Naa after checking on the hostages an making sure everyone was alright decided to interview some witnesses but she failed to get useful information except for the genders of the robbers. "how are we on the security cameras?" Naa went up to their tech guy, "all cameras went down during the robbery, there is a code running through the Bank system"
"can you crack it, or at least find out who is responsible for it" Naa asked the important question but the answer from the tech guy was a shake from his head which caused Naa to walk away disappointed.
The next day;
Hank on the other hand had left the bunker returning back above to be with his cousin, “Hank” Michelle called as she saw Hank appear in the kitchen. “cousin” Hank answered with a smile on his face, “how the hell do you keep doing that?” “Doing what?”
“I swear I searched this whole place for you yesterday and this morning the maids were certain you didn’t come in, in the night” Michelle spoke up still staring at Hank with her brows quirked in anticipation of an explanation.
“I’ve been here the entire time” Hank spoke with a straight face which seemed to piss Michelle off even more. Hank who the saw the look on her face continued, “I just went to bed early is all” “early? You left the party around five what are you a grandad and second I checked your room and you were nowhere to be found”
“It’s a big house there are a lot of rooms some you don’t know about” Hank continued, “so even the maids in this house know nothing of these rooms”
“I grew up here, they did not. Mm this is good” Hank spoke the last sentence with a mouth full of cereal. “hey, get your own” Michelle grabbed back her bowl of cereal which Hank attempted to take another spoon from, with that done Hank managed to draw Michelle’s attention from where exactly he was last night.

Truth be told Hank had not spent the entire night hidden away in his bunker, after being unable to gain information from the files he had he went searching for various gangs hoping to get some leads as he had managed to before but they seemed to have learnt from before leaving him with no information and turning the night to nothing more than him venting his frustrations on the unlucky criminals he met.
Deciding to forget about the failure that was last night Hank spent the remaining morning with his cousin.
Hank was not the only one feeling stressed about his lack of success as Naa was venting her frustrations on any of her supplies that were unlucky to come into her line of sight. “Urgh!” Naa let out a cry of frustration before falling into her chair ad covering her face with her hand.
“Well, you look terrible” Jarred spoke up as he saw his partners state, “I have a series of robberies which involve a murder of one of our own which I am no closer to solving and just last night I was sent round the city trying to catch the Phantom! So you tell me just how am I supposed to feel right now” with the mention of the Phantom Jarred could sense her anger which was slowly transforming into hate.
“You have start looking at things positively, maybe… I’m saying maybe, he could be hunting down the criminals too” Naa narrowed her eyes at him hearing that, “since when were you on his side?”
“I’m not on his side, was just trying to help you calm down”
“Well, that is doing the opposite of calming me down”
“I see that now, so why don’t I offer you an apology… lunch?”
“Yeah, but I am picking the place. Prepare to lose this month’s paycheck” Jarred broke out laughing hearing what Naa said before moving back out to continue working.

[OLD] The Magus of Imminent Oblivion
AN: This is a pretty shitty novel, in case you haven't already guessed that by the rating. Check out the newer version that I'm writing, since it has more content written and higher quality (I hope). Awakening in a new world, his new body burned with an old fury. Where magic was common and power was cheap, he vowed to never let anything get the better of him.
