《Suffocate My love》Chapter 41

Despite Adrian training with the young cultivators, he is actually way far ahead of them. He has a golden core, an ultra supreme one for that matter just a few incredibly difficult sessions from moving to silver core. The sect masters don't know his level because he hides well enough, otherwise by virtue of the law of succession he would be their ruler. Any cultivator with a highest cultivation level becomes grandmaster who is sect head. But that's not what Adrian wants
Adrian grew up in this sect. Kijad s male relatives were the last to become sect heads. The last sect head had adopted Adrian when he was four and he taught him cultivation before he even knew how to say his name properly. And ever since then Adrian has been training to improve his skills . Therefore by virtue of earning experience from a young age, his cultivation reputation is quiet agile. And the fact that he began at a very young age from a reputable practitioner means a lot
All sect masters think that he is accelerating too fast through the cultivation level and at this rate he is sure to surpass Kijad, which they assume he must be somewhere between medium and intermediate gold.
According to them , at the rate that Adrian is going, Kijad must at the same momentum but Kijad is taking things a little slow for one reason.Adrian would have to cultivate really long and hard to reach where Kijad is if he is to succeed the sect head position. Because Kijad could already far surpass everyone in his core strength that he might have inherited or had transplanted to him from his relatives. Which also means they gave him a powerful one and the only way for that to be possible is if he is equally as powerful as well.

And if the above is not the case, then Kijad would have to be really egotistic to remain in the running position for sect head. After all , the ultimate rule still applies. For Kijad to break it , he would have the guts to bring shame to the previous sect masters as well as his family. The shame that they let an unqualified offspring to succeed the position, the dishonor that they don't obey the rule that maintains order and they disregard a law that was decided by the celestial court. And according to the forbidden books, over looking anything like a law or a summoning from the supreme court is truly begging for the worst punishment , literally speaking. The celestial court does not joke around and will not show mercy under any circumstance.
So if they are right and Adrian were to fight them without holding back, he would surpass them . If that day ever comes , the shame that would be fall them would be a boundless insult
And since they can't just outright order either Adrian or Kijad to stop cultivating, something has to be done.
Anyway that is that
The wolves stood up and as they did , their bodies did feel very sore. Indeed they had been sitting for far too long. Thankfulky simulation gives paralysis otherwise they wouldn't have been able to sit for the next five days
All the wolves started to praise each other and they were laughing and celebrating. They chanted each other's names.
But the light of the room was Syin as he was congradulated for his super charged weapon. Joln and Valian were congradulated for many things. And Adrian for his tactful management. But more often Syin would get the attention. Though what he did could have been done by anyone, it takes some great concentration to charge a silhouette that much

Joln walked over to Adrian and he patted him on the head. He then smiled and said he had done a good job. And then he pretended to sob saying that Adrian reminds him of himself when he was young.
Valian emerged behind him and he hit him on the head. As Joln turned , Valian placed his hand on his houlder, he knocked him on the forehead and told him if he is that old he should stop bothering the youth
" Go save your cousin before they start to offer him bizzarre things", Joln adviced so that he doesn't have to punch Valian .They are probably praising him too much because he is the prince and for that reason he will bare it all despite how unnecessary he thinks it is
As soon as Valian left to go to Syin, Herim ran over to Joln . He pulled his arm like a toddler
" Very good job. I knew you were amazing", he said while smiling and he proceeded to pull Joln out of the room . He was blabbering about Joln needing to eat a well cooked meal because he just did an exceptional thing..
Everyone stepped out the pavilion and headed for the kitchen stations.
Adrian looked at his hand and he begun to massage it , he cramped a little but it would be fine in due time.
Now he knows why he has a white ribbon. Kijad had Herim give it to him because if Yoro saw that he would give Kijad a mouthful about conspiring with the enemy. The white ribbon is used to bound some physical demons to stop them from using their qi. He gave Adrian this ribbon so that his power is muted a little. Otherwise Adrian would have blew up the simulation with his vital energy.
The expensive artifacts would be ruined yes but this sect has enough money to buy ten thousand more. So that is not the reason why he had Adrian use this ribbon.
To be honest, Kijad doesn't want to believe that Adrian is the greedy cold-hearted leech they are hinting him to be. And as such there is no way that he could be waiting to take the position.
He has been with Adrian to know that Adrian is the most white lotus entity in this universe. Futile things like wealth are not things that would grab his attention.. Not now, not ever

He makes friends and loyal companions along the way, unfortunately, he also attracts the attention of powerful galaxy-spanning organisations that want to use his power for their own nefarious purposes. Forewarning regarding the start of the story. This story contains graphic descriptions of violence. The first few chapters of the book focus mostly on characters experiences and state of mind. The protagonist doesn't start off as a hero, he's distressed, confused, scared and struggling for survival. LitRPG elements are sprinkled throughout these chapters but aren't initially at the forefront of the story. If you're willing to persevere, the LitRPG elements and significant progression become more heavily intertwined with the story as they become more relevant. Thank you. *** What to expect *** This is a Fantasy Adventure LitRPG. There’s gore, swearing, bad jokes and lots of struggling. (I like to make the character earn his power.)Book 1: Covers the characters' experiences in becoming accustomed to this new reality. There are chapters that focus on survival and hardship. He starts with literally nothing, gradually he accumulates incredible power. He achieves his power through completing various trials and encounters in his journey to find out who he is, and what he wants in this world. There’s a focus on the mental state of the protagonist and an alternating pace of writing to allow character development to occur. The planned second book will kick off at a much faster pace with more action, focus on the system, and delving into the purposes of the Grand trial assigned to the main protagonist.I aim to deliver a world with Interesting characters, Monsters, Magic, Epic battles, Levelling, System interaction, Skill creation, Trials (Quests), Dungeons, Training and more. *** Release ****Chapters will be around 2000-3000+ words long, averaging 2.5k. I’ve almost finished the first book and am trying to edit and polish the chapters that are being released.I aim to release 3-5 chapters a week. Please enjoy.

The 48 Laws of Power in Practice
Discover how power works in the world, through true stories and real-world applications. In the game of power, we all play - as either conscious or unconscious players. So we can't afford not to know the rules. The ** chapters have the most outrageous content. In each chapter, I will be summarizing one of the laws and how it can be applied to current events and pop culture. Some of you have told me the stories are what you enjoy the most. They are real, raw, and anonymous so that others may learn from my mistakes. There will be cringe-worthy stories of self-sabotage, but perhaps also some unlikely triumphs. Some of the details are changed to protect the innocent, (or perhaps guilty). "The 48 Laws of Power" by Robert Greene illustrates truths about power, through philosophy and lessons from three thousand years of history, which still hold true today. There is a lot to learn from each chapter. I encourage you to go on this journey with me by reflecting on how each law might apply to you. Together, may we learn from the past and take control of the future.
