《Everythink is grey》Tagging our new home (3)

Danny told us that he called the place the bridge-court, he found it while looking for food. He thought it would make a good basketball court so he fixed it up. We chilled for a few hours till I became bored so I got up and told everyone that its time to tag our territory ‘Tag?ʼ Danny asked. To my suprise Mez spoke up to explain, he'd never been one for explaining things. Judging by his smug look he was happy that he knew something Danny didnʼt ha- ha ‘well, tagging is when Fizz makes a cool picture at the highest point of an area we control well if we can get him up there that isʼ he spoke in a serious tone then started laughing, his tongue waggling out at me. He gave Fizzy a friendly punch on the shoulder to show he was only joking, Fizzy is kind of chubby not that much because of our lifestyle but he is bigger than most. We all followed Danny as he led us to the roof when we got there I saw a ladder so I climbed up it to the highest point which was a platform at the top of the ladder with a cement wall on it, Perfect I thought ‘What is this?ʼ I inquired while pointing at the wall. ‘No ideaʼ Danny replied shrugging. ‘Whatever, Fizzy you can tag this so climb upʼ. ‘Okay Iʼm comingʼ Fizzy said, a couple of minutes later he was up. Fizzy opened his bag, took out his equipment then started to get ready, first he put on a breathing mask, gloves and goggles then he pulled on his hoody. He then spent a couple of minutes organising his spray-paint cans and when he was done he began tagging are new home.

The next day was spent moving all our luggage to the Bridge-court. After everything was moved we fought over rooms (I got the best one) then we started unpacking our stuff and personalising our rooms. The place where we used to live was temporary as it was in bad condition but hopefully the Bridge-court would be our new home I thought to myself as I was sorting out my stuff needs a new name though. After I finished my room I took a look out the window then headed downstairs, Danny was already down so we played ball. When everyone else was down I called for a gang meeting ‘Okay guys anyone have anything to say?ʼ I asked looking at everyone. ‘I need new spray- paint cansʼ Fizzy said. ‘We will be in need of more food soonʼ Kal informed me. ‘We need to modify this place add a bowl, few ramps, a kicker oh and a half pipeʼ Mez told me. ‘Can I have a jacket like you guys?ʼ Danny asked me. ‘A what now?ʼ I asked confused. ‘The thing youʼre wearing he pointed at my jumper. ‘Oh a jumper sure you canʼ I replied. After our meeting was over we did our own thing till we got tired then went to bed.

Tension permeates the city of Bleakridge as forces within its walls struggle for supremacy. Grim Thorne, the disinherited son of the Earl, is a fly caught in the web of power struggles between these forces. When Grim closes his eyes, he can still see the bodies piled high from the first day of occupation. The day he was branded a bastard in the southern fashion. The day his father let them. Soldiers from the south bearing green cloaks and royal seals maintain order in the streets of Bleakridge, ensuring that the lifeblood of commerce continues to flow through the port city. In the slums beyond the outer wall, the Sons of the Reaper lurk. Some call them heroes, others villains. But all fear them for their relentless devotion to the old ways and the freedom that entails. In the castle above the city, resides the Earl of Bleakridge. The man who bent the knee and saved the lives of his people, if not their souls. After twenty years of occupation, the tension is coming to a head and Grim has to choose. Sympathetic to the Sons, duty bound to his father, and forced into service to the king. He must rise above the brand on his neck and decide where his true loyalties lie. But, after so long, it can be hard to tell who is deserving of loyalty. The King’s men who enforce order with a blood-soaked iron fist? The Sons who more resemble terrorists and crime lords than revolutionaries? Or the father who watches the bloodshed and does nothing? In the end, it is always the place of the young to bear the sins of the old.

Rune
In the world of Rune, there are two kinds of Players. The Crafters, and the Fighters. Fighters level their magic power, fueling the runic items from their own bodies, while crafters use the runes they bring back to develop powerful items using their knowledge of the electronic-like system. Not everything stays that simple, though, and Rune is no exception. Within each region, a number of guilds have sprung up, operating as the unaccountable vanguard of defense for the besieged cities. They don't care to deal fairly, and nobody else has the power to do much about it. (Harem is tagged but it's honestly polyamory. I hate the word harem but given that some people would interpret it as such, in it goes.)
