Asfa decided to stay for a while and see the authority's action in solving this situation. He spent some time extending his scanning ability range to see how far can it go. His scanning ability now can reach 900 metres since he could reach the bottom floor.

Asfa took his phone out to find anything related to the hotel's security. He got shocked because the hotel got an almost 100% rate of managing situations like this. There were countless past articles that mentioned how the hotel always managed to win against the bad guys.

Suddenly, he received a message from the old man.

"I remembered that you are now at the Blue Diamond Hotel. Don't do something stupid. Let the authority handle everything. I will answer your question tomorrow. Stay safe, kid."

The authority is still negotiating with the villain's leader, but Asfa can see above a group of armed people sneak quietly into the hotel from the upper floor. From his observation, the armed group were not ordinary since there were traces of mana on their bodies.

"Stop wasting your time negotiating. This will be the day this building fall. Give us want we want in an hour, or else we die together!"

Surprisingly, the authority didn't falter at all at the threat.

"Captain, we are already inside. We secured the perimeter, and there were no bad guys there."

Bryan is the leader of the special squad specialising in fighting against terrorists. He has done this for almost a decade without failing even once. But this time, he got anxious a little bit since the villains didn't demand anything meaningful. They are prepared to throw their lives to kill everyone inside the hotel.

He commanded them to start the operation since the villains might start killing or bombing the hotel.

Legion is a special forces unit trained and made by the military to conduct special operations. Due to some circumstances, only 6 of them are available for this operation, but Bryan has to be one outside to oversee and observe the situation.

Only Sword, Shield, Bow, Dagger and Spear are free for this operation. Shield has to lead them inside since he is the oldest member of the Legion, even older than Bryan. Due to his reserved attitude, he lets Bryan be the Captain of the Legion.

"Boss Shield, are we good to go now". Four of them are looking at Shield to see if they can start hunting the villains.

There were armed with the same military uniform, but everyone had their own weapon and helmet. Shield carries a giant white coloured shield on his back while the others have their own weapons according to their name.

Shield talked with his communication device for confirmation, and then he told the others to equip themself.

"We got an hour to subdue them, remember to do it quietly and make sure to not hurt the innocent people here. This is an order!"

They start moving once the building starts losing electricity to make it harder from being detected during the operation.

They started to move when the electricity shut down. Shield would be handling the defence. Hence he would always be in front of the others to protect them. Sword, Dagger and Spear would do the offensive matters while Bow would be on standby to hit from behind.

Asfa has been observing them from above. He wanted to learn how these people fight against them while being outnumbered. In reality, he would try his best to assist them with his ability so that he could leave this place as soon as possible.

With the intel of the hotel's cameras, the Legion moved down the floors smoothly. There were also drones outside the building hovering around to monitor the movement of the villains.

Upon reaching the 23rd floor, the Legion will be facing 6 armed villains with heavy rifles. Surprisingly, they put themself into a formation before rushing out of the stairs to confront the villains. The villains shot with their rifles, but they were blocked by a giant shield covering the Legion from in front.

Shield slams the first terrorist with his giant shield while the others slaughter the remaining terrorists with their respective weapons.

"It was over in less than 10 seconds! They all know how to use mana to boost their speed and finish it in a single strike." Asfa was impressed by how the Legion struck. It was swift and flawless.

The Legion moved quickly to the next floor and used the same tactic to deal with the 7 terrorists there. Since they were outnumbered, Sword and Spear took 2 people simultaneously, and they did it effortlessly. He then realised that the drones outside must have blocked the terrorists from communicating with each other.

Half an hour later, the Legion was only a floor away from the bottommost floor. For some reason, 'Shield' told them to stop. 23 terrorists were waiting for them down there and they were fully armed with rifles, RPG launchers and heavy machine guns. Their leader suddenly roared something with the haler.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, do you guys think we would submit that easily? As someone chosen by the Shadow King, it is our destiny to die here." He smashed the haler on the ground and started to chant something in a weird language.

While their leader was still chanting, the Legion barged in from the emergency exit. They scattered around to deal with every terorists there.

"Sword! You deal with the one with rifles. Bow, get the one with RPG launcher, and the you two follow my lead." Shield rushed himself to stop the leader from finishing his chant.

Sword pours his mana into his weapon and disappear.

[Flash Steps]

He then appears behind one of the terrorists. Everyone with the rifles there stopped moving then their heads fell to ground.

'Bow' pulled out her bow without equipped it with arrows. Arrows of mana starts condensing from the bow she held. She then released the red coloured arrows.

[Meteor Arrows]

The arrows released then hit the one with RPG launcher. Some of the terrorist hid behind the stone pillar there, but those arrows simply bended and hit the target. Anyone who got hit by the arrows exploded.

Shield is now in front of their leader and his bodyguards. Those bodyguards shoot at them, but 'Shield' blocks them with his shield. 'Spear' and 'Dagger' immediately use [Flash Steps] to take down those bodyguards.

'Shield' then throws his shield toward the terrorist's leader to stop him from completing his spell.

Just before the shield hits the terrorist's leader, he falls to the floor.

Asfa's expression changed immediately. The moment the spell casted, he saw dark green coloured mana released from terrorist's remains.

"We need to get out now. It is the forbidden skill, [Corpse Explosion]. Run!"

'Shield' commanded them to run away from the building.

The Legion left the building as if nothing had happened there.

Asfa realised that the authority failed so badly this time. The other customers do not know what just happened since the lights were still down.

"Should I run away too.. But how.. The drones are still out there watching.."

He could go down by jumping through the balconies. But, he would be caught immediately since no one else ran except him.
