"Dammit!" Alon screamed, repeatedly punching the wall as tears begin to pour from his eyes while behind him Tsuna and Dain look at him with a mixture of pity and sadness. Marina was in a separate room crying her eyes out while Rachel and Henri comforted her.

"I told them to stay out of it, I should have tried harder to save them!" Alon muttered as he planted his head against the wall, contemplating hitting his head next which earned the concerned look from the two once more. Taking a deep breath, He grabbed his helmet and put it on with a frightening click!

"Where are you going?" Dain asked stopping Alon from exiting the room.

"Killing them all," Alon answered with a blunt look. "I'm tired of running, I want to go out there and kill them all."

"Alon."

"I'm serious, they want a terrorist? I'll give them one." Alon moved his hand away and walked out of the room. Perhaps the pressure from the last few days had finally caused him to snap, and the deaths of their parents had been the catalyst for him to finally come to this self-destructive conclusion.

"Alon!" He was about to turn and snap at the person but to his surprise it was Marina, her eyes are puffy from crying and was clear she wasn't done.

"Don't go!" She said pulling him into a hug. If I couldn't save our parents I should at least try to save her, Those were the first things that came into Alon's mind as she pulled him close into a kiss in some desperate attempt to stop him but he stopped her and gently pushed her away.

"I have to avenge our parents, I have to kill them all," Alon said ignoring the terrified look on her, and to an extent, Rachel and Henri, faces as Alon just walked away and made his way into the main hangar where the ReZio had finished refuelling.

But just as Alon was about to walk towards the Mech, everything went black.

The first thing that Alon saw was the sight of ceiling of the Medical bay and he found himself bound to the bed. "What's going on?" Alon asked in disbelief as he began to pry his hands out of the zip ties on the bed.

"We don't want you going on a rampage," Rachel said as Alon turned to find Rachel being accompanied by Gabrielle who was armed with a stun gun just in case Alon was violent. Alon took a deep breath and looked at the Nurse and their fellow operator. "So what's going on?" Alon asked, he was upset that they had chosen to subdue him but now that he managed to clear his head a little bit from what happened.

"The evacuation is still ongoing," Rachel nodded at Gabrielle and the latter began to cut away the remaining zip ties on the bed. "Can you Pilot with a clear head?"

"I can fight." Alon nodded as she handed him a helmet. "What about the others?"

"Dain, Tsuna, Ars and your sister—"

"She's out there!" Alon shouted in shock, he noticed Gabrielle raise the stun gun as though contemplating whether to shoot him again or not. "I'm sorry it's just that after losing them I don't want to lose Marina out there." He sighed as he ran his hand through his face.

"I know what you two are going through, but you need to keep a clear head and focus on defending the ship." Rachel said gesturing for Gabrielle to stand down. Alon nodded as he put the helmet back on and made his way back into the hangar where everyone is still busy preparing the transports for the evacuation now and then the ship would rock from the explosions that were happening now and then, Wu spotted him and ran towards him with a tablet on his hands.

"You ready to launch?" He asked handing him a tablet that showed the overall state of the ReZio.

"Get me a pair of those Physical Shields with Kinetic Gatling Guns and then I'll launch," Alon said looking at the ReZio status, all weapons have been reloaded and all weapons have been upgraded to have an increased shot count, additional thrusters were added to increase the mobility.

"Let's do this."

As he flew into the battle shooting down the Mechs and Fighters, Alon can see that the defence is going very poorly since he had been unconscious. Kusanagi has been destroyed, meanwhile both Sunrise and Reckoning have now reached a critical condition.

The first thing he saw was an incoming Kataphract armed with a pair of rifles, Alon gripped his controls and flew right into the line of fire at a speed that the Alon from a year ago would have suffered but instead, he managed to endure it and impale the Kataphract in the chest and bisected the Mech in two and then proceeded to kick the Kataphract into an asteroid as it exploded.

"Glad to see you're back!" He turned to find Tsuna in the Ame-No continuously firing his twin rifles taking down multiple mechs in the process with the shotgun and the sniper rifle he is fitted with. Alon meanwhile was busy bombarding a squadron of fighters using the kinetic Gatling guns,

"Less chatter and more fighting!" He heard Dain through the communications. Alon grunted as he flew back deeper into the fight. While he effortlessly took down more mechs, some were difficult implying that they were piloted by far more experienced mechs.

But not a sign of Marina and the L.A.M.I.A. can't be seen anywhere.

Alon's blood boiled as he saw the Zio-N flanked by a squadron of Kataphracts and Zio's this resulted in Alon rushing towards them despite the possibility of those Kataphracts and Zios being heavily armed and having veteran pilots of both the Orthos Legion and the Sisters of Peace.

"Liyab Inokawa!" Alon shouted through the comms as he impaled the first Kataphract with the Gun-Blade while aiming the Vulcan Rifle into the second one's chest at point blank range, a third Kataphract began to open fire at Alon but he used his Kinetic shields to block the fire and then proceeded to unload it into the enemy Kataphracts to the point where they began overheat forcing Alon to discard them by throwing them towards another Kataphract causing it to explode causing the remaining four Kataphracts to scatter.

Liyab and his Zio-N surged forward, his Kinetic Katana clashing with Alon's Gun-Blade.

"We meet—!"

"I don't care about your rivalry bullshit! You killed my parents and you'll pay in blood!" Alon said through the proximity communications.

But before Liyab can respond, Alon had proceeded to parry his blade and knee the cockpit area hard sending the Zio-N back and losing one of the rifles in the process but Liyab used this as an opportunity to fly away from Alon who proceeded to hunt him down with the Vulcan Rifle dodging and firing back with his shots.

"Dammit he's too fast," Alon commented as he caught up with him and attempted to cut him down with the Gun-Blade but he blocked with his Katana. "I don't care about the Memento Mori or any of the politics! I want you to die!"

"Then you're surprisingly pathetic," Liyab taunted, parrying his Gun-Blade and then aiming his Buster Rifle at it as he blasted it in two destroying it in the process forcing Alon to click his tongue and fly away and pull out a beam sabre. "If you're that reactive over that simple of a death then you are not fit to be a soldier."

"I never was a soldier in the first place!" Alon retorted as his Saber forcibly cut through his last Katana forcing him to rely on a Beam sabre as well. "It was thanks to the actions of your people I was forced to fight for our lives."

He swung downwards damaging the torso armour of the Zio-N but not enough to leave critical damage to the mech but he fired another round at the ReZio damaging the waist part and would have gained far more lasting damage to the ReZio had Alon not moved away as the remaining Kataphracts finally circled in around him forcing Alon to deal with them.

"I don't have time for this!" Alon said as he readied the Vulcan Rifle and the Beam sabre, one of the last remaining weapons he has in stock.

He flew forward and impaled the first Kataphract in the chest, holstering the sabre he grabbed the Istarian-made Beam rifle the Kataphract has and began to fire it alongside the Vulcan rifle shooting down the second Kataphract in the process.

The first Zio that he had fought with was far more difficult, but unlike his ReZio or Liyab's Solar Powered Zio-N, the enemy Zios are only fitted with Kinetic Weapons almost similar to the ones used by the Memento Mori Zios as such Alon allowed them to dance around him for a moment until he shot one down with his Vulcan Rifle with ease.

They're still under armoured. Alon thought as he fired the remaining rounds of the Kinetic Rifle and continued to shoot down the weak spots of the Zios instead of relying on close-quarters melee combat. However, the third Zio saw through his combat patterns and attempted to shoot him down but to his luck, he was able to shoot off his left leg further damaging the already damaged ReZio.

"Watch out!"

Alon turned to find the L.A.M.I.A. Flying towards them at breakneck speeds and began to unleash a volley of missiles and shooting down the last remaining Kataphract and Zio in the process.

"Glad to—"

"We'll talk later, we need to deal with Liyab." Marina said through the communications flew by Liyab and blasted him with another volley of Kinetic rounds and missiles distracting Liyab and allowing Alon to close the gap and lock blades with him with his Beam Saber meeting his Kinetic Katana.

"I've had enough of that fighter!" Liyab said as he kicked Alon to the side and fired at point-blank range at the L.A.M.I.A. Alon screamed in horror and distraught as the Marina crashed into another asteroid killing her instantly.

She's gone. Alon gripped the controls as his vision felt blurry from the tears at it finally began to fill his eyes. She's gone! Alon thought as he wiped his tears and bit his lips to stop them from quivering. With his shaking hands, he flew towards Liyab as he had gained this blind rage that made him disregard the damages done to the ReZio and the fact that he had begun to disable every limiter. He didn't care if he died then and there, all that matters is that he would kill Liyab Inokawa.

He crashed into the Zio-N with the sabre in hand and sliced off the remaining pieces of additional armour that the Zio-N was equipped but Liyab quickly retaliated by firing his last Buster Rifle at Alon at near point blank range chipping off the last remnants of the ReZio's armour and flew off.

"Don't you dare run! You son of a bitch!" Alon shouted and chased after him as he continued to fire his Vulcan Rifle at him while Liyab would retaliate by firing back at Alon. Eventually, Liyab was the first one to run out of ammunition causing Alon to discard the Vulcan rifle and lunge at him and draw both Sabers onto him.

But Liyab was faster and was still in better condition as he dodged the attack and swung his Katana at the cockpit area of the ReZio. Alon covered his eyes as the entire cockpit was violently ripped apart with a handful of shards embedding itself into Alon with a large chunk on his abdomen. Alon let out a shout as he and the ReZio launched one more time and this time sliced off the arm that held the Katana while he used the second sabre to impale the cockpit area possibly killing Liyab as the Zio-N finally went limp causing Alon to let go of the controls as he and the ReZio float lifelessly outside the Trojans.

I did it… Alon thought as he started to break down crying. But...I couldn't save them.
