《I Still am a Spy》Stomach upsets, diarrhea, and sleepless nights in a sweaty chill

Istambul, Turkey
Despite not having a plan in mind, the trio returned to the airport. Without saying it in words, Belgium wanted to go to the international airport wondering how to find Ana, or fly back to Brazil. Whichever option they picked, it would be terrible. Going back without Ana would be a tremendous disappointment. Going to Arabia could be an absolute disaster. While Belgium was thinking, Vini and Enzo went to the airport food court.
- Why does airport food seem so weird? - Enzo asked.
- What's the matter now, Enzo?
- Does this sandwich look yummy to you? Because I look at it and all I see are stomach upsets, diarrhea, and sleepless nights in a sweaty chill.
- So don't eat it.
- No way! I spent thirty bucks on this sandwich. For that price, it should come with a ticket to Moscow.
- Why Moscow?
- It was the closest destination I could think of from here.
As they approached the table Belgium had arranged, Enzo began to enjoy his sandwich, while Vini watched in disgust at the terrible scene.
- I think I'm going to puke. - said Vini.
- Ew, Vini, I'm eating! - Enzo complained. - If you're going to throw up, do it the hell away from me.
- Could the two idiots just be quiet for one damn second? - Belgium was throwing a fit.
- What's the matter with you, Belgium? Are you in menopause?
- I'm sorry?
- Enzo! What a rude question! - Vini complained, but then asked back. - But are you really?
- Of course not, Vini! You stupid bastard! I'm worried about Ana. And you morons don't help!
- What do you want us to do?
- Better leave her alone, Vini. She's about to go full fruit fly!

- Enzo, I swear!
But, in fact, something was wrong with her, but obviously Vini wasn't going to ask. To leave her alone, the two approached the huge internal windows overlooking the airplane patio, more precisely the Turkish planes. Probably the airport was the hub of the airline in the country.
- Is that a DC-10? - Vini pointed out.
- It looks like it. - Enzo nodded. - It's been a few years since I saw one of those. They are absolutely stunning.
Alone, Belgium was not feeling well and ran to the nearest bathroom without telling Vini or Enzo. She tripped over a child on the way and fell to the floor. Stunned, she got up quickly and slammed the door violently. And she threw up on the floor. Suddenly, a strange feeling began to haunt her.
- Oh, no.
Back at the table with the boys, Belgium didn't say a word. So she got up and went to the windows. Vini thought it was all very unusual, but he didn't say anything, because he didn't want to be killed. But while admiring the view, she noticed something curious on the aircraft runway.
- Hey, isn't that Ana's father? - Belgium was intrigued.
Enzo may finally use his useless superpower.
- Yes, he is. What is he doing here?
- Remember Rodriguez told us in Brazil that high members of the military leadership are involved in this? - Vini remembered an important moment in history.
- Don't you think that...
But that was exactly what Vini thought. To solve the suspicion, they went after Ana's father, who was talking with some other soldiers. As soon as he saw them approaching, he didn't know where to hide.
- Enzo? What are you doing here?
- Actually, we are the ones who should be asking you.

- I thought you were with Ana.
- Don't you have any idea what is going on?
- What are you talking about?
- And they call me slow. - Enzo remarked.
- Your daughter was taken by the traffickers.
Ana's father's eyes widened, because he knew that this information could mean many things.
- What?
- We already know. - Belgium soon revealed. - There's no point in hiding it from us. We know that members of the army are involved in international trafficking.
- What we don't know is why. - Vini said.
- I had no choice!
- There is always a choice! And now your daughter is in Saudi hands!
- Holy shit. What have I done?
- That's not important anymore. What we need to know is, how do we track her down?
- Are you sure she was taken to Saudi Arabia?
- Yes, we are. And we know the name of the person. Mohammed Bin-Al. I have already googled him and it looks like he lives in an upscale neighborhood in Riyadh. It is practically an oasis and the man lives surrounded by luxury and sports cars.
Enzo was impressed.
- Uh, really? He could have bought me instead.
- So... What's the plan, sir?
- I don't know.
- If you want us to pick up weapons, then do what you have to do. We've done it before. And we survived.
- Except that you almost died, you slug! - Enzo remembered.
- And so did you! - Vini replied.
- But I didn't die like you.
- You jumped off a bridge on a motorcycle! When you became Tom Cruise?
- And you did... What did you really do? I don't remember.
While the two idiots were arguing, Belgium met with Ana's father to find the best alternative. Going to Arabia could imply a huge political problem. Not going, would mean leaving Ana without the slightest chance of survival.
- All right. - he said. - We'll go later tonight. I'll talk to some people to join us. We have guns and plenty of extra ammunition. But I'll tell you. No cute stuff. Arrive there, find Ana, save her, and the fuck leave. Do you understand me?
- Yes, sir. - Belgium said.
- Good. Now, try not to attract attention. When it's time to go, I'll let you guys know.

At The Lions Gate
In the 20th century America reinvented itself. Devastated by depression, scarred by war, rocked by a revolution, Americans banded together to preserve their country and their freedom. They had faith in themselves, faith in one another, and for those who believed…faith in God. This novel tells the story of one American who lived through those turbulent years….years that would test his character and the character of a nation. For Josh Sanders it begins in 1935. A star athlete in school, pro football is a ticket out of poverty during the Great Depression; but when his father, a WWI veteran, is killed during a robbery, Josh’s spirit is broken, and with it his boyhood dream. To honor his father Josh joins the war effort in 1942, distinguishing himself as a fighter pilot, until a fateful decision near the end of the war changes the course of his life once again. But many years later, after a stint as a boxer and a failed marriage, Josh finds his calling…at a time when the country is at war with itself. The year is 1968. King and Kennedy have been killed, race riots are breaking out, and Vietnam has become an albatross, causing massive protests across the country. In the streets of San Francisco Josh watches a crowd of students march for peace. As a veteran he’s conflicted, toward the war and those who oppose it. But when he encounters Rosy Goldin, a spirited young protester in need of help, a voice from the past calls him to action. His good intentions are soon tested when Rosy falls in love with the fugitive anti-war activist Erick White, a young man determined to oppose the war at all costs, against the wishes of his own father. Fearful of what happens to Rosy, Josh confronts Erick, unwilling to be part of his plan to escape…until he meets the boy’s father. A high-powered criminal attorney, Karl White is also a flag-waving patriot demanding that his son follow the law. But as White makes his case Josh is jolted by a painful war-time memory, a crisis of conscience that will soon determine the fate of Rosy Goldin and Erick White.
