After reconsidering for a while Silver, decided to build a small shabby house beside the forest. He was currently seated, sipping his tea when he felt a sudden force coming toward him. 'This is an aura of an expert? Why would someone like that come to look for me by this forest?' Silver was even more intrigued when the aura when past him.
"This is the first time I've been ignored. Hehe, let's see what you're up to." The reason for this was because Silver had let his aura out to attract the unknown force. To his surprise, the unknown force wasn't here for him, but something else. Silver got up from his chair and flew toward the figure.

Meanwhile, Reynold was flying home and unexpectedly felt a powerful aura. At first, he thought it was an enemy, but he quickly dispersed that thought since many experts are still here searching for Zin.
Reynold arrived in front of his house and set up several arrays before entering. The arrays that he set up were invisibility ones that were coupled with many traps. With this, unless a purple soul expert came, no one would be able to see the house.
By now, Silver had already arrived and was watching Reynold set up the array with great interest. 'These aren't normal arrays that can be found anywhere...' Seeing how Reynold could set it up in such a short amount of time was surprising even to Silver.
Sigh...
'Such a pity that you met me today.' Silver walked into the arrays like it was nothing, he didn't destroy it, but rather modified it. The array was still active, but Silver could still walk through it with ease. 'Hm? A four-year-old boy that had already awakened?! Haha!' Reynold and Erza were alarmed by the sudden laughter and were quickly greeted by the sight of an old man with a long white beard.
Silver was laughing so hard that his white hair was fluttering in the air. 'I thought I would've had to wait for a few years! But I found him on the same day!' Two people dashed out of the room, and they prepared several spells for Silver.
"Hahaha. Young ones I'm not your enemy you can lower your guard." Both Reynold and Erza knew that if Silver wanted to kill them, they would've been dead by now. "Elder, may you please explain why you barged into our home?" Reynold was still cautious since Silver's identity was still unknown to them.
"Hmm, where should I start... Oh right! Your son was the one that triggered that phenomenon right?" Silver watched their expression grow wary. At this remark, Reynold was even more sure that this old man had came here for his son. "What if I say no?"

"Hahaha! There's nothing to worry about I'm not just gonna snatch his away from you. I'm here to make an offer."
"An offer? Why would we accept it? Especially so, from someone with unknown origin." Erza was furious at the thought of an offer to trade her son away.
"Ah right! I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Silver Waygrif. One of the 10 current Grand Elders" Both Reynold and Erza were speechless after hearing his claim. 'One of the 10 Grand Elders?!' Everyone knows that a single grand elder needs to be at least a purple soul. "I know you're smart enough to know what I want right?"
"Reynold! We can't! That's our son, He's barely just 4 it's too soon!" Erza was heartbroken at the thought of Zin leaving at such young age. Meanwhile, Reynold was in deep thoughts.
"How about this. We'll wait till Zin wakes up and decide." Silver nodded with excitement. 'So your name is Zin...' Silver stayed seated at the table and quietly sips his tea. 'How should my first lesson be... No, he's too young, if I throw him in the forest right away he'll surely die.' Silver's first disciple was only 15 when he took him in meanwhile, Zin was only 4!
"Also, isn't your turn to introduce yourselves?" Till now Reynold and Erza had both forgotten about this matter.
"I'm sorry, we were too shocked about this. Her name is Erza Scotfer, and my name is Reynold Bladesworth. Please don't mention our last name to Zin when you meet him." Reynold said with caution.
"So your one of the Bladesworth... It's fine, I understand your circumstances. You two can go back and watch him now." Silver had an understanding look on as he look at the two. 'So that's why an expert like him was hiding in this remote place...'
The night quickly went by as Reynold and Erza were discussing about Zin's future. Silver was still seated with his eyes now closed. Suddenly Zin woke up with confusion as to why he was back at his home.
'Oh no! I got caught! Mom's never gonna let me out by myself again now.' Zin lamented while walking toward the table, that was usually waiting for him with food. Now instead of food, there seated an old man with a long white beard. 'Who is this?!'
Silver opened his eye and caught a young boy with deep black eyes looking at him. Zin's parents were already beside Zin by now. They looked deeply at their confused son. "Zin. Kneel down." Zin was caught surprised at what his parent was saying. 'Is this my punishment? But, why would they make me do it in front of an elder?'

"From today on out, this will be your teacher." Zin was flabbergasted when he heard this. 'Teacher? Is this elder gonna teach me? But who is he? Is this my punishment?' While Zin was pondering, Silver was also surprised by how decisive the two were, he thought that they would at least ask the child about his decision.
'Seems like they're in rush. Well, it's indeed strange for them to stay here any longer at a remote house like this.' Silver was in an extremely good mood right now, since everything had been going in his favor. The confused Zin soon knelt down in front of Silver, waiting for more instruction.
"Hahaha! There's no need for such a thing. Here, put on this ring, then you'll be my second and last disciple." Zin looked at his parents, but they had their eyes closed, meaning that it was up to him. 'This elder seems to know a lot. If I followed him, won't I also benefit?' Zin thought about the benefit he could get.
"I just need to put the ring on?"
"That's right. Put it on, and you'll be my disciple starting from now on." Zin looks at the ring for a bit before putting it on his index finger. The ring was purple with tiny red strokes on it. "This is the ring I personally crafted from a body of a Crimson Thunder Bird." The confused Zin looked over at his parents, waiting for an explanation.
"Crimson Thunder Bird, are fierce creatures that can rival a white soul expert at a young age. When they matured, they can grow up to as much as 5 feet tall. If you ever see one you can differentiate its strength by the color of its wing."
Reynold thoroughly explained to Zin as he waited patiently for him to finish. Silver was surprised at the amount of knowledge that Reynold had. Silver was actually the one to name the Crimson Thunder Bird when he was out traveling. It was only 5 years ago when he encountered the bird.
"The color of their wing corresponds to its core and the lighter it is the more dangerous." Zin turned curious when he realized that Beast is ranked by their core, while humans were ranked by their soul.
"Alright, say your farewell we'll leave right away." Silver got up and went outside leaving the speechless Zin behind.
"Dad, Mom, what did he mean by farewell? Are you guys not coming with me?"
"Zin, we have to leave you for quite some time. During this time be a good boy and listen to Silver. He's a Grand Elder if you do good, you'll even surpass him!" Reynold tries to comfort the crying Zin that was now in his embrace. Erza soon joined in.
"I'm sorry Zin, we don't have much time to explain much to you. You'll know what you want to know when you get stronger." The only reason why Erza and Reynold decided to leave Zin to Silver, was because he was the most trustworthy one out of the 10 Grand Elder. One of Reynold's assistants had also once mentioned that Silver never worked with any other elder nor interfere with them.
"Really? If I do get stronger will I be able to see you guys again?" One must remember that Zin was still only a 4 years old child. The sudden breakup was too much for him to handle.
"Haha, yes my child, but right now focus on making new friends and getting stronger. Only when you're strong you can change things!" Reynold exclaimed as he patted Zin. "Also even though we never told you, we're also one of the awakened!" Zin was less surprised this time since he had already known by now.
"When will we meet again?" Zin was still reluctant to let them go. If he can, he would rather go with them instead of Silver.
"When the time is right, I'll come to find you, my son. Now, it's time to go with your teacher. Make sure to listen to him!" Zin made his way to the door with tears as he struggle to not look back at his parents. It had only been four years since he was born, yet he was already forced to leave them.
"Oh! You're here already. I expected it to be longer, but I guess this will work." Silver took Zin's arm and vanished leaving only Reynold and the crying Erza.
"Is this really for the best?" Erza said with tears.
"Yes, we can't let him suffer, because of our past. This is also a good opportunity for him." Reynold was using all his will to not burst into tears as he responded. To him, Zin was his blooded son, and even if they had only been together for four years. Those four years that they've been together are precious core memory to Reynold.
"Erza, It's not like we're never going to see him again. So let's finish them off quickly and go back to Zin!" Reynold comforted her.
"You say that, but you know this battle will be a long and bloody one..."
"No matter how hard the battle will be, we'll win!" Reynold said with resolve as he looked at where Zin disappeared. Soon, only the table and memory were left, after Reynold and Erza went toward one of the five main provinces of the Human domain, Lastian.
