THOMPSON ENTERPRISES
A man stood before a window over looking the entire Lakeside city. He was 6'2 with greying hair and clean shaven. He was decked in an expensive suit.
The man was soon joined by his assistant who brought a tablet looking nervous." What is it Martin?" the man asked without turning to take a glance at his assistant "Sir it seems... that Hank Thompson is back sir."
"so I've heard, what of it?"
"sir now he's back won't he be a threat to your plans sir."
"A threat..." the man now turns to look at his assistant with his cold calculative eyes. "That fool of a nephew is no threat he has no vision, no idea how to run a business and most importantly no backbone. He would be more than content as long as I keep giving him money to fool around."
He then moves to sit in his chair before looking at his assistant once more. "to prove my point, the fool's been back not even a day yet is already throwing a party."
THOMPSON MANOR
All sorts of cars and bikes were parked in the once empty driveway and people from all walks of life entered the Manor for the party of the year.
"where is he?" Michelle asked pacing, she was a black one piece that complemented her figure perfectly "Relax Michelle" Naa says as she takes a glass of champagne from a waiter passing "you know how he loves to show up, what is the word I'm looking for...oh yes fashionably late" she was in a splendid red dress that went up to her knee "speak of the devil" at that moment Hank started coming down the stairs with a smile plastered on his face.
"May I have your attention." he spoke drawing the attention of everyone to himself "all of you know I was gone for... a while and I have really missed this city in the time I was gone and I am glad to be back now without further ado, let's get this party started!" "Yeah!!" the people shouted back clearly sharing his enthusiasm.
"see I told you he'll be fine." Naa turned to Michelle with a smile on her face, she couldn't stop smiling that night because her best friend was back. Hank walked up to them being slowed down by the numerous people trying to talk to him" well don't you look absolutely ravishing this evening ladies. " "you know, I thought being a monk for so many years you would have changed." "trust me Naa I have, I really have." Hank responded and at that moment Michelle could swear she saw something weird in his eyes.

THE DOCKS
men were walking around with guns "Hurry up we've got to get the goods out of here before eleven" a man's voice resounded through out the entire docks.
At the edge of the docks one man was taking a piss whilst whistling to himself, unbeknownst to him a presence was slowly coming up behind him. He was then quickly stabbed in the neck causing him to stumble forward then fall causing a splash, one of the guards heard the sound and called out to him but didn't hear anything. He took out his gun and headed towards where his last spotted his friend.
Soon gunshots were heard then everything went silent. Every person at the dock was now alert, John Jeff who was inside with the goods told one of his men to go check it out.
Multiple gunshots rang out in the night along with screams, John Jeff picked out his hand gun and held it in position wondering what was happening. The man he sent earlier came running back, with fear written all over his face.
"What the hell is going on?!"John Jeff barked out at the man who just ran in.
"it's a... Huff... demon."
" a what now?"
"It appeared and-"
The lights went off before the man could speak the eerie silence scaring the men soon two green lights shone and the man screamed "it's here!" gunshots went off once again. John Jeff run to the cage, standing in front of it when the lights came back on.
John and the man standing next to him were scared stiff, something attacking them but they couldn't tell what exactly it was.
"you don't pay me enough for this." the man said to John before having a knife enter his chest. John turned to the source of the blade to see a two green dots which he assumed were eyes staring back at him-the eyes seemingly staring into soul -causing him to feel an indescribable feeling of fear.
He quickly picked a girl from the cage behind him and placed a gun to her head "Don't come any closer freak!...or I'll shoot...I swear!" he shouted whist the figure kept on walking towards him without saying a word "I'll shoot I swear!" John shouted once more when he saw it was still coming for him. The figure shot a blade cutting John's fingers Knocking the gun out his hand "aaarrrggghhh!" John began to scream from the excruciating pain.

John looked to where the figure once stood only to see it wasn't there anymore. The figure suddenly appeared before him, grabbed him by the collar and slammed him into the cell, the figure was now just an inch away from him the bright green eyes which seemed to stare right into his soul.
The figure picked him then flipped him over the railings, then landed on top of him with a hidden blade on his neck.
"please no... If it's money you want you can have it...just please let me go... Please" John was pleading but the figure didn't respond but just tilted his head and brought it's face closer to his it wore a mask with the green lights coming from his goggles " I don't want your money. " an inhumanly deep voice came from the figure.
Soon all that was heard was John's screams terrifying the girls and causing them to huddle together.
A few minutes later
The police had arrived at the scene which now looked like a scene straight out of a horror movie.
Blood splattered everywhere bodies all around some in extremely weird angles " I heard something like this happened a few years back in the UK. "one officer said to his partner" you don't think it's him do you? " his partner asked "The ripper is nothing more than an urban myth now get to work!" Naa's voice cut through their conversation she was still in her red dress but with a jacket over.
"Amoah!" she motioned for an officer close to her "yes detective" "what have we got?" she asked as they start to head deeper into the crime scene "multiple homicides all with stab wounds some single and precise others with multiple wounds. Eyewitness report claim it was all done by one person." at this Naa stopped and turned to look at the officer "you mean to tell me one person... did all this. What do you think this is... a movie?" she asked with her brow raised, when she saw the officer wasn't joking she asked" who are the eyewitnesses " "now that's were it gets interesting." the officer showed her to a group of girls who were covered in a towel and huddled together shivering. She turn to look at him with a look that clearly said explain "the were victims of human trafficking run by the bodies here, he said motioning to the body's still littered around them that's when Naa noticed something on the ceiling.
"Hey, shine some light up there." she demanded pointing to where she thought she saw something, she saw a body pinned to the roof with blood dripping to the ground. The body was completely mutilated in ways which didn't even look human.
She turned to girls and walked up to them leaving the other officers who were either stumped or puking their guts out. "hey girls I'm sorry to do this when you just came out of a traumatic experience but can you tell me what happened here?" she asked in the sweetest and most comforting voice she could muster.
One of the girls looked into her eyes the girls eyes broken as though she had seen the worst of humanity which she probably had.
"It was a demon." she whispered to Naa "pardon." "It was the devil he came he he he killed all of them it was a demon I tell you a demon!" the girl screamed out and based on the looks the other girls had it seemed they had all seen the same thing.

The Mystery Play business is a niche, but profitable market in the underground community of magical types that's sometimes known as the Occulture. Folks from the old magic families will pay big bucks to experience the sort of life that they imagine for an urban fantasy protagonist, and catering to their dreams puts food on the table. Raymond Doyle is a professional in his field- which is to say, he's the guy who shows up to threaten the star of the show on orders from an antagonist. He's the Heavy. The muscle. He's good at the job.
