Though this book doesn't explain it clearly,it states that spirit immortals found that the alpha wolf is the most formidable in the entire kingdom of the animals and for one reason.

At the time it was also just thought that wolves have a high durability especially alphas but the reason why this was, so was still unknown. Anyway that's why wolves were chosen to be spirit creatures and when wolves gave their vital energy to human, the humans took the inbound form of a wolf, making them werewolf

As they continued living, the animal part of them was consequently passed down to their children. Inevitably as many animals moved their cores to humans , there were more children that were being born at this point as cross-animal.

The thing about the wolf gene is that there is no co-dominance and suppression, only prominence . If one of the parents had a small percent of wolf all the offsprings would be wolf and the lineage goes on like that.And so it's really not a gene that can be turned off and it seems like it would exist forever.

The question however, would be who was giving these spirit creatures the vital energy to the point of them having to in the end would transfer the core back to humans. Why not just directly give it to humans, Would it not be better and a lot more efficient to do that?

Well , a long time ago, the head of the sect of the cultivation needed to be stronger than anyone and that meant reaching levels as great as Spirit immortal. This is was the only highest level back then because cultivation was popular and everyone who could would ,thereby ending up in the top tier levels of Earth immortal and the like. When and if aspiring sect heads reached that level, only then can the assume sect master position . If the current one wanted to maintain their position, that was the requirement set by the celestial court.

Because of this reason those who were affected realised one grave truth, that they had to shed physical form and what was not mentioned is that it is highly possible for some cultivators to never wake from that such as the possible of falling into water and drowning.One needs to know how to swim and similarly one would need to now how to make a connection whilst unconscious.

Anyway that scary reality made them wound up looking for a solution to remove the curse yet still be powerful. The best denouement was transferring the core to the animals . They would send the animal in the ten year phase and keep providing it with energy as the animal can't outright cultivate themselves. So to insure that they wake up from the phase, it became consistent. Once degenerative phase is complete ,they have a spirit creature .Having a spirit creature was incredibly difficult so the ones who own them were consider praise-wotty. That being said, the beast master can remain in the earth realm until of course they die after two hundred years and similarly the spirit creature will begin its journey to the yellow springs . They would start to weaken because the creature would have no one to influx it with energy .

The original theory goes on to state that spirit creatures are in somewhat of entanglement contract to the human, their bodies are sort of the same thing. Be that the case they never summoned to the celestial court so they remain as earth creatures. And when their time span dies out, their core energy which has been shrinking softly over time reaches a point where the core loses its paraselene.

This means that the core can be so inactive that it can be moved to a child. But since humans would not want the core roaming around and its posseser previously being a sect head, a chosen human accepts the transplant of the animal s core and with that transplant they gain the ability to shape shift from their form to the animal form.With time as they cultivate, they would wake the animal core getting them promoted to the highest of their current core or to the next core level if they are already at intermediate.

Cultivators just thought it would be best to live two hundred years here than it would be to live for five in the celestial court

But things start to get out of hand when these wolves feed on human aura aka vital energy..

The non cultivators cannot feed their inner wolf by means of self consuming so they would go hunting for vital energy .

However they don't have to do this frequently because if they are wolf they don't have to feed on human vital energy ,just normal food is fine.

With time , a huge part of the population was half-animal and they were drinking their fellow residents. This lead to humans wanting to be separated from the 'parasites'.

That is the whole theory of evolution according to the books of cultivation.

So this cultivation school was built basically to teach beast how to cultivate because oddly enough when beasts and humans were separated, the practise of human cultivation became forbidden to avoid anymore creation of these beasts cross breeds

It has been forbidden, yes but since beasts are not humans they are exempted from that law.

Part of the reason why they created this school was so that the students learn how to create their own source of vital energy.

Even then when they succeed the energy is never as great as the humans apperantly. Energy is never just energy. Just as certain water taste different despite the belief that water should taste the same. Energy will taste differently when the prey is cross-breed

However these details are not fully disclosed to the beasts,, just that their ancestors had magical powers and they passed them down .

But the real main purpose of this school was to destroy magical creatures like who when they went out for vital energy drinking, they would end up harvesting the wrong kind of energy, called black magic or Yin energy.

This is confusing in the sense that , the book says it's only possible for spirit creatures to gain energy when their master is the source.

Well that is only true for pure spirit creatures. Half or quarter or else, they can go out to look for their own nourishment. If that is the case why are more spirit creatures feeding on the aura despite the belief that they should be fewer

The answer is in the other book for cultivation. These books seem to cover different topics when in fact they are add-ons of each other.

In yet other book it states that Yin energy is like a bitter drug. It is bad for the body but awfully addictive so that is basically it as far as the topic on Yin energy. Only described in five sentences within the over hundred page book.

Anyway all the disciples know and are supposed to know is anything that has Yin energy is very deadly and should be demolished .

There are still a lot of questions to ask but knowing alphas they probably won't care about that as much. Otherwise they would be flogging the library.

****(Five hours later)****

" this is the third case in three months", Kijad said.

He was sitting cross legged on his low laying study table.

Kijad s room is a bit like the disciples room but it's a lot more classy

His study zone is directly opposite the door. There are several shelves in his room but there are still the same size as the ones in the rooms for the disciples. On top of each shelf was a circle on circle shaped lantern and there were about six , one or two on each shelf.

To the left side of the study table is yet a large space that leads to the private bathroom. The bathroom has an in-built bath tub and its lantern cages are imbedded on the perimeter of the the tub. But there are still some oblong ones in the corners of the place. However the bathroom is closed off from the rest of the room by a long wall to wall, Fuji curtain .

To the right side of the study table there is a large white Shoji with a large moon shaped entry. The entry is then sealed with some lose light green drpes to offer seclusion to the sleeping portion of the room.

The isolated potion of the room is actually very similar to the rooms of the disciples. Except that the bed is larger and the lanterns are much more interesting. The interior decorat is more chic, with shades of brown, black and white.

" What is new?", Adrian responded . He was laying into of Kijad s bed facing to the ceiling. He was completely relaxed so much that his hair had changed colour to dirty-white. His hair can change color but no one knows that. Kijad is the only one who Adrian has ever let see his hair color. Though Kijad doesn't understand the mechanism behind his hair changing abilities, all he knows is that when ever Adrian comes to his quarters at night, he always lets his hair down and it changes color. Maybe it stays that way when he has it in a bun.

And right now he laid closing his eyes and his strands where scattered all over the bed. Kijad could partly see his face through the drapes and the view was gorgeous

He looked at the report .

"A female the age of thriteen was found scratching herself whilst eating the feathers of an owl. The female looked gaunty and dehydrated . When she transformed she picks at her tail and she begins to scratch it to. Tests prove it's not rabies",

Adrian chuckled at the last sentence but Kijad still continued to read it..

' a male child of age fourteen was found eating stones while hanging upside down on a tree. The male also looked gaunty and dehydrated. When he transforms some of his fur doesn't show. Tests prove it's not premature hair loss or old age'

Adrian chuckled again..

Kijad raised his eyes to the beauty behind the drapes who was still giggling with eyes closed

"Why are you laughing", He could not understand what was so funny. But Adrian laugh was on another level. Beautiful and smooth just as its owner

Kijad knows for a fact that this pale skin flower is devilishly gorgeous. His face, body, voice, hands everything is just perfect.. And to have Adrian come to him every night without fail is like a thousand wishes come to live at once. To top it all off, Adrian blesses his eyes by unfolding his petal like hair making him look like a white peacock. A scene that somehow manages to sneak into Kijad s thoughts every once in a while. But he doesn't mind the infrequency of that because he has the prototype in arm s reach

Honestly Kijad doesn't know what he did to have a personified form of Shangri la subjugate everything in his life.
