Day woke up, in what looked like a nobles room, the bed was comfortable like he was in a cloud, his body hurt a bit but he didn’t feel any injury, he was just fatigued and felt like an old man, as he took a look around the room he saw Night sitting on a chair laying his head on the bed, and Inferno was sitting in the corner just smiling at him.

[finally awake, so you got drunk on my power, huh maybe you werent as good god-servant as I thought you would be] Inferno said Jokingly.

[Yes, it looks like I am not a good saint] Day said with make-up smile on his face while looking down, he might be a kid but his circumstances made him grow , so he admitted when he was in the wrong, even if he didn’t like it, or wanted to do it.

Seeing this Inferno frowned deeply and said dejectedly.[you, know I am joking right]

Day [yes, but I am not, at the end the power made me feel strong, too strong I don’t know what happend]

Inferno just sighed [Kid, that was not unexpected]

Day stopped looking down and looked at Inferno with questioning gaze instead[what do you mean]

Inferno[ well if anything it was normal, the reason why there are different levels to god-servants, and why not many could go beyond a saint is cause simply put, our power is too much for humans to control]

Day make up smile now contained feeling other than dejections directed at his god, one which didn’t seem to give Inferno a comfortable feeling.

Day[what do you mean cant control, you said there were other god-princes, and even God-kings]

Inferno[well yes, but I also said they could be counted on humans two hands, gods power is pure elemental power, or divine power for you, its not magic, and the “divine” stands for gods, humans are not divine however so for you its extremely difficult to control it, let alone use it]

Day[so what would happen if I cant control it at all or if I lose control]

Inferno[well it depends, best case, it will happen what it did now you will pass out, worst cases … well lets not talk about that, it wont happen, I am here after all]

The last part of the sentence really didnt give Day any comfort, if anything it made him more anxious instead.

Day[tell me, I want to know]

Inferno sighted [well.. ok, do you know what magical inside explosion is, this is the same, the only difference being its more powerful and instead of magical its divine]

Day face darkened [ARE YOU TELLING ME I WILL BECOME MEAT FIREWORKS]

Inferno laughed in embarrassment [nah I wont let that happen, we are family after all]

Day really felt like punching this motherfucker, but remained calmed and signaled inferno to keep that part between themselves, as the screaming had awoken Night who was sleeping at Days side.

Night yawned [Brother you are awake, is everything ok, are you feeling alright, do we need to call the doctor]

Day patted his twin brother and shook his head ”no need, I am only feeling tired nothing more, can you go tell the Lord to bring food I am hungry”

Night nodded and ran out of the room.

Day once again looked at inferno, indicating him to continue.

Inferno[once again don’t worry, the chances of it happening are low, the reason you lost control is cause you skipped the first steps and directly jumped to fire-prince, the first steps beside the other reasons make it so the body can adapt, and you learn to control it efficiently starting with little power, then when you adapt your body takes more or you evolve, cause it is your body that determines exactly how much power it will have, it wont take more than it can handle but its still taking its full till the true body limit is reached, which is usually more than the person alone can control, if you reach the limit unless you have perfect control it will go awire resulting in negative outcome]

Hearing this Day had only one question[why did you hid this information from me]

Inferno stopped smiling and looked serous now[you know, I know I am not the smartest, I was locked for a long time and came to the conclusion than in between the four elemental gods I am probably the dumbest, so to say, but I care about you, and even if for me killing a millions is nothing much we are going against almost one-forth of the whole world you know, I am sure of my strength but I am not sure that I would be able to protect you every time, even the pact is not all powerful, so the best option is to make you, yourself, stronger]

Day was surprised at inferno reply, it was actually .. mature.

Day[but why didn’t you tell me about the loss of control]

Inferno[if I did do you think that you would have used your power like you did, even if John helped last time he is busy I doubt he will come again to teach you even if I asked, the first time it was a must as you were a tiking time bomb at the time, the first transformation is always the most dangerous, it’s the first time the body comes into the contact with the elemental power to such a degree, it accumulates, and if you cant shut it down, well you know.]

Day [I see, so John came to stop me from exploding]

Inferno nodded

Inferno[I am not sure, but I think that is the case, as I already said he is busy and whats more he is the guardian, unless its something on a continental level he wont interfere, so I am surprised he even came last time, but the chances of that happening again are low, that’s why he told me to teach you even if he knew that I probably cant do it]

At that moment Tom and Hades came bringing a large variety of food, Night was with them as well.

Day [ Night sorry but can you go bring me orange juice as well]

Night once again exited, as for Tom and Hades he didn’t care about them, they couldn’t understand them either way.

Day [Finish before Nights come]

Inferno[ok, that was why I let you lose, our power is more intuitive than practical, so I knew that if I let you go all out you will learn a bit and can use it to learn more later, and it worked, you learnt how to use them a bit, now you are not defenseless, if you tried to control them when you didn’t know how to use them you would have been limiting yourself resulting in not grasping them, that’s why the arrows appeared when Hades attacked and formed a shield even if you didnt know how to do it, at the beginning letting your instincts go is the right choice, one which you wouldn’t have made if you knew the risk]

This was the first time Day could say that Inferno felt the slightest bit as a God, everything he said was right, Day was impressed, maybe inferno wasn’t so stupid after all.

Inferno[Also letting you run wild should have been fun you as well right, just imagine crushing Hades, desnt it sound fun, THAT IS HOW MY SAINT SHOULD BE ]

Day thought that inferno really should have kept that part to himself, but as he finished that thought Night came with two guards and brought orange juices and other different ones as well.

Day had finished his talk with inferno and started enjoying the food this time, he could feel the taste, this was truly a bliss, now even Inferno ate as he could read the room a little thanks to his connection with Day, this was one of the parts of the connection, they could feel each other.

Day [So Inferno now what]

Inferno [What do you mean]

Day [so what are we gonna do now]

Inferno[I think we cleared that part, we are getting out]

Day[yes, but where to, we don’t really know the cities either]

Night nodded at Days comment.

Inferno[Yes and, you are going with a God, we will walk, we will find the people I want to kill and massacre them, while avoiding destroying the rest of everything, unless they anger me]

Day let a sight out. He told Hades to prepare the things needed for the travel, but only Tom left.

Hades “so you are going on a journey right, can I come with you”

Everyone was surprised. Seeing this Hades explained.

Hades”I just think that I would be useful, and I wanted to take a break either way, you also don’t lose anything”

Inferno thought about it, and once again Night translated.

Night”Inferno agrees, he said you are strong and probably wont be a burden, but you should know that if something happens you can depend only on yourself, he wont protect you”

Hades agreed without much thought, he could guess that far, the real reason for going is cause he couldn’t let this monster alone, it was too dangerous, and even if he cant kill it for now he could help someone, preventing them from dying for getting on its bad side, whats more he had already talked with Tom, and they agreed, the moment they escape Tom will say that Hades left, that way the kingdom would be on alert but it would save the rest of the guards for his actions, cause they broke a lot of rules bowing in front of inferno that was the only way for the rest to be save, he would take the blame for everything that happened and they did since Inferno appeared, that was his justice after all, if you think about it the rest were also just followed his orders, so even if something were to happen later on, once again they could use him as an excuse, that way he would be saving everyone who worked under him, he owed his people at least this much, and he was really getting sick of this prison anyway.

Few hours later at the roof of the highest building, Day, Inferno, Night and Tom were standing.

Hades”Tom you know what to do right”

Tom just nodded without saying a word this time his expressionless face showed a bit of sadness.

Inferno transformed into dragon and let them get on his back, he flew in the air and after a few minutes they couldn’t see the prison anymore.

Night asked a question which was on his mind since they decided how they would go away”but why are we flaying away”

Hades “well its most convenient, and also the safest, if we break through, the kingdom would know something extremely strong was here, even I am not confident into breaking through without harm, its best not to alert them yet, but I am more impressed that you managed to convince the fire god to take us on his back”

Inferno[well Day said It would be for the best and that I would look even more magnificent as a dragon, and I agree that this is the most convenient way as well]

Night translated, and Hades took a mental note that compliments are effective against Inferno.

Night smiled ”so lets see where the sky take us” he was exited he hasn’t flown before, especially on a dragon-god and was the most exited one here, he couldn’t wait to see what awaited them.

Inferno nodded and smiled, but in his dragon form the teeth showing gave a dangerous feeling and the smile looked sinister [lets go see what you weak humans would offer me after ten thousand years]

As he said this he shot forward, flaying even faster than before.

Night[THIS IS AWESOME]
