《Tower of Erase》Kyra

"One of my men informed me that there was something strange occurring in this mountain."
The focused image grew closer into the top of the mountains and a thick hovering cloud of mist hung at the peak. It was difficult to discern what was under the mist. When the angle drew closer, it was like the mist gradually parted to show what was hidden in its midst.
From the view above, many tall white 'people' gathered around at the peak. They have snow pale skin with their bones shaping their figure. They have pointy ears, sharp canine tooth and hairless hair. Approximately, they are two meters tall with long thin legs and big feet.
They roam around the flat peak sluggishly. Like the souls not knowing where to go. Kyra studied them closer. These 'people' are approximately over hundred in numbers. They formed an arc, gathering around something that seems to be a very tall formation of ice crystal.
When the view gets even more closer, the ice crystal is actually an open ice castle. At the center stands a flat stage, on that stage there's an ice glass throne, and someone is sitting on it.
A man. A mortal man that wears shocking dark blue robes with black belt. In his forehead, a ribbon with dragon pattern is tied at the back of his head. His long silver hair is tied by a dragon ornament jade hairpin.
His eyes is as pale as his skin. It was so light it appears to be translucent. Silver hair, translucent eyes, dragon patterned clothes, it did not took the Fairy King and Twelve Elders a while longer to discern who it was.
The Twelve Elders' mouths hang wide open. Panic stricken, they unceremoniously scuttled around in their seats. The Fairy King stood up in his throne, sensing something wrong.

Kyra also sense something. She unsheathed her sword and pointed it at the image. The angle grew even closer and closer until they stand facing the man face to face.
The look on his face is blank to the point of being dead. His face muscles are so stiff, they can see the crack of his skin whenever he move his eyes around or open his mouth.
"How sneaky. Don't you fairy folk know how to respect territories?" The man suddenly asked. His voice is low and monotonous. Lacking any traces of emotion that each race who can speak and think usually have.
Instantly, everyone in the room freezes. The royal guards are quick in their wits and surround the Fairy king and the Twelve Elders, their swords brandishing as they face the man with dragon pattern clothes.
The Twelve Elders immediately scuttled behind the royal guards. Scared their lives are threatened by this new impending danger. The Fairy King, however, step in the center and his silver fur coat fall in his glass throne. His scepter shone dangerously red as he spoke.
"And what was a demon like you doing in our realm? Terrorizing our lands as you please? I'm afraid its you who does not know how to respect territories."
The man with dragon pattern clothes laugh with no humor. Then his eyes landed straight to the Fairy King. When his translucent eyes flash, everyone in the room freezes.
Blood spewed out of their mouths as invisible slash strike in the air, instantly freezing the walls and ceiling of the High Court. The Twelve Elders are eliminated immediately. Their limp cold bodies collapse on the floor unceremoniously.
Three fourth of the royal guards are also dead. Lester is about to add to that number if it wasn't for Kyra who stand on his path and deflect the slash strike to the side. The Fairy King obviously crush the strike before it gets near him. Making the royal guards who crowded around him saved and unharmed. Other than Kyra and Lester, they are the only ones around that are alive.

"I fancy this place, hence its my territory now. Puny king, speak like that to me again and I will kill every fairy on your precious Elven Croft Palace."
The veins on the Fairy King's temple almost pooped out. In anger, he grind his teeth and raise his scepter in the air, summoning the mana in the air and gather them inside the scepter. When the dangerous mana covered crystal blared bright red, he send the explosive mana directly to the man with dragon patterned clothes.
Kyra, watching from the sidelines, sensed something is amiss from the man's expression. He doesn't seem alarm and is laying back in his throne, totally relaxed and unfazed.
Kyra's bad feeling actually came into reality when the explosive mana swerved past the image of the man with dragon patterned clothes and come raining down on Kyra and Lester.
In that instant, Kyra flung out her lotus vines and immediately let it encase them both. The point of impact is so strong that Kyra was almost flung out of her position. But because of Lester's hand gripping firmly on her shoulder, supporting her in place, she was able to withstand the devastating impact and stayed safe.
When it was over, the lotus vines retracted, revealing the unscathed Kyra and Lester. Seeing this sight angered the Fairy King more.
He was taken aback how his attack never went through the man with dragon pattern clothes. He sent out another wave of explosive mana. But it just went pass through the man, and Kyra has to suffer the consequences.
Her arms started to hurt, her skin beneath is cracking and breaking. Blood covered her sleeves and shoulders. But the explosive power is two times stronger this time. And it made her waver, even when Lester is supporting her back.
When the mana blast finally recede, Kyra immediately collapsed on her knees. Breathing heavily. Watching her, the man with dragon pattern clothes chuckled dryly.
"I was thinking only the puny fairy king has reached the ethereal stage, I guess I was wrong. Little fairy girl, if only you exploit the powers of that lotus vines of yours and made use of its true capabilities, I believe you will be far more formidable opponent. Surpassing even the puny king and every fairy king recorded in your filthy history." he pause. His cold stealthy eyes studying Kyra.
Kyra let the lotus vines slither in her arms, instantly healing her wounds and as she stand, the cuts have already subsided. Healing her completely. The lotus vines crawled out of her palm, it lay straight in the ground as if she's holding a whip, throwing glare daggers to the man with dragon pattern clothes.
She watch how his translucent pale eyes widen and his white pale lips stretch in wild monstrous amusement. He tilted his head and said in an even creepy spine shivering tone.
"Ah, so that's it. You have finally made your appearance. I can't say I was surprised. Indeed, the time is about right. Puny king, you already know what I came here for. Hand over the Crystal seal and I will leave quietly. Since you have no use for this daughter of yours, I'll take her too. Silver bloom devouring lotus. Hehehehe, my master will certainly be pleased."

Mabel's boss dabbled in awfully questionable business for the owner of an herb store, and she never blinked when he had suspicious-looking visitors. On one particular Sunday, though, Mabel couldn't help but watch the man leaving Herman's office with a critical eye. It wasn't his impressive height, dark eyes, or shaggy hair that kept her curiosity piqued.Instead, it was the way the shadows seemed to collect around him, dancing under his feet as he walked and vanishing abruptly as soon as the door shut behind him. *****"Do not call me 'Death,' Little One." He reached a hand down to help her up, but Mabel swatted it away, standing on her own and scowling. "Don't call me 'Little One,' Death." She fired back, crossing her arms and straightening her back to look taller. "And, besides, you're the one who told me your name was Death, so what else am I supposed to call you?" The raspy growl that rolled from his throat didn't sound anything like a chuckle, but the slight smile on his face told her otherwise. "Aleron." ******He brings death to those deemed wicked, but sees her as an angel and vows that nothing will harm her under his watch.Highest Ranks: #1 in Littleone 8/7/2019#1 in Mystical 8/25/20; 9/2/20; 9/11/20; 6/13/21#1 in Mythical 9/25/20#1 in Devil 5/16/21#1 in Heaven 5/20/21#4 in Paranormal 8/25/20#1 in demon 8/7/22
