Hank sat at the police station waiting for Naa to show up, he had been there for close to half an hour and was now fidgeting on his phone when he laid eyes on the person he had been waiting for as she made her way into the station.

“Naa” Hank called out to her, Naa stopped looking around before seeing him coming towards her. “Hank, what are you doing here this early?” Naa asked raising a brow, “actually I was here a bit earlier but you know what, that doesn’t matter. I’m taking you out for breakfast”.

“Breakfast?” Naa let out a sigh before giving Hank a really look, “Hank-“ Naa begun but was cut off by Hank, “before you say anything, it’s eight in the morning and I got here at seven thirty and I was told you were out hours before so I am ninety percent, okay eighty percent… fine seventy percent sure that you my lady haven’t eaten anything. So, I ask again care to join me for breakfast?”

Naa just stared into Hank’s eyes for a full minute before agreeing to his request, “fine, let’s go”. The two smiled as they headed out together.

At a coffee shop near the station Hank brought over the cups of coffee alongside chocolate croissants to their table setting it before Naa, “there you go”. Naa smiled at the food before her before leaning forward and propping her chin with her hand, “okay”

“Okay, what?”

“Spill”

“I don’t understand what you’re getting at”

“Oh, come on”, Naa began “Breakfast, chocolate croissants, you used to do this when we were kids and every time you did, it was always for the exact same reason. You wanted something from me , so what do you want this time?”

Hank let out a chuckle, “you know me too well” “that I do” Naa took a sip from her coffee before continuing, “so what is it”. “I… I know I haven’t well let’s say I’m not that easy to get along”

“Oh really, I hadn’t noticed”

“Funny, anyway I try you know, but even when do what I think is right, somehow I just seem to make things worse, and after hearing those words I, I kind off don’t know what to do anymore”

“Wow this must be some lady if she got you to say such things” Naa spoke as she took a bite from her croissant. “It’s a guy” Hank’s words caught Naa off-guard causing her to choke on her croissant until she took a few gulps from her coffee. Now calm she looked to Hank with widened eyes, “It’s not what you think he is a friend”.

“A friend? You telling me you have a friend that isn’t me or Michelle? Now that I find it hard to believe”

“I can make friends.”

“Alright, alright I believe you, but if you really care about this friend then I’m not the person you should be talking to right now” The two remained silent after Naa spoke just smiling at one another, “I sometimes forget just how smart you are” “much to learn you still have, young padawan” Naa spoke in her best Yoda voice.

“Did you just mimic Star Wars” Hank asked with a smirk on his face, “it is the best piece of science fiction literature” Hank scoffed hearing that, “then cheers to that” the two clicked their cups together before taking a sip of their coffee spending the rest of their time just talking amongst themselves.

At Ferdinand’s apartment

“Are you sure this is going to work” Tim asked as he peaked from behind Ferdinand to look at his screen which was filled with lines of code. “For the hundredth time yes” Ferdinand spoke with his annoyance clear in his voice as he turned around to give Tim a glare.

“Right, I’ll shut up now” Tim spoke before taking a few steps back with his arms raised in surrender.

“How could you be so stupid to forget about the tracker” Ferdinand muttered as he continued to work on the code.

“I told you I didn’t now about the tracker” Tim defended himself, “right because this people are just going to put arguably one of the worlds most dangerous bioweapons in the trunks of a couple of street racers and not put trackers on it” Ferdinand spoke in a sarcastic tone as he finished what he was working on.

“done”

Last night after being shocked by what was in the trunk, he discovered the tracker attached to the cannisters, which explained how the assassins were able to follow Tim. The only reason the weren’t any assassins coming to finish them off at that moment was because the assassins had shot at it disabling it.

But in order to be safe the two had driven to another warehouse and dropped off the cannisters before coming back to the apartment, where Ferdinand got to work to make sure they were truly unable to follow him to his apartment.

“So now what?” Tim asked, Ferdinand turned to give a reply but was cut off by knocks originating from his door. The two shared a look before Ferdinand motioned for Tim to remain silent as he went to answer the door, gathering his courage Ferdinand looked through the peep hole to see who was outside.

He let out a sigh of relief when he saw who it was outside his door, opening the door, there stood Hank. “Hey Ferdinand, I wanted to talk about…” Hank trailed of as he laid eyes on the person in Ferdinand’s apartment. Ferdinand noticing this followed his look and saw who he was looking at, “right ehm Hank meet Tim, Tim meet Hank”.

Timothy gave Hank a wave, to which Hank responded to with a nod before looking to Ferdinand with a look that said ‘explain’.
