Ian didn't answer Aldrich's question since he had limited information about Asfa.
Aldrich then continued, "Nevermind, I will handle this personally. Do not tell anyone about this."
Everyone who has personally worked with Aldrich would notice how uncomfortable he is facing this situation. They wanted to help their king, but none of them knew what are they supposed to do.
Asfa is now taking his students' attendance before the fitness test begins. Since every student is there, other lecturers from the different departments can be seen there watching from the stadium stand.
Most students with better physiques will take this opportunity to show their ability, while the weaker ones look slightly nervous when the fitness test starts. PE instructors are allowed to join the students running to guide and support their students but none of them willing to do so except Asfa.
Other instructors couldn't handle the possibility of losing to the students, while some think it is a bit unnecessary to show off in front of everyone.
Asfa heard the criticism with his enhanced hearing, but he couldn't care. Primarily, he wanted to encourage the students by completing the test at the slowest pace. Also, he thinks it is unfair for the students to do this alone, especially for the new students.
With the smartwatch to calculate his pace, Asfa jogged at a consistent speed and stayed behind every student as an indicator that they should always be in front of him to pass the test.
Typically it takes an hour to complete the test, especially for the elite students who have enough resources to consume for their growth. After an hour, a quarter of the students finished the run, while the remaining one looked exhausted. Whenever a student started to give up, Asfa tried his best to motivate and encourage them to continue struggling since there was still time to finish the run.

Asfa saw that Olivia was the second student to complete the run and when she saw him jogging behind everyone, she wanted to join him but got rejected immediately by the instructors in charge outside.
"Hmm, there are still 20 minutes left to complete the test. Luckily, only a student left from my class here or else they are going to blame my method of teaching." Asfa then rushed himself to the student from his class.
He couldn't really remember the student's name, but he knew she was a commoner just like him. He knew that she was exhausted, but there was no time for her to rest.
Asfa is running next to her and smiles at her, "Hey, don't rush. We still got time. Follow my pace, we are going to finish this together. For the commoner!"
The moment Asfa steps onto the finish line, the bell rings as a sign that the test is over. The student he followed before collapsed immediately, but the medical team were prepared to help her. The girl he helped smiled at her before he left the scene.
Since every student passed the test, every PE instructor is allowed to leave the college earlier than usual. Asfa needs to meet Steve as soon as possible since he has to go to the airport before lunch hour for his flight. He took out his phone to inform the old guy that he would be there in a few minutes. But then the other instructors come toward his location.
"Bird of the same feather flock together, both trash finished last. What a sight to see. Commoner will always be commoner, disgusting!" The one who said that was Lucas.
He remembered from his reading that Lucas was one of the youngest and best instructors here. As soon as he graduated from Bright University, he entered this college as an instructor for the new students. With no teaching experience, the senior instructors here doubted his capability to work in this prestige college.

Surprisingly, the class he took care of got the highest overall scores for the first year examination. He showed everyone that he could do it too, but better. Not to mention, he competed in martial arts competitions as a hobby and won most of them. He could be the best youth of his generation, but then rumours started to spread around about how hateful he was toward the commoners.
He once got caught hurting a commoner who was a student here but then there was no further action from the college side. The student then left college voluntarily, and the news about the incident disappeared. People started to realise that powerful forces were supporting him from behind. Therefore, everyone here who knows about this won't be interfering with him anymore.
Asfa had no reason to go against Lucas. He was the last person he wanted to be involved with. He looked at Lucas and said, "I am so sorry for being here. Leaving immediately, bye!". Before he could even continue walking, Lucas shouted.
"You dare to leave just like that!?"
...
Asfa's instinct kicks in when his body moves instantly to block Lucas's punches that come out of nowhere. He deflected everything and moved himself a few meters from Lucas. Asfa looked at others' reactions but got disappointed since no one cared to help.
Surprisingly, Lucas releases his mana and rushes toward Asfa to continue assaulting Asfa. The assault looks brutal, and any ordinary person won't have any chance to escape uninjured. Fortunately, Asfa had no problem avoiding them.
He started to get frustrated. It has been a while since he got attacked, but no one bothers to stop this. He grabbed Lucas's right wrist and threw him away by twisting his body.
Lucas rolled for a few meters, and others started to panic when they saw Asfa's retaliation. Asfa then shouted.
"Are you done playing around? If you are, I am leaving now. Thank you." He then walked toward the hallway to leave the stadium track.
A few minutes after Asfa left, Lucas woke up and realised that he got beaten in a single move in front of everyone. For the first time in his life, he got humiliated this badly. No one there dares to look at Lucas to avoid being involved. When Lucas left, the tension that others felt before was gone.
While Asfa runs to the laboratory to meet Steve, the video of him throwing Lucas like a doll spreads among the people in the college. It was posted anonymously by a random user on the internet, and it was almost impossible to remove it now. Whenever it got deleted, someone else would post the same video.
When Asfa reached the laboratory, he used his access key to enter and then shouted.
"Old man, help me! Sh*t happened just now!"
Surprisingly, there was someone else there, and they were looking at Asfa weirdly. He recognised some of them since he met Ian previously when he got warned by him to stay away from Olivia. The other person that remembers is the one leading the Legion last night at the hotel fighting the terrorists, Shield.
He acted calmy and started to leave the laboratory.
"Ay ay, old man. I am sorry for disturbing your meeting. I'm leaving, bye!"

8 234Cary Simms: The Fairy Mushroom Forest
From a young age, Cary Simms knew that she wasn't like the other boys her age. She didn't know why or how that was, but it seemed apparent to the bullies of her school. They would often call her names, chase after her after school, and beat her up when they could catch her. Her only protection, besides escape, was in the words of the Good Book. But that was before she stumbled into the supposedly haunted house at the end of her street. When a mysterious ring and a drawing on the back wall of the post office opened up a whole new world for her, things quickly went from weird to scary. At a new school, in a new world, surrounded by people who had access to magic, all Cary could think of was how to escape the witches that had her trapped there. It was only having her best friend by her side that gave her any comfort at all. ***This is my first attempt at a middle grade book, and would appreciate feedback. Please note, this is a second draft, and might not represent the final product.***
