Jung walked back to the room after thirty minutes and found BoGum lying on his bed.

He walked over to his phone and started pressing it.

BoGum broke the silence and asked him which dessert is sweet but not so sweet.

Jung was confused on what exactly BoGum is trying to say.

He continued to explain that he wants to make the third dessert not overly sweet because maybe his taster is not big on sweets..

"Taster? I completely forgot.What am I going to do?", Jung asked and he proceeded to snatch his phone

"Ask your girlfriend", commented BoGum.

That's right.Mr Jeon Jungkook has a girlfriend that he completly forgot about. Miyawaki Sakura. Actually he didn't forget about her, he did ask her and she said yes but as of lately she has been acting fishy so he does not know if she will actually show up.It would mean the world if she showed up.

At first she was easily predictable, a cute girl who likes Jung s cooking and his incredible sense of humor.Loving cuddles and relaxing couple spa dates, the kind where you put green cream in the face and cucumbers on the eyes, despite how burning they are .She would have obviously loved to support Jung and she is caring and honest at the same time ,so she won't give a bad opinion.Plus most people are bringing their girlfriends so it won't be weird.

However right now , she has been acting like a she is getting tired of their elationship, when Jung wants for them to have a date at San s kitchen, she would insist on going to a fun place like an arcade or worse an amusement park . She knows Jung hates unnecessary loudness, only talk if you have something important to say otherwise spare the audience.

Withal, last Tuesday she suggested the amusement park and he agreed they should go.When they got there she started running around whilst pulling Jung. She wanted to try everything with her boyfriend.Thats okay because it displayed her childish side and Jung really adores that part of her so he couldn't help feeling happy over the nostalgia that accompanied this behaviour.Anyway his mind immediately switched to actually trying to enjoy this moment.However the second that happened Sakura wanted the worst possible thing, cotton-candy!!

She is his girlfriend .She is supposed to know his likes and dislikes and his preferences.How can she possibly mouth the words to Jung. He had to swallow so much of his ego to be here and run in the bare sun for her. He postponed his plans (making glass noodles dipped in broccoli soup at San's place then forcing Doyoung to eat them) just to be here.He meet her with a smiling face despite her ridiculous demand to hang out mid-week.She had insulted him in the worst way possible.Cotton-candy is prepared in open air, without much attention to detail or hygiene.Food is art and should be respected and meaningful. What part of that does cotton-candy represent?..

He was really mad that day and whenever he wanted to text her and lie saying he had fun , he thought of smashing the phone against the wall because the strawberry taste seemed to get resurrected..

So right now he is caught up on whether to call for someone else

Jung just thought to give her a chance and called his girlfriend. The phone rang on and wasn't answered

He tried again but this tiime the call went on voicemail.Why isn't she answering?

Is she mad because Jung didn't call her yesterday?

He tried to text her but felt like he should apologize first.Whatever he is going to apologize for is unclear but if that's what will make the baby-faced beauty happy, then it's what going to happen

He then hung up and just texted her asking to meet before he goes to the lab. Probably short notice but it's way better than not taking the initiative

Jung slumped on the bed and ruffled his hair proceeding to burying his head in his hands.

"What about Doyoung",asked BoGum who was typing on his phone

"I would rather sit on a cactus", replied Jung, without raising his head

BoGum chuckled at that. He knows that Doyoung is out of the question but he thinks they make an adorable duo, especially when they argue with each other.So imagine if Doyoung was being childish and Jung can't explode on him because of the professional set-up

Besides Jung is closer to DoYoung than San because Doyoung is the only one who knows about Miyawaki s recent scandalous outbursts and the amusement park date.If that does mark trust then what does.

They are always arguing like siblings and they hate each other so much but watching them never ceases to echo of entertainment.

Jungkook just ignored BoGum s chuckle.He really would rather not have pesky Doyoung there. And then he turned his head ,whilst subconsciously considering the disorder that Doyoung attracts ,looked at the box on the bed and he smiled a bit. The only person more obsessed with his cooking than Sakura is DoYoung.

Jungkook immediately shrugged his shoulders as he almost thought positively of DoYoung..

BoGum caught him doing that and he laughed at him.

Jungkook huffed because he felt embarrassed as it was obvious what just happened. He stood up and walked over to BoGum s desk and pulled the colourful recipe book that was on the far side of the table..

He sat on the table and just paged through the book..

There is nothing this book can teach but it's interesting to look at the graphics. Who knows? Maybe he can find a recipe to make Doyoung more less annoying..

"Okay class, today is our first practical session on a three course meal and a three side desserts.Your taster will be here in three hours and you have until then to make a total of three dishes.", explained Chef Lee MinHo.

He proceeded to explain that today's exercise is going to be included in the GPA. He then went to mention that the taster people have brought today will taste dishes and give their favourite but they will not know which dish belongs to who ,that way the exercise is fair.

The basic goal of today s exercise is simply customer satisfaction.

With that, the class began and ingredients started to be sifted.

There were twenty stoves in this room and each had a student standing behind to it.

Jung is the second best to Yuta Nakamoto.And at this point it was really annoying that they were directly opposite one another.

Yuta is quiet and has this look that can give bizzarre chills.Not the scary kind but the high IQ one. Sometimes his silence can be so weird that it feels like he said a mouthful of curses

Anyway, Yuta has the specialty of making complicated dishes that are show-stopping but as always Jung s plaiting is always the best, sophisticated and classy..and BoGum s dishes are always the simplest yet very irresistable because a lot is usually hiding a lot less.Big things do come in small packages

Two and a half hours were already down and everyone was cleaning their workstation and setting up their meals so that everyone can come taste..Of course the initial time was three hours but if one relies on that and doesn't save time to clean up, they will lose marks. No one will taste anything placed in a dirty set-up.

After that the students were allowed to leave the room and the tastes would come in later ten minutes later and after some time usually less than an hour they would come back..

For this exercise, the students came back fifty minutes later.As the young chefs walked into the room, the audience was leaving and chef Lee was thanking the customers for coming to today's event and they can feel free to take home anything that they like..They can't interact with one another until after the session..

Jung walked into the room last, next Yuta and BoGum.

He headed over the appetisers section to see what food was finished and the results were obvious as it has always been the case.Yuta s plate was finished followed by his then BoGum

All the other sections followed the same pattern and it was really a cause of indifference.He doesn't understand whether to be happy or not..

Anyway he obviously wanted to know what he had got but by the looks of things it's obvious he got second place.

Yuta walked over to his side and he looked at the empty platters .He folded his arms over his chest and he just stared indidffently, so nonchalantly..

Jung wanted to punch him but then again why he want people and Yuta to know he is jealous..

As he was right there, Chef Minho walked to them and he smiled like a proud father.He raised his head and called over BoGum who was washing his hands near the sink..

As soon as BoGum arrived, Chef Lee said that he is proud of them.The tasters loved their desserts from mind-blowing physics of Yuta s perfectly-level three tier dark&white chocolate swirled souffle, to Jung s blue glaze lemon meringue pie suspended in a vertically inclined manner topped with devilishly artistic burnt edges and a blood red cherry down to BoGum s adorable even stacked heart and moon shaped macarons hanging on a white sugar chandelier

He complimented them on each of their strengths and encouraged them to keep it up because he wants them to ace the final practical session..

He smiled before placing his hand on Yuta s shoulder then a nod to Jung ending with a smile to BoGum...He walked away and the three boys just stood there.. They watched him leave and after he closed the door, without a word they parted.

BoGum headed out first and Jung headed for the sinks..

Yuta removed his apron and folded it strategically..

He looked at Jung who was washing his hands and then he ignored him and walked to the door..

Before he could close the door and leave he looked at him again and knitted his brows a little..

'Whatever',he thought to himself before disappearing from the panel
