《Philosophers corner》The wizard

There was a child born between two deserts

Early in the morning and surrounded by the powerful figures. This child was brought to many distances near and far often and seldom with his creations. This child would become The Wizard.

The wizard was seldom fit for understanding early in the story of his life however, he was also seldom alone for the crows would crowd around watching, waiting and generally casting their die and tricking those around. The crows would hover and float and flit around the alcoves the wizard would need to fit into every few weeks, for this wizard needed to escape the monsters that would ensue.

The wizard was alone as he often spoke a mantra:

“I know precisely what you mean. You’re a lot like how I feel most days. The walls feel enclosed, but the music will flow out of me and somedays I feel like a dam blew out when I speak to humans, and I’m painfully proficient with that. They calls us solitaries”

Wanderers, scholars, questioners, solutions seekers, pathfinders, way-makers. The wizard child was destined for greatness, given tools of many trades and magic tricks to guide the loft and lorn Lord of the desert.

For he has seen the canyons and valleys of red stone, the jungles and swamps the blizzards of olde. He has witnessed sin and misery bundled up in denial and ignorance, watching many suffer in silence with age and without question. Those watching the moving pictures fade the fastest for their minds are trapped but their body still runs with the wheel oiled bones born to work and fester. The wizard has climbed, skirted and hustled his ass through dastardly cliff faces and mud holes. The wizard still seeks knowledge, through these understanding and keepsakes the man grows and his awareness blooms and blossoms like honeydew on a misty evening. He grows patient, and weary, full of strange hope in bursts and waves.

The wizard takes what he can, and gives what he can. The wizard walks through the woods and seeks enlightenment. The wizard will notice and observe. He’ll greet with shining eyes, awoken and aware of the sounds of the soul beneath the skin. The wizard will walk in pathways walked by wakes of individuals. The wizard will see the world through a scope, every detail and every perspective breathed in through the nose and out through the mouth as if parsing through the alcoves of colors and waves of emotion humans have been graced with. The wizard knows what makes and what can un-make us.
