《Story Ideas and Beginnings》Summoned Demon

I stare at the creature in front of me, it was big, big enough that I would not be able to devour it in one bite.
At least four, maybe five bites were needed to get the job done. With this thought I open my maw and reveal hundreds of sharp fangs and a blood red tongue.
Thin, transparent strings of salvia connect my upper and lower jaw as I open it as wide as I can to finish the meal as fast as possible.
I take a step closer to the creature and bow down a bit to reach the suspected head of the creature.
In the midst of my movement I suddenly hear a loud shout from my left.
"Stop that!"
The voice was high, soft and… kinda nice to hear, this confuses me a bit, it is nothing like the usual threatening growls, barks, hissing and screeching that I'm familiar with.
Curious about the creature who owns this voice I turn my head and stare at the figure near the wall to my left.
It looks very similar to the one which I was just about to eat, but even bigger. Surprise and shock freeze me in place, the creature seems to be the same size as me.
I have never meet anything that could match me in size, even the biggest of my prey only reached half.
The creature has long black fur on top of its head, light and soft looking skin and glowing green eyes.
Green eyes?...
I stare at the creature for a moment longer till finally a familiar figure starts to overlap with it.
It was the figure of abyssal black bird with bone head and claws, green eyes shine in the skull like head of the bird, the exact same green eyes as the creature with the nice voice.

The black bird is a companion who has accompanied me for a long time, at our first meeting I thought he was trying to attack me, so I attacked first and ate one of his wings.
To my surprise, immediately after that, he collapsed into a black mass and reappeared a distance away completely healed.
I left him be after that as I confirmed that he didn't possess a threat to me… and maybe because he didn't taste good.
It was as if you ate a cloud with a few weak sticks in it, I prefer meatier prey, ones with lots of tasty liquids inside them.
Anyway, the bird then continued to follow me for a very long time and accompanied me through a lot of adventures.
Strings of transparent salvia slowly drip from my still wide-open maw onto the ground where it starts to sizzle and burn.
"You seem to have recognized me, if you are finished staring maybe you would be so kind to close your mouth, you are making holes into the floor." The creature with the black birds green eyes says in its nice voice.
With a snaping sound I close my mouth and straighten my back to regain my full height.
Wait a moment?!!
Straighten my back? I never straighten my back!
I lower my vision and look the rest of my body, there are four limbs in total and a torso who most likely has a head attached at its top.
…
…
WHAT HAPPENED TO MY BODY?!!
I start to shake as if I had a seizure attack as I finally realize to strange my current body was.
My movements are restricted by what I identify as bones and organs, with the latter come multiple disturbing functions like the waste disposal hole or the need to breath.

I seriously don't understand why someone needs more than one hole where one can just throw everything inside.
"Calm down, I know that it is very strange to suddenly change bodies, but it is very easy to control and get used to it."
The nice voice pulls me out of my seizure like shaking and my mind snaps back into place.
The bird is right, it is very easy to control this new body I already did it before even without realizing that it had changed
