It's early morning and the fourth day of week.

Today is options day meaning the disciples have to go and practice their optional courses.

The school syllabus is divided into two , major and optional. The former is done by everyone and consists of three courses being the meditation, fitness and simulation training. These are the basics for every cultivator and failure to complete one of them revokes one from being a cultivator.

For the optional courses ,they have three such to choose from .These are practically ways for administering cultivation . There is chemical cultivation, elemental spell casting and inventory.

Though the latter two are different,most wolves think of them as the same thing as they both emphasize devices in some way that chemical doesn't. So in more case , disciples from these options are called weapon cultivators while the chemical cultivator are called alchemist

Major courses are done from the first day of the week till the third . The fourth day has assignments and later during the day there is etiquette , writing ,data analysis and presentation classes

These classes are offered by Nalem, Rova , Jakhyer and Tajih. The first three are assistant masters for the options on complete rotation and the latter is in charge of fitness training.

Because the title for master is similar to that ot home room teacher, masters can move in between classes offering tuition for them.They just have to pick a field that they are familiar with and can help. But this is not haphazardly done. Once one picks they have to stick to the course aiding for the next three months and then they can switch if they want. Just like Kijad being in charge of meditation but occasionally helping in simulation training.

The master title lasts for five years afterwards, teachers are rotated . Obviously the rotation is based on the specialty so teachers that are not that insighted into a topic won't be found being a master for that cultivation . It's not to say they are incapable but rather that they are better off doing something else.

Again, this rotation is further sub-divided into complete and partial. When a master has a course that they are entitled to and then they help elsewhere they are on partial rotation. But if a master is not assigned a course during this five year period , they defautly go into complete rotation where they become assistants for two courses from the six official ones or one etiquette plus any one from the six basic ones

Emair is the master of chemical cultivation and works with Jakhyer ,former master of elemental spell casting, who is now on complete rotation. Everything that regards chemicals is known by him.Which is why others believe that he must have really invented those chemicals because of the way he knows. But they are clearly joking.

Bored wolves spread a lot of 'weird' rumors. One such undying one is about Jakhyer. Word has it that because he is so smart that he can go on chemical rotation twice a year and he is very formidable with spells,, he must be making himself a white lotus!!

This is probably this most iconic thing a full grown werewolf had solemnly said and believed that shows the mind can indeed be absent. Chemical cultivation is practice of making chemicals to use in cultivation not as brain juice!!

To back up their white lotus theory, alongside brain juice ,he was said to have cosmetic cream. And they definitely think that way because Jakhyer has the northern hemisphere white skin, the kind that looks natural like he had been living in the cold all his life .And because of this his skin looks like it is made of glass unlike Adrian who looks like snow.

Thanks to his glass skin , his lips are by far the most pink colored in all of the wolf grounds. They sort of look like they he had on lip dye but the lip dye is on the rich pink side than it is on the red .

Irregardless of how one reasons it, magenta lips will always be better looking than red and the best part is his are natural no matter what happens they seldom change shades . If by rare chance that there is a change, they either become even more like peonies or like tulips.

This cherry hue is then accompanied by one of the most unique flattering lip shape and one which makes him more pulchritudinous, the heart shaped cupid .

The upper lip looks like two gentle slope hills tilting to each other at the beginning but as one ascends their slope , it gets even more steep and then at the point the hills join a little so that their summits fractionally differentiable. For the lowered lip , it looks like every one else's when it's singled out but when it is joined to the other lip the effect is really enticing

Obviously with a beautiful lips comes an exquisite smile and Jakhyer is the king of the description. He rarely never smiles but when he did, the presentation of his cupid is very much worth being enthralling and that is no joke.

More often than not , he genuinely looks like he is not from here because unlike the cat eye shapes, moonlit and upturned eyes that are popular here , he has tear drop shaped eyes . Those kind of eyes that start off a bit wide and then end up with a very sharp point to the extent that he seems to be a fusion of cat ,upturned and crescent moon.Without a doubt they would curl inwards when he smiled or changed his face shape in any particular way.

As for his behavior it is quite predictable because he acts like every handsome young master out there. Introverted, mysterious , knowledgeable, reserved and mesmerizing.

However his personality is one that is not so easy to tell because he seldom interacts with anyone and when he does that not much that isn't already obvious that can be picked up.

Anyway , since he is so intellectually reliable there is nothing about chemicals and spells he can't explain but that is rarely a benefit to the wolves for a certain reason as ignorance is not a valid one .

The wolves have a bad habit of saying they understand but when they are given an exercise they infrequently display their understanding. Reason being that they never really understood and even if they did, they understood wrong because they heard wrong from the get-go

So even if Jakhyer or Emair tells them to ask question, they don't have anything to say and later they would be flooding Ryle with book requests to the point that he would have to explain a concept to them as a whole as they can't really divide four books among so many students. The reason being that each book is a follow up of the other. If one reads a single book they would need to read three others to understand the whole concept

So for effectivity often Ryle just offers them a petite tutoring session. But even then , it is at times not useful because Ryle is not yet an expect in the field and old habits die hard.

" This herb is a key ingredient in purification so it falls in the hundred and twenty most important cultivation herbs that you all must know. Each of those herbs when used with any combination of the one hundred and twenty creates a different chemical. When it's added in a particular amount, it creates a particular effect that is different from the same chemical at a different volume." Emair spoke holding out a leaf. He was the one who would explain some procedures while Jakhyer performs then. Or Jakhyer would be the one who hands out samples while Emair describes.

The importance that every alchemist should know and remember the effect of each and every herb and when and how to use to them to yield the best outcome possible, can't be stressed enough.

Reason being these herbs can be used to create remedies for thirteen types of situations , also known as the triskaidecagon of cultivation .

That is just a headache on its own but it's the ability to work with migraine -inducing concepts that makes one the best in the field of cultivation.

Generally speaking,all approaches from chemical to weapon aim for the same thing but chemical is more effective due to incredible calculated execution.

In chemical cultivation, the use of a chemical substances can create a very powerful effect on the opponent due to targeted approach .Like how a doctor gives unique medication for a particular type of ailment . The only drawback would be to identify which chemical is the right one but that becomes easy with time

A weapon cultivator on the other hand, will beat up any creature of bad energy using his weapons. The concentration of their qi will help in doing so. But that is blind attacking. Like just telling the patient to try eating healthy or exercise or sleeping more, in order to defeat their sickness

In conclusion, in contrast, for weapon cultivation it is important to develop the network of meridians so that one has enough strength to beat up anything. Whereas in chemical cultivation, it's important to study the enemy so as to find the best tactic to destroy him instead to ' aimless fighting ' as most wolves put it.

Even if this is the case the alchemist still have to improve their meridians and fitness because delivering a chemical to a deranged demon is not the same and will never be the same as handing over a pill to a patient. They have to do a little bit of fighting and it is probably then that they pick up some traits of their enemy that they can use to find a chemical remedy

Back to the triskaidecagon of cultivation, this outlook is only practical in chemical cultivation so instead at weapon cultivation they have an octagon of cultivation as there are things in the weapon cultivation that can't be achieved . This also just shows just how much alchemist cultivators are important because without them, other types of cultivation won't be possible. That also means that the other arms of the polygon are solemnly founded by chemists but as of recently they are trying to incorporate that into weapon cultivation.

To break down, the polygon is divided depending on the result desired to be achieved. For example there is purification and stabilizing. The latter means that sometimes the core of a demon can be fired up so much so that it is capable of doing extraordinary things to which it's close to impossible for cultivators below the gold intermediate or silver core to handle. As such it is important to try and mercilessly tame or stabilize the creature to be able to control it. And this involves the use of the most paralytic chemicals.

It's worth noting that the silver core is not popular therefore there are not many creatures like that that have been successfully tamed. So there is not much knowledge about such creatures just that it's better to be safe than safe and security comes from proper stabilizing cultivation. Credit to the lack of knowledge, there is no perfect drug ,only concussions that kept getting refined to improve each effect. And they work fine.

Purification is the ultimate of the ultimate. The main point of all cultivation practice and also the most famous exercise as it is the most basic. A lot of books , remedies and approaches exist for purification cultivation. This is because whenever a cultivator executes cultivation , their goal is to either destroy or purify it. And because it's not that easy to 'destroy' energy , they can only change it from the black form to the form that's just fine floating around.

Though it sounds pretty simple because of the knowledge surrounding it , it is very tedious exercise. It's not a switch where one can just decide to change the programming of the energy.

This is also where the meridians of the cultivation comes in. They have to use their energy to build a dome around the creature and then deliver the chemicals around the enclosure . Then they have to find a filtering point or density through which the substance can seep into the seal and acess the creature. Only after that will it drain into their core.

It is without a doubt that the cultivator has to be stronger that the creature to properly contain it otherwise the bad energy might overpower them and the result is palpable..
