《The Zodians - Book 1: The Outlander》Prophecy

Perhaps, on this mourning Arglohandre, only that group of them remained - those standing in the rain here, who are the last to remain unyielding. Thirteen of them will continue to fight, even if they die, they will still work hard to destroy Lapunta. It takes them eight years to build an army, and this moment would be the moment when they would begin a great revolt. Will they live then? Or will they die? But if they should die, they swear to die when the chains on their necks are broken.
"The past is written by the future. The king shall fall off his throne by thirteen men who have not been born", that is the prophecy they always believe in, as the foundation for their revolt. The eight years they spent building the army, the same eight years they waited for that prophecy to come true. And they are looking at it, in a few moments they'll know if their eight years have been wasted.
A buzzing sound echoes in their ears, signaling something is to come. Immediately, right in front of them, a space-time portal opens, and out of it comes a family of three. The eleven people who have been waiting for them all this time know nothing but their expressions of emotion and joy. Those three people are Reind Domingo – the leader of this war, with his wife Victoria and son Jon. In it, Jon is the key to this battle. The boy has a special power. Somehow, he could feel the flow of time and mind, and he knows how to find the thirteen treasures. The moment they step out of that gate is the same time that thirteen treasures are found.
Victoria grips Jon's hand tightly, and Reind approaches the friends, quickly embracing each of them. Heindrich clasps his hand and asks with emotion:

"Prophecy?"
Reind smiles and replies:
“I believe everyone is ready to fight, right?”
Heindrich laughs, his voice rumbling like thunder:
"I'd love to grab his head and spin it around a few times!"
Jon lets go of his mother's hand and slowly walks over to them. He glances at the thirteen people in front of him preparing to launch a historic attack, but shows no emotion. He walks over and takes Megara Blanchet's hand and says:
“This is for you.”
Saying that, he raises his right palm and closes his eyes, and not long after that, a harp appears from the palm of his hand. The special harp is delicately sculpted and incredibly light, with strings that look like they are made of silk. Megara accepts the treasure with both hands, both reverently and stunned. She reaches out to touch every part of it, then tries to pluck the strings, but Jon stops her:
“I think you should go before that rock…”
Megara does not question anything and immediately walks over to the rock in the distance. She carefully points it towards the rock, gently plucking its strings. Her fingers only lightly touch it, then causes it to vibrate very slightly, but the damage from the treasure was truly devastating. From those soft strings, a shock wave is emitted, cutting the rock in front of them into two pieces without any pity. She is amazed to see the large rock now only half below, and the top is thrown into the distance. Megara tries to suppress her excitement, she wants to try the power of this weapon again. This time, she aims for the other half of the rock on the ground, then gently plucks it again. But other than a musical note playing in the air, nothing happened immediately. Everyone is looking forward to an even more epic performance. After a moment of no reaction, suddenly the rock moves. They see the rock suddenly shake. At first there are only very slight vibrations, the rocks around it only vibrate slightly. But then it all shakes more violently, as if… there was a conflict within that rock. Without warning, that rock suddenly explodes into hundreds of small pieces, splattering everywhere.

This is nothing more than a weapon of extremely destructive range. Holding that harp in her hand, both makes Megara a little scared, but at the same time makes her feel very strong. At this rate, even Lapunta would probably have nothing to fear, no need to mention the army of the undead.
"It's called Cellarelorn," the boy then looks at Herone, standing next to him, admiring Megara. Just like with Megara, he also comes to take her hand, then closes his eyes, from the palm of his hand appears a sword. "Parrosope chose you, take it."
Herone silently accepts the sword. Her hands lift the sword and feel a chill go down her bones, as if it were permafrost itself. She glances at the sword as a whole. The blade is thin and narrow, maybe half a knuckle. The tip of the sword is as sharp as a needle and has four notches forming a block, looking like two arrowheads joining each other. The hilt of the sword sparkles with metallic luster and is engraved with a dragon's head on the hilt's tail. Herone holds it firmly in her right hand, and immediately she feels a cold air cover her body, and she is filled with a terrifying power.
Herone is now looking forward to learning about the power of this sword. She looks around to find herself a battle plaque. Herone notices a tall rock to her right. This place to say is only rocks and nothing at all. She picks up momentum, then runs straight to the rock. When she is more than ten feet away from it, she throws Parrosope straight into the rock. The sword is thin and sharp like a hawk's point, and it immediately pierces the rock’s center. At that moment, from the spot where the heart is stabbed, ice crystals suddenly spread to cover the rock, which soon turns into ice completely. Herone is also running over at this time. She gently grasps the hilt of the sword and pulls it out, using the ground as a jumping-off point, then jumps up, landing the sword from above with a powerful blow. Immediately, the rock breaks into pieces of ice that fly everywhere. No one can recognize that it was originally a rock.

Hatred boils the crimson sea beneath the surface. All it takes is one wrong move- A plan to change the world.A bloody smile with an unspoken apology.A girl with bleeding hair in the monster filled mountains.A change in destiny. -for it to shatter. This is the story about the second war between nephlims and humans. This is the story of how everything ends. -- (21JUN2020 story will be active for another week, I unfortunately do not have a backlog so I can't extend my chapter updates until another port call. I do not know when the next port call will be so I will be on another Hiatus for an undetermined amount of time. Scribblehub is not blocked on my work computer so I will be able to update my story on that website. It can be found here.) This story is a draft, I'll be doing my best to update monthly; work might get in the way of that so some update might be delayed an extra week or so. There will be roughly 31 chapters in total (I have the entire plot written down for the first book and the overall plot written down for the entire series.). (Summary is also a WIP and will change later to better fit the story. Any advice on how to write a summary for multiple POV's would be amazing)

Author's Thoughts: What is litRPG (From wikipedia) - LitRPG, short for Literary Role Playing Game, is a literary genre combining the conventions of MMORPGs with science-fiction fantasy novels.[1] LitRPG is a literary genre where games or game-like challenges form an essential part of the story. A LitRPG work simultaneously narrates the story of characters inside and outside of the game-world. At least some of the characters in a LitRPG novel therefore understand that they are playing a game: they are 'meta-aware'. So, while Tolkien's Lord of the Rings is a fantasy novel, a book about people creating avatars and interacting in a Lord of the Rings MMORPG would be a LitRPG novel. Why do I read them? You know, I am not too sure. I love MMOs. I played them, quit them, joined up and repeated the cycle. They are fun! They are a massive waste of time but so are most games. Do I want to read about someone else playing them? Sort of?The advent of VR and the possibility of VR someday becoming so immersive that you can't tell them from reality sets the imagination on fire. What if this could be life? But most stories fall short. At the end of the day the protagonist hangs up his VR helmet and goes to have dinner with his mom and dad or other family and it becomes meaningless. It's like the story that ends because the main character woke up and nothing you read matters. There have been some books that explore the concept of the intersection of reality and total immersion VR. Enders Game is a classic. There were a few others that escape me but they exist, however, the cross between the game and reality is weak.So what if the game was real? The technology needed for total immersion VR is so advanced that by the time we reach that goal technology should have naturally evolved to include several items. You must have direct neural input. You simply can't have a total immersion (all senses and perfect presence) experience without this basic prerequisite. If you have direct neural access, you can probably do neat things like feed knowledge and skills directly to that person. You can undoubtedly do many horrible things as well. Muscles are controlled by the brain. If you control the brain why would you let the body just sit there and rot? A person that sits unmoving for 24 hours a day will have their body whither away just like a coma patient. However, if you control the brain you could control the muscles. On a basic level, this would be isometric impulses, working muscle group against muscle group to avoid atrophy. Taken to its logical conclusion you would be able to gain muscle mass and program muscle memory. The flip side is that you could remote control their body... but let's not go there. So what would people do if it were real? Well, they would probably limit and regulate it since the drawbacks are very obvious. Even if you look at the basic aspects of this you can see some negative possibilities. Look at the Sword Art Online anime. Personally, I think they missed the boat by putting a bomb in the VR helmet. Do you really need a bomb when you have direct access to the brain? So what kind of events would you need to have a situation where the obvious drawbacks haven't been explored? Maybe a society where the advancement of technology has so far outstripped the explorations of its applications that ignorance was truly bliss? Okay, so I had to put in an alien invasion to kickstart the premise, but that was just one of the possibilities.
