Hades separated from Day and entered a different path.

Even thou he walked dipper and dipper inside he didn’t see anything, but his battle senses told him that, there was definitely something here

He wasn’t the least bit afraid however, there were very few animals, monsters or even people who could threaten his life.

Day was already high in power compared to most of the people in the continent but even he wasn’t taken seriously by Hades.

At first look it may seem like foolish arrogance but that was his confidence, coming from survival of numerous situations who could have killed almost anyone else.

Hades continued to walk for several minutes but nothing attacked him, he however didn’t lower his guard, it was his habit to always be ready for a fight, even if he didn’t give that impression.

Soon he saw the path before him split once again, he just randomly chose one and went in, there was really nothing much to think about, tracking wasn’t his strong suit, as he walked he felt something and immediately moved to his right, but as he turned he didn’t see anything.

That of course didn’t mean his instinct was wrong, the place he was just standing in had a fist print in the ground.

But Hades didn’t feel in danger, surprise attacks were something every single person should expect in any fight, what made Hades vigilant was that he couldn’t see or sense any living being near him.

He summoned his weapon and bent a little taking a stance, he really didn’t like to entertain his attackers, and there was something that they must have forgotten, his goal was not finding them or even fighting them for that matter, his goal was to find Night, he put a bit of strength in his legs and dashed forward.

He continued dashing forward for five minutes or so and suddenly stopped, now he knew something was definitely wrong here, this tunnel was way too long, and whats more he was almost sure that he was going in circles.

Hades face darkened, he really didn’t like being a mouse in trap.

As if listening to his command the temperature in the whole tunnel dropped.

Since Day wasn’t close enough to get caught in the attack Hades decided to get a bit serious.

The spacious tunnel he was in started shaking.

From the walls hands started to come out and things with human shape, but no facial organs started to come out.

Hades{Golems}

Seeing them Hades finally figured it out, it was not that his investigation methods failed, but these guys werent alive, and when they combined with the terrain they were made off they became like a part of nature, as far as concealment was concerned, golems could be said to be one of the best, if you are not looking specifically for them you wouldn’t find them.

Hades let out a sight ”this is gonna be troublesome”.

He gripped his weapon and even before his opponent could get close to him he dashed forward, the golems started to get destroyed left and fight, these guys werent something that can challenge him.

In the span of a few minute after constant destruction more than half should have been destroyed, but their number didn’t dwindle, the reason being unlike living opponent these guys had only one vulnerable part, the rest was made of dirt, as long as the vulnerable part wasn’t destroyed they would be ok, but the troublesome part is that Hades had no way to locate it.

But Hades wasn’t scared even for a bit, there was no doubt in his mind that he would win, while fighting he was even thinking of Day, and if he should go and join with him again, cause even if golems were easy for him, for Day they might be fatal, but as he was thinking of what he should do, he sensed danger and suddenly dodged, and air blade past next to his cheek.

The air started to gather, air golems appeared, seeing them Hades didn’t get nervous but instead relaxed.

After all even though Golems were tricky opponents, he was confident he would win, but that didn’t mean that they couldn’t hurt him, so his attacks until now were just bait for their real attacks, and the air golems had taken the bait and were now revealed.

All the Golem ran towards him, but Hades just lifted his Hand in air, the temperature in the air started to drop drastically, seeing this the golems started to exert even more energy in their attacks, of course the reason they didn’t do so till now was cause they couldn’t sustain it for long and would self-destruct at the end, but they knew that if they didn’t stop what Hades was doing that end would come sooner anyway.

Seeing them running towards him Hades just smiled.

Hades ”Freezing air”.

As he said that the temperature dropped immediately, he could now see his breath, around him sounds of crashing started to resound, the whole place he was in was completely frozen there wasn’t much ice that you could see, except for ice spikes, but everything was almost turned into ice itself.

The earth golems which were running towards him were frozen in place while the air ones, which used air attacks were getting completely destroyed from failing from the air, but that wasn’t the end of his attack, in his hand a little red ball was now rising the temperature of everything around it.

He casually threw it at the remaining golems and it exploded, but it wasn’t a normal explosion , there was no smoke or fire that remained after the attack, but all the previously frozen golems broke into small fragment and fell onto the ground like a broken mirror.

Hades took a look around the cave, no more golems were left.

He continued to walk forward, after contemplating if he should Join Day he decided not to, after all Inferno was with him, if something happened he would surely intervein.

As he walked forward Hades finally understood what was going on before, the golems were using the dirt of this underground cave to change the tunnel, now that they were gone his exploration became much easier.

After a few more minutes he reached an open space which couldn’t even compare to the one before, he immediately prepared his weapon, from the ground hands started to grow and lifted the rest of the body.

Like zombies trying to escape their grave earth golems started to rise, the air started to condense as well as air golems appeared, that scene was almost exactly like the previous one.

Excluding the numbers which were much bigger the only difference was that there was now one more type of golem.

Its body was made of pure flame enveloping its core, with the same blank face and human body like the rest but the heat around it was no joke, the whole place filled with those three variations, they had the scale of a small army.

Behind them a giant flaming ball the size of a dragon appeared, it soon condensed and turned into a huge fire golem, Hades was like a cat in front of a human before it.

Seeing this however he just smiled and slightly shook his head, {this just wont do}.

He didn’t know if the opponent knew who he was, but since they had Night they probably did, Hades wasnt like Day, after seeing the golems, a man-made product in a monster cave, he was sure there was someone behind this, probably the one who was responsible for the magic in the city as well.

Since neither the monster cave nor the magic in the air were something that seemed to be natural, and making either one was extremely difficult, the chance of these two things not being related were slim.

But on the bright side he considered himself lucky, after all now as long as they finished what was happening here their initial goal would probably be solved as well, but what pissed him off a bit was something else, they really underestimated him.

While he was calmly taking his time the golems were running towards him at full speed, the huge one threw a giant flaming ball towards him, but Hades didn’t even pay them any mind.

Before they could close in he took a sprinting stance once again and shot towards the flame giant like a bullet, running on the bodies of the other golems, almost completely ignoring them, his speed now was faster than when he fought Day, this was close to his current limit, and it was stupefying.

It didn’t take him more than a few minutes and he crossed the huge space which was occupied by a small army like it was just a short street, the golems couldn’t even keep up in the slightest at this point.

As he arrived in front of the giant flaming body, the moment he stopped all the golems turned and tried to attack him, even the huge one in front of him, it tried to raise his food to stomp him, but before he could Hades put his hand on it.

All the flames in the giant body disappeared, the humongous core Inside started to fall down, it tried to gather flame again but couldn’t, when it fell on the ground is broke into pieces every single one being the size of a human head.

To Hades who had seen Inferno in flame form and experienced the terror from back then, this giant human shaped flame just looked cute.

Hades turned around and looked at the rest of golems, they had stopped for a minute as if trying to understand what just happened, if they had mouths now they would be hitting the floor, the giant golem who could incinerate a small city, just disappeared like it was a candle in the wind, but that didn’t prevent Hades from taking actions, he once again raised his hand.

The moment the temperature dropped it was like the golems had finally registered what had happened and tried with all their might to kill Hades.

Hades again disappointedly shook his head, only a few words escaped his lips, but every golem in the cave could hear them, like they were scythe of the reaper coming to take their heads, if they were humans now they would be frozen in fear.

Hades”Freezing Air”

The scene from earlier repeated itself, in less than a second everything was frozen still, the body of the fire golems had completely disappeared, their cores just like the air golems fell and broke, the little red orb in his hand looked bigger than the previous one and with clearer color, he threw it and as it exploded in a wave it once again shattered everything frozen in pieces.

Behind the place the flame giant was standing, a door appeared.

Hades casually walked through it, like he was coming from a shop after buying groceries.

He was once again in a tunnel but what surprised him however was that on the ground next to the wall a blond boy was resting.

Hades looked surprised ”I have to say I am impressed, you reached here before me”

When Day saw him he let out a breath of relieve, he felt safer now.

After his fight with the Cerberuses, he went further into the tunnel and more appeared, at the end there was even a Cerberus much bigger than the rest to which he had thought he would die, but surprisingly he had managed to win, even he didn’t know how, the moment the giant Cerberus was about to bite his head off it slipped and fell giving Day the chance to kill it.

That was why when they arrived here with Inferno, the cat told him to wait for Hades as he would probably appear here as well, since they were other doors except the one he came from which were probably the ends of the other tunnels.

Day wanted to find Night but he agreed, he knew that the fight earlier was his limit, if there was something stronger than that, let alone Night, Hades would need to save him as well, but he still didn’t want to waste much time, so he decided to wait 30 minutes for Hades and then continue forward none the less.

Unknowingly after they left the prison the kid had started to see Hades as someone reliable, Hades had proved his reliability (Day knew he couldn’t blame Hades for Night since he knew his brother).

The irony however couldn’t escape him, the one who needed to be saved before(he) was now doing the saving, and the savior (Night) was in danger, while the previous obstacle (The Prison Lord, Hades) was now his best chance of saving his brother, Day could only make a bitter expression at his own uselessness.

But he didn’t think too much about it, he just needed to improve, he let ought a deep breath, he felt like shit, so he decided that they would really go to a city for a break after they solve this completely unrelated problem to them, to save those bird brains.

Unlike Hades, Day really didn’t care what happened to them, if he had such pity in him he and Night wouldn’t have lasted so long.

But as he was thinking where they should go, not even ten minutes later Hades had appeared.

Day stood up, and clapped his clothes a bit to remove the dust and dirt from them.

Seeing how much blood and brain mush there was on them, Hades could guess that unlike him Day had fought for real, he was just glad that the kid was okey.

After Day finished cleaning himself a bit, since he didn’t want to give Night a heart attack after seeing his brother looking like a digested tomato, he started to walk forward with Hades.

Both Hades and Day were paying complete attention to their surrounding expecting something to attack them, but their expectations didn’t come true, they continued to walk that way for a few minutes and soon another door appeared before them.

Hades took the lead, and Day stayed behind them, it was highly probable that since they didn’t see any monsters so far, that they were all in the next area but as they opened the door they all looked stupefied.

Night who was shoving meat in mouth turned and looked them.

He smiled brightly with the food in his mouth ”BROT.HER YO. A.E FINA.LY ,gulp, HERE”

None of the three guests knew how to react here, they just looked like they had no idea what was going on, Night didn’t seem scared, hell he even seemed to be enjoying it.

Which made Hades and Day have complicated feelings, while Inferno wondered if the pact would activate if he threw a chair at Night instead of directly punching him.

Ivan who had offered to come eat again after watching them fight for a bit, cleaned his mouth with a napkin, and stood up, he was sitting opposed to Night on the table.

He looked at them, and slowly clapped his hands.

Even if nobody knew what was going on, they all could tell that he tried to looked evil here, but looked like a retard instead.

Inferno looked at Day in confusion [this guy looks like an idiot, is Night really in danger ]

Ivan looked at the cat and smiled brightly ”now that is just rude”

Before he could even finish the sentence Day had already transformed and Hades took a fighting position which he hadn’t taken during the whole fight with the golems, even inferno looked ready to fight.

They all had the same thought which made them wary .
