That was strange. Ryle just speed rushed here from wherever he came from, got dismissed and when Mlya mentioned Joln, it's like he completely forgot about the cold-shoulder that Syin just gave him..

In that instant, a wolf bark echoed in the direction of Valian and Joln.That was the other pack members arriving at the field due to Mlya s call.

By command both of them turned their gazes.It's not that they were shocked, it's just that the bark caught them off guard.. Ryle paced over to the ledge of the room wall-less space and just as he was about to jump,Mlya interrupted him and asked why he is heading in that direction and he replied that he is going to help.. However Ryle realized that he couldn't jump from where he was because he would far away from the battlefield...Mlya was left confused as how exactly he intends to do that considering that he seems not to be carrying any weapons and no matter how close he is to Syin he is still an omega so his strength builds slower than other types of wolves.

Of course eventually he will get there however as of now being young both in strength and physique he is really fragile and the things outside are the very opposite of delicate.So any prolonged action or too much force exerted at one go will wear him out faster than the jolt from a bee sting.His body has not adapted to the wolves way so he doesn't retain energy as great as alphas nor betas.This is why he tends to fall asleep frequently and Syin tells him to stop that.Syin does know he is an omega, it's just fun to yell at him for sleeping too much because of the face he has when he is sleepy.

He then retreated and ran out through the main entry.As he made his way there , he looked like he had confidence that he is going to slay those beasts.. Maybe he has a secret weapon that Mlya does not know ff but whatever the case it better be effective otherwise he is going to wish he had gone after Syin instead

He blast open the doors and steeped out

There were about six wolves on the field and a swarm of black smoky figures. But mostly as they were fighting he spotted the Earth-cracking Jian spinning in the air above the scene.That means that there is still energy in the sword and it won't consume a great deal when it's summoned.At this point , some wolves were getting tired of fighting this futile war ..Ryle rushed to the first step and as he stood there he raised his hand into the air summoning the great prince alpha s diabolical Jian.

The wrap-around leather around his left forearm glowed gold as is the HanZi on Syin s sword.He looked at his hand to confirm that it was glowing.Obviously when summoning a weapon, one doesn't have to look at a certain sign but in the case of Ryle, there are three reasons.First this is not his weapon so he hasn't mastered its mechanism.Meaning strange jolts of his muscles that he would want to overlook could be the Jian communicating to him.Second if he makes a cognitive connection, the sword will require a huge lot of energy which he as an omega at his current level can't fuel or provide.Basically should he do that he would only be able to connect with it for ten minutes before dropping down drained.

The third reason is that whenever he summons a weapon that requires energy ,he can feel the energy get sucked out of his body but at other times the energy just leaves his body when the connection isn't even strong enough to manipulate.And this was the case right now, when he lifted his hand to the heavens he felt like he was carrying a mountain but that could just resemble the potential of Syin sword not the summoning being a sucess

Wthin seconds the sword was already launched at him and simultaneously , a smoky figure was headed his way.

Ryle quickly turned his attention to the smoky figure.He panicked a little because he had seen that these creatures have a strange way of dying and he can't use his body to fight it because he would just walk though it .As the figure was in between Ryle and the sword, he lowered his hand and the sword followed this motion meaning that it will change its course and will stake right through the figure.

Immediately when that happened, the figure poofed into thin air and the sword striked the ground to Ryle s side..That's when it hit him.Syin s sword magnifies energy and that could mean that the energy becomes so much that touching the sword could corrode the skin.In simpler terms , the sword becomes a flame simulation and it's simple logic that smoke will fade when fire is ignited..

As soon as he acknowledged that he looked over to the battle field and saw the wolves fighting hook and cranny despite them making the enemy s combat double if not quadripling it and at the same time halving their fighting effectiveness ratio let alone their combined fighting power.Wolves can be really slow at thinking sometimes.

Be that as it may, something made him cringe even more..He outstretched his hand once again to summon the sword that was burried in the ground..As the sword was coming towards him he pirouetted in the air , kicking the knife toward the battle field blowing up the smoky figure that was launching behind Joln.

As he did that, the next thing that Joln felt was a swooshing sound beside his ear and then the figure he was currently fighting get blown as it disappear into the air.He looked at the sword and instantly recognized it the minute his eyes identified it.Consequently, Ryle had killed successfully two figures that were threatening Joln s life ,all in one slash.Talk about usefulness.

Joln turned his head to look at who had sent the Jian almost slicing him but still grateful because he saved his life. As soon as he looked he found Ryle already joini to the war and manipulating Syin s sword...

How is he doing that?Better yet isn't that dangerous for him?

Before he could answer himself, knife had already set off from the ground and once again swooshed past him to Ryle s hand..

After he caught the knife, Ryle ran around the perimeter of the battlefield at lightning speed.As he ran he let the metallic tip of Syin s knife meet the ground and the juncture where the tip of the Jian met the ground, fire was established due to the friction

He dragged the tip around and that marked the fire trail..Joln watched but was confused what he was doing.

After Ryle had completed the circle, he looked back at Joln who was already staring at him.The sword in his hand was already ninety-five percent covered in a flame the last five percent being the handle.This flame was solely due to Ryle s energy fused with that of Syin and the friction that manifested when the two differently charged objects contacted.Surely there is no way that that sword could not be making a scar on Ryle s body.Why does he keep exerting so much force to keep up with alphas who are born strong and only get stronger as they grow?

They stared at each other as if they can't believe the presence of actions of each other.Joln does hate Ryle and that Ryle is very aware of so the fact that he saved him right now is contradicting his perception of the young omega.

"What are you doing?",Joln transmitted to him.They were looking directly at each other as everyone in the battlefield was trying to kill the somewhat malformed creatures.

Before Ryle could respond, a smoke figure lauched at for him. He lifted the flaming knife and sliced the figure effortlessly making it disappear into thin air.

Joln got the memo and broke his leering on Ryle .He ran over to the ring of fire that was about seventy centimeters of the ground, he lowered his blades on the fire and they ignited. Time to see if that works. Joln paced over to a couple of figures and he slashed them with the flame coated sheets of metal. All the other wolves saw this and they didn't need to be told twice what to do

Valian threw his bow on the ground besides him and he called his Shuriken .

He could sense that the star was coming and he stepped closer to the flame then lowered his arm so that the Shuriken could come hovering over the ground thus catching fire and that it did.

As soon as the shuriken was near his hand he lifted the hand to the sky and directed the shuriken ahead consequently slicing the smoke figure that was suddenly towering over him.The results was a poof , almost like a cloud of dust

Satisfied that this was effective , he once again moved his hands so that the star can go and dip in the flame . After successfully engulfing the star in fire, he launched it to another figure because they seemed to be getting agressive since they could tell in one way or the other that their kind are being obliterated.

Fighting with a single star is really slowing down and he thought of illuminating it but he wasn't sure if his illusion Shurikens will catch fire but there is only one way to find out.He simultaneously produced the illusions and sent them through the fire and they instead just flied through..

He gave up his efforts , he then summoned his arrow which he then started to use as a sword..

He set it on fire and started to slash the figures with it and when ever he finished slashing one figure, the shruken had killed another and he would catch it and send it hovering through the fire and set it off to the other figure..

The other wolves had weak weapons that turned to ashes whenever they brought them near the fire so they could only sit by and watch.. However that would be asking for death so they had to find some way to help..

One of the wolves transformed and lauched for the wall and as it did that, four figures trailed behind him. One wolf followed in suite by transforming into a beast.However it instead iumped towards the ring of fire and as it did that the figure followed it and midway, the wolf dodged and the figure fell directly onto the fire..
