《My Unending Agony》Guns Blazing

I wake up holding my chest, my heart still pounding from that nightmare. I look around the room I was in to see rows of bed with people laying in them. Boots and a chest infront of each bed. I here a gunshot from outside, followed by an explosion. A man with some sort of military outfit runs into the large room and starts shouting for everyone to get up. All the men that were in the bed started geting changed and grabbing a rifle before running outside. "Hurry up Mathews!" The man shouted. "Yes sir!" I blurted out without hesitation. I quickly put my boots and grabbed my gun from beside me and ran past the man with a group of others. Off in the distance there was a large cloud of smoke and flame. People all over the camp were yelling "Ambush!" As I follo my Battalion, everwhere I looked I either saw a man running, or laying on the ground lifeless. I saw something speed towards us so I yelled "Get down!" Everyone stopped and ducked. The projectile hit behind us killing two of us. "lets get moving!" one of them ordered. He stood up first. As we started to get up, a gun shot came from beside us. The soldier that stood up got shot in the leg. I quickly lifted my rifel and shot the other soldier. One of the others dragged our wounded man to cover. I went to the man I hit to finish him off. He pulled out a pistol but I kicked it out of his hand. A radio on the mans belt turned on. "Bomb Disposal is on target. Get our men out for contact." I looked up to see a group of planes flying in a box formation. "We won." The man said coughing up blood. "bombers!" One of our men yelled. I looked over at the medic who looked like he wouldnt be able to lift the wounded soldier on time. The closest shelter was about Two-Hundred meters down. "Get to cover!" I ordered, as I ran to the wonded soldier. "You are not dieing today." I told him to calm him down. The bombers reached the camp. "Contact." I heard over the radio as the bombs began to release. I ran as fast as I could go, but even that was'nt fast enough. Just before we got to the bunker one of the bombs hit a few yards next to me, throwing us both away. Everthing seemd blurry, and my ears were ringing loudly. A group of soldiers were walking towards us. They went to the Injured soldier first, checking if he was alive. To my surprise, they shot him. I tired to move, but no matter how hard I tried I I could only move my head slightly." "Stop moving." Some Voice said to me. One of the men saw me watching, and shouted somthing out but I couldnt understand because my ears were still ringing. He pulled his pistol out and aimed it at my head. My group ran out of the bunker clearing out the enemy soldiers, while one stayed with me yelling. I could only make out "What are you?" He Pushed his gun to my forehead, but before he could shoot me in the head, he himself got shot in the chest. He still shot me though, but not in the head, but in my side. one of my men ran up to me trying to stop the bleeding. I started feeling cold, and light headed. The man helping me started saying stuff to calm me down. "Just hang in there a little longer." But I was not able to. I tried to keep my eyes open but it was too difficult. Just before I faded away, the Soldier said "Open your eyes." I dont know if it was the fact that I was bleeding out, but it looked like the soldiers skin started to turn a glowing white. Everthing soon turned to Black.

The Undead Revolution
This was my first attempt at writing a story, in hiatus indefinitely. This story follows Silvy, half-elf, a rare race despised by both humans and elves. Having never met her father, the first years of her life were spent together with her mother, who had to leave her native village because of the blasphemy she had committed by giving birth to Silvy. At the age of eight, Silvy became an orphan and was left to fend for herself. Her mother had died of illness, Silvy’s life turning upside down: the child went from living in a modest but cozy home with poor but daily meals to live outside the walls in the slums, where crime was commonplace and food was scarce. Luck had yet to abandon her completely though, because a group of orphans like Silvy decided to help, integrating her into their group and teaching the tricks of the trade; that is, stealing and swindling. But fate had not yet finished playing with her. Kidnapped and frightened, her life will turn upside down again when she awakens as undead, but still able to think clearly.
