~Cazlid POV~
As I awoke I saw Yira and Doran laying in bed sleeping. I walked next to the bed and stretched. I looked at Doran and jumped up in the air. “Wake up Doran!” I yelled as I elbowed Doran in the gut. With a loud gasp from Doran Yira woke up and looked at us. As I looked at Doran I saw how he looked like he was out of breath. “You little” Doran said while pinching my cheeks. “Calm down Doran” Yira said, grabbing Doran’s shoulder. “Alright but don’t do that again,” Doran said giving me a smile. “So what is the plan for today?” I asked Doran as I jumped of the giant bed.
“Well today you will fight a new monster ” Doran said looking at me as he sat up. “What monster is that?” I asked, thinking of the monsters I’ve seen. “The mix of wolves” Doran said with a straight face. “Alright I can do that” I said looking at my spear. “Yes you beat the serpent, '' Doran said while Yira sat up. “Alright I’ll get ready” I said as I walked in a small changing room. I grabbed a uniform for the new school It was a dark blue. As I laid out the uniform I looked at it and thought of how the uniform looked like a short robe with a hood. Right before I put on the uniform I looked at my gut and saw a start shaped mark. This is the mark I got from zeta.
After I put on the uniform I looked in the mirror and took a pose. “Wow I look good but I do want to keep my scarf” I said looking at the folded scarf on the shelf. I picked up the scarf and imagined what it would like like to wear it with the uniform. “That is a no go it would look weird” I said looking at the mirror. I imagined it tied on my arm then I thought it would look great to tie the scarf on my waist. “It looks like how Doran has cloth around his waist” I said as a picture of Doran came to mind. “I think I look good all I need to do is tie my hair back” I said picking up a rubber band. As I pulled back my hair I saw my pony tail went down past my neck.
“Wow I look good with my hair out of my face” I said while walking out of the changing room. “You look good honey” Yira said with a chuckle. “You really do look great” Doran said with a smile as he stood up. “You ready to go you two” Doran asked as he opened the door. “Yes” Yira said as she walked to the door. “I am too” I said catching up with both of them. As we walked down the hall I saw Yira looking down at me. “Hey Caz wanna hear a story” Yira said looking at me with a smile I had often. “Yes that sounds fun” I said looking at her matching her goofy smile. “What is it about?” I asked in excitement.

“It’s about how I met Doran” Yira said making a small illusion of the world. “Wow tell me” I said looking at the illusion. “Well it was over four thousand years ago” Yira said showing a older world with the illusion. “That long ago?” I asked looking at Doran. “Yeah I was so young back then but I’m still as beautiful” Yira said flinging her hair back. “Well back then I was traveling with the sun following me” Yira said as the illusion showed Yira with longer hair and old clothes. “You look the same!” I said looking at the old Yira.
“It was on a old land that disappeared a bit ago” Yira said showing a old map. “What happened to it?” I asked looking up at Yira. “It sunk underwater” Yira said showing a land flooded. “Well as I was traveling I heard of a calm desert” Yira said showing her walking to a desert. “But as I entered the desert a sand storm started” Yira said showing her surrounded in a sand storm. “But as I walked through I felt someone get close to me” Yira said showing the old her look through the storm. “Then out of nowhere I felt a finger touch my shoulder” Yira said as the illusion showing a hand touching Yira’s shoulder.
“As I looked around the storm began to disappear I saw you know who in the storm” Yira said showing a Doran with longer hair. He had two giant gold rings behind him. “He walked up to me I was a little scared but” Yira said showing her scared as Doran walked to her. “To my surprise he hugged me and let out a shivering sound” Yira said showing Doran shivering hugging Yira. “He didn’t let go until after half an hour” Yira said, showing him covered in ice. “After he said thank you for your help” Yira said showing Doran bowing. “He said that he lived in the desert and told me to follow him,” Yira said, showing them walk together.
“He told me his name as we neared a temple I thought he was weird” Yira said showing a temple made of sand. “That looks awesome” I said with a jump of excitement. “Yes it is I wish you could see it your self” Yira said with a smile. “He said he never met anyone else that was like him” Yira said showing a group of people though it was blurry. “Do you mean high tiers?” I asked with joy. “Yes and he asked me to take him with me” Yira said showing the both of them training together. “We traveled together and trained it felt like I was free” Yira said with a look of nostalgia. “It seems like you two had fun” I said with a smile. “We did” Yira said as Doran turned around. “You ready little Caz” Doran said as a pack of wolves attacked me.

“Alright I will do it perfectly” I said as I pulled out my spear and got in a stance. The wolves began to run around me and began to attack one by one. Each wolf seemed to be a different color as I noticed a green wolf turned to vines and whipped at me. As the vine whipped by I got hit on my neck that made me almost pass out. Barely hanging on I used my spear to cut the core of the green wolf. As I felt my neck the skin was gone and bleeding. As soon as I thought about the wound a gray wolf lunged out and I felt like I was two times heavier.
The wolf scratched my back over and over again. I managed to throw the wolf back and pulled out a needle at throw them at the gray wolf. The wolf made the needles miss and fall to the ground. I ran too the wolf and jabbed the spear at the wolf and cut off one of the wolf’s leg. As the leg fell it turned to smoke and reattach to the gray wolf. As I ran back to throw the spear. As I was back the wolf was lunging at me. I pointed my spear at the wolf and stabbed it as the wolf fell on the spear. I fell back to catch my breath as the last wolf burst out the ground and took my left leg.
With a scream I rolled over to see the wolf go back underground. As I gripped my spear I used the spear as a crutch to get ready for the wolf to come out of the ground. As I looked around I saw Doran, and Yira watching me as the wolf took my spear, and knocked me down. As I fell I thought of an idea and pulled out the needles and stabbed myself. Covering my body in needles I got ready to attack the wolf when it came out of the ground. As I waited the wolf came out from under me as the claws stabbed my chest. I felt the needles get pulled out. As I saw the wolf leap back I saw it had needles in its leg and chest. I pulled out more needles and threw them at the wolf. As the wolf moved back out of the way of the needles I ripped my shirt and covered my wound in my chest. As I leaned towards the wolf it disappeared into the ground. I crawled to the spear that began to look blurry along with the surroundings. I began to pass out each second passed and it became harder to breath I realized that the wound on my chest also hit my lungs. My lungs began to fill with blood, my heart beat began to speed up. As i felt my body began to give out the wolf leaped out and attacked my back
As I gave up I saw a yellow glow as the wolf froze mid air. I heard Yira speak “you're ok now Caz” as a purple light covered me I felt my wounds heal slowly. “Wow look at you little Caz but yo did good” Doran said as he and Yira walked towards me. As I felt my conscientious return I saw the wolf get sent flying. As all my wounds disappeared my clothes began to return to normal. I felt a feeling of shame as both Doran and Yira stood in front of me looking down on me. As I stood up with my head down Doran said “you did good little Caz” as he patted my head. When I looked up I saw Doran and Yira smiling at me. “Ill beat them next time don't you worry” I said looking at them with a smile. “That's the way to think now lets get you to school” Doran said as he help clean me up and fix my clothes. “Alright lead the way” I said as we walked to my new school.

Long Shadow
No destiny, no choice, no hope. Our protagonist, a coward summoned to a world meant for heroes; a new world with new rules and old cruelties. Join him on his adventures as he must deal with menus, monsters, and mysteries in this litrpg fantasy. Thomas Goodwill was an average boy with an average life, all that changed when he woke up in a new reality. Now, out of his depth, damn near out of his mind, he must learn to survive in a game-like reality with no reloads, checkpoints, or save scumming. He does, however, have a drunk snake. Thank you for reading my first story, hopefully, the first of many to come. This will be my main story and is meant to help me practice and hone my skills as I slowly produce more complex ideas. It's a litrpg in which I want to only lightly focus on the mechanics as I don’t want to pad out the word count with math and number tables and while I want to add a few of my own twists here and there, overall I’m going to keep this story close to generic as possible so that I don't let my inexperience lead me into a corner. Thanks again to all willing to leave a review or some constructive criticism, without you I'd never improve. Unfortunately, Cover art is by me.

Shrike
He wants to play the latest and greatest VRMMORPG game, but he can't muster up the cash for the fancy new proprietary hardware and membership license. After months of saving up cash and arduous work, he has built a behemoth of a machine relying almost entirely on seedy old technology and a DIY guide by some dude named "Jimmy Bob." This is the story of his entry into the game. This is also a story of intrigue, exploration, introspection, batshit crazy game design, and unintended but entirely predictable consequences. This is G.C.O. Undergoing a total re-write, mostly because I think things were too rushed rather than any content or direction changes. If you are one of the few who tried Shrike when it was briefly updating, consider giving it another shot. Of no relation to either The Great Crusade or the recent (in 2017 lol) Shrike book for Warhammer by Games Workshop. All similarities in these cases are superficial; please don't sue me. Feedback welcome and encouraged, never be afraid to review or comment. HQ/Kindle-Grade cover art. Book Cover 2.0: "From the Dark"

Gamer
I am making this story as a revamp, edit, and transformation of the legendary gamer into something that can be better related to. I have done some work on writing, and also put more work into preparing the introductory thoughts. I will have a bare minimum of weekly updates, but there may be more depending on how much time I have. This story will follow Gregory Jeffrey Drake, a young man whose life is partially micromanaged by his parents, and in time will come to be a powerful character in his own story. For now though, the main focus for Gregory is to grow and find his place in this new world he has been dropped into. Gregory gained a new type of class, and must use it if he hopes to stay alive and make the world a better place.
