"Don't worry about them. Let's investigate first. There is still one day left for the next game." I said directly. Wei nodded and said, "of course, boss. You've been investigating for so long, and you must have a clue?"
"The clue is a little, but it's not complete. With the current valid clues, we can't find the real murderer." I said.
I vaguely felt that old man, who burned the boiler, and the girls' dormitory might find some clues. But I didn't say that. Because this is only speculation.
"There must have been something unknown in this school. Let's investigate it carefully. Maybe we can find the real murderer." I said seriously.
"By the way, since the school deliberately conceals. But there must be records in the school file. The school must have documents in this regard." Wei suddenly said.
His proposal brightened our eyes, but then I shook my head: "the problem is, how can we find it? There are people on duty in the school archives every day."
"By the way, you can go in when you lock the door at night." Wei suddenly said.
"This is not good idea." Wen Zhu beside him hesitated.
"Why not? There must be something in the school archives. Maybe we can find the truth." Wei said.
"It depends on the situation." I said, but in my heart, I still secretly wrote down this method. Indeed, as Wei said. Something must have happened in the school before, but it was deliberately forgotten by everyone.
Since we can't ask from these school staff, maybe we can find the answer from the school file. But it's not a good thing to go to the archives in the middle of the night.
"We'll talk about this later. Let's go to old man." I said to Wei . Wei nodded, and then the four of us came to old man's residence.
"we came to see you again." I casually walked in and said, in our hands, we also brought some fruits and drinks. Even Wei bought several bottles of wine.
These are all necessary conditions to please the elderly
It's summer now, except to burn some hot water. old man doesn't need to burn a boiler. So now he is sitting outside in the sun, smoking dry tobacco in his mouth.
Seeing our arrival, old man had no waves on his face. Just looking at the wine in our hands. Finally moved his body.

"Hehe, Come on in" He greeted us into the room with a smile. After we entered the room, we put down the things in our hands, and then smiled and said, "old man, in addition to coming to see you, we still want to ask you something."
"I really have nothing to tell you." old man's dark palm waved, and his face was a little impatient.
"It's all right. We came to see you, too." I smiled and winked at Wei . Then Wei hurriedly handed a pack of cigarettes to old man and lit a cigarette for him.
"Not bad." old man squinted as he smoked.
"And wine, old man, how about a drink." I picked up Erguotou with a smile and said.
"What time is it now? What kind of wine?" old man looked at me and said.
"old man, you are so old that you don't even have a wife. What can you do without drinking?" I said with a smile. But it made old man's face unhappy.
"You're right. I'm fifty-seven and don't even have a wife." old man said with a sad face. But I hurriedly said, "I was just kidding. Don't take it seriously."
"Hum, don't you just want to ask, what happened to the whole school before?" old man looked at me disdainfully, and then began to drink again.
I know my plan succeeded. old man is so old, but he is still single. You must be lonely when you are free. Around his house, there are bottles of Baijiu everywhere. This shows that he likes to drown his sorrows with wine.
That's why I deliberately said that. old man really fell into the trap and began to drink. Wei and Hong beside him also began to persuade him to drink according to my eyes.
old man began to drink, and his drunkenness became stronger and stronger. The sound is also vague. He began to tell us his story.
"When I was in my twenties, I came to this school to burn a boiler. At that time, I worked steadily. The salary was also good. But just because this job was disgraceful, I couldn't find a wife. It wasn't until I was thirty that I finally found one."
"Her name is Cui Hua, which is also good for me. I can count on finding a woman who knows cold and hot. But that day, she came to school to see me, but suddenly died." old man started to cry when he said this.

And my face changed slightly, and I asked hurriedly; "How did Cui Hua die?"
"One day, she suddenly jumped from a building, and I don't know why she jumped out of the building. But the police said she committed suicide. When she jumped out of the building, there was no one around. Finally, the school compensated me 100000, even if it was over." old man said, and took a sip of wine.
"So your wife died for some reason?" I asked.
"Yes, I don't know why she jumped from a building. I was also very good to her at that time. If she really didn't want to live with me, it would be OK to divorce. Why did she jump from a building? all People said that I deliberately forced her to death. As a result, I still can't find my wife." old man said with a wry smile, and his wrinkled face was full of sadness.
"So your wife died twenty years ago?" I said to old man.
"Almost, that is, more than 20 years. At that time, I was only in my thirties." old man said.
"Did anything strange happen to the school twenty years ago?" I asked old man.
"No, everyone was fine twenty years ago. Nothing happened." old man shook his head and said.
"How many people died during your long time in this school?" I asked old man. old man was stunned for a moment. Because he was drunk, his consciousness was a little vague.
But he still counted with his fingers: "my wife, the female student who committed suicide three years ago. And your class. That's all."
I was about to continue to ask, but old man drank some wine and suddenly felt unwell. He went straight into the room and fell asleep. Only us are left in a daze.
"So it is. We can leave." I suddenly said, and then waved to Wei and them to turn around and leave with me.
When returning to the playground, Wei suddenly asked, "boss, what did you just say you understand?"
"If I'm not wrong, it's absolutely impossible that these people were the only ones killed by the complaining spirit over the years. But almost no one knows. This shows that the complaining spirit can shield our senses. Let's forget what we see and hear." I sneered.
"It's impossible. I still remember the people in our class." Wei said.
"I can do an experiment." After I finished, I casually found a man on the playground. This man was a boy. He looked at me warily and asked, "what are you looking for me?"
"This classmate, do you know the dead in class 5, grade 2 of senior high school these days?" I asked him.
"Of course I know." The boy nodded.
"How many died? How many boys and girls were there?" I asked again.
"I don't know. Forget it." The boy said impatiently, then pushed my hand away, and then turned away.
"Grass, what did he say? I'm going to beat him." Wei said angrily, and then he was about to rush over. But I caught it.
"But the boy's expression is so indifferent. This is because the spirit of resentment can shield the senses of people in the whole school. It makes them feel that dead people are just a small thing. This leads to the fact that this matter can't be spread until now." I spread my hand and said.
"Boss, what you said is really reasonable. So many people have died in the classroom and the class has not been suspended. It's really unreasonable." Wen Zhu was surprised.
"I'll ask again." Wei said, and then he took Hong's hand. Run to the playground. Soon he ran back, his face full of fear and surprise.
"I just asked five other classes in a row. They all knew what happened in our classroom. But they all looked indifferent. They didn't seem to take our lives seriously."
"It seems that my idea is correct," I said with a serious expression. "Think about it, everyone, there has been such a terrible disaster in the school, no matter who, will be afraid?"
"Not only that, but when I asked them. When our class was still dead now, they didn't care at all. They weren't surprised at all. They even showed great impatience. It was a ghost."
"So, we must go to the school archives to investigate." I said to them.

Sara's (not really) Fabulous System Armageddon, Book I: The World Ended at Rush Hour
Planet Earth, Monday, October 7th, 2019. 18:30 * * On a fateful day, during rush hour in eastern North America, Heavens and Hell crumbled and fell from their higher dimension on Earth. It came from "above" but not the same above we regard in our tridimensional Euclidean reasoning. No, it came from "above" as in from a higher dimension. Bits and pieces of those places fell on Earth from all directions, this time in tridimensional Euclidean space. Satellites, the ISS, and space debris all were wiped clean from orbit. Even those that didn't crash with the falling debris were knocked off orbit by the shockwaves. On the ground, power distribution lines were disrupted and most power facilities were left abandoned by their dead staff. Most of these had emergency shutdown routines that engaged in a few days. Some others had a survivor among their staff that followed protocol and activated their SCRAM switches, stopping the power plant. Long-distance communication disappeared the internet along with it. The world was plunged into technological darkness. Nine hundred and ninety-nine out of every thousand human beings perished immediately in the pulse of magical energy from the torn spatial boundary. Spirits were rent asunder and vanished, their fate neither salvation nor damnation, only oblivion. The criteria used for this culling was latent magic potential. It didn't discriminate against education, gender, age, or ethnic group. But of the around seven million survivors, most would meet their doom moments later. Those on moving vehicles, like the ones driving on highways suddenly had to contend with high-speed uncontrolled cars and trucks driven by corpses. Trapped in their vehicles and helpless, they became part of the long snake of crushed metal. Very few survived. Those in the air or out in the sea were alone and probably unable to control their rides. Airplanes crashed, and ships kept their course or drifted away, depending on their autopilot. Several ended their own lives in utter despair after seeing their loved ones die in front of them. Another large group would die at the hands of other survivors. Violence and aggression became the norm. Only a few sparse pockets of not-so-sane survivors managed to band together and cooperate for the sake of mutual survival. The sole survivor in a five-over-one apartment building in Georgia, a girl became the keystone to humanity's survival. Sara's fabulous System Apocalypse had just started. She has only one remark. It was anything but fabulous. * * Updates every Wednesday and Sunday.
