cabinet. When it does this , purification is almost as useless as repulsion by good energy. All they can do is other methods of cultivation like paralytic repression. This is the process of stopping energy flow in the body thereby inducing paralysis.

The success of this depends on how infected the core is .

During this paralysis, the individual will be in life support through many kinds of things being performed on them like artificial respiration and brain activity control .
