There was a crowd cheering in a stadium with primitive seats, the whole stadium was made from back rock which didn’t reflect light making it feel extremely ominous but at the same time pieceful and beautiful like starless night, the battle arena which was the size of two football fields was also made from this rock, at one end was standing Hades , on the other was Day, both had uncertain looks in their eyes.

Little before those events had taken place.

Inferno [Day, fight Hades]

Day [as I already said I don’t see a purpose for this dangerous fight]

Inferno [I know it looks like suicide, but..]

Day interrupted him [NO BUTS, I dont know what you are thinking but even you know it is suicide]

Inferno frowned a little [don’t worry, I wont let you get hurt, we are doing it so you can learn a bit about your power, I don’t know how to explain it like John, but I am sure that practice will help, you know I am not laying, not only cause I see you as someone close but cause of the pact as well]

Day was clear that Inferno didn’t want to harm him, but still, this was Hades, one of the four prison lord among the strongest people on the continent, before he coudnt feel his power but now he slightly could and even if that is improvement he was still far from being his match, but Inferno did make a fair point, its better to try to control his power with someone stronger and it would be safe cause Inferno was here, even if he was a bit unreliable he was still a god with tremendous strength if noting else.

Day let out a deep sight.[ok, I am gonna do it but if things go south you will immediately interfere]

Inferno smiled and agreed with assurance as it was expected to be so, Day explained to Hades what was about to happen and the latter just nodded as well, after all its not every day when you get to test the power of saints when they are highly regarded in the Kingdom of Fire, but he still had to be extremely careful not to kill Day, thankfully both of them ware strong.

Tom and Hades announced the dight and then went to the prison stadium for demonstrations, sparring matches and other stuff. This place was now full and overflowing with cheer, after all almost no one working in the prison was weak and all strong people liked fighting, and watching fights, especially when from those fighting, one is of the only four prison lords in the world and the other was a saint, Day decided to keep the fact that he was a fire prince to himself for many reasons, but that didn’t make this event any less spectacular, after all almost no one knew there was something beyond saint.

Hades summoned his weapon and from a shining darkness a trident with only two sharp metal ends appeared, on his body an armor and a helmed revealed themselves, the armor was simple yet gave off a mysterious feeling, the moment he let his power the cheers in the stadium exploded, even more at the same time at the other end, Day transformed, the transformation was stunning to say the least, a red gem with fire inside appeared on his chest, from this gem different colored fires came out and engulfed his body making it grow at a visible rate after which the fires transformed into clothes that fit him perfectly, his face and hair grew and matured, his eyes once again regained the red sun with golden traces in them and his hair became crimson like a blood red flame, once the transformation stopped the flames combined all into one completely surrounding his body like he was wood in a fire and rose him above the ground, as he was floating in the middle of the flame, he gave off a dominance, although much weaker than that of the fire god, it made people just looking at him feel small shivers from pressure, they could feel the power which was leaking of him.

Day wasn’t sure what to do now so he looked at inferno but the opposite side just smiled and gave him a thumbs up, Day started to think that he would prefer any other god than inferno at this point, he didn’t look for encouragement but for instructions, John thought him only how to turn this power on and off, this was his training to control it, encouragement wasn’t needed now, instructions were, what made it worse was that even the red axe and arrows which appeared in his previous transformation didn’t appear now, so he had no weapons at all.

Day{Fuck it, lets go with instincts, its mock battle anyway} but before he could finish his thought Hades was already before him trusting with the metal weapon which looked like a giant fork.

Day{am I dead} he didn’t have time to dodge so he closed his hands but before the fork like trident could hit numerous arrows of fire appeared and formed a circle sticking close to each other forming a shield, even thou it didn’t look very sturdy as it was literally shield made of arrows sticking together it repelled Hades weapon without a problem, but the moment both touched an explosion took place sending Hades flaying back several meters.

Hades “you have a good shield , to manage to repel that attack, not many defensive artifacts could do that”

Day just smiled in response, when they explained what this battle was to Hades they hid the fact that he didn’t have almost no control of his power, and Hades thought this was a spar to test the powers.

Hades “but you should have just avoided, there was no need to take that hit head on, if I used more power you could have been harmed”

Day nodded.

Hades once again started running towards Day, gripping his weapon only with one hand, when he got close to Day he didn’t attack directly with a lot of power, but swung it multiple times fast, traying to go over the arrow shield but that didn’t have an effect, this time the explosions however wasn’t fast or strong enough to send him back so he continued to attack from the front , from above, sideways, slashes and stabs, endless barrage of attacks received Day as their target, there wasn’t any special power except that of the spear but the shield of Day was barely keeping up as Hades was gaining more speed. The shield made cracking noises, the arrows were breaking, the shield was strong cause many arrows were making it but for that same reason as it wasn’t one entity its durability wasn’t high.

After around 30 to 40 strikes the shield was full of cracks and broke into small flames disappearing, but as he was about to hit Day hundreds of arrows appeared, more than half of them formed three new shields the rest attacked Hades from above, the latter spun the fork in front of him blocking the attacks while running backwards, multiple arrows tried to attack from all sides but he swung the metal fork and destroy them before they could reach him, the two ended metal trident wasn’t a usual weapon and was extremely impractical choice for most, but Hades wasn’t the most, and just using it while moving, swinging, rotating and attacking to destroy the arrows above his head and all around his body showed his mastery.

Inferno, Night and Tom were standing at the highest plaice spectating.

Inferno [incredible, this human is really good]

Night mouth almost dropped, Inferno was child like and the only time he said something positive abouts someone power was John, for him humans were bugs for most part, so for him to make a compliment about a person didn’t seem likely.

Inferno looked at Night questioning gaze and explained

Inferno[even if you cant tell just by looking, Day is currently using the fire element power extremely well, those arrows who make the shields are extremely dangerous, they contain concentrated power of flames, they can melt most weapons like butter in front of a flamethrower, they also give extreme heat, even if we don’t feel it, Hades must be feeling like he is in a furnace, Day is safe as he is my god-servent for him the fire that is around him doesn’t have anything negative effect if anything it helps him, I am not surprised about the weapon of Hades not being destroyed cause I can feel the god-of dead power in it, but not many people can wield it to such a degree, anyone other would have been fried till now, not only physically but also mentally, this is elemental power as well, it is not magic, there is almost no way to block it, so one hit and Hades is done, if anything Day has the advantage just by how destructive are the flames, but looking at this and you can tell that this isn’t the case at all]

Tom however looked extremely unimpressed, he had seen his lords power and knew that currently Hades wasn’t even taking this seriously, he was even giving advice to his opponent, its obvious he wasn’t even traying.

Hades “the arrows are fast, but you are controlling them too directly, try to deceive with some and attack with others”

Day was starting to breathe heavily, he finally got a bit of understanding of his power but he still couldn’t control how much power he put into the attacks, so some were strong and others were weak, but at least there was improvement and he was starting to get the hang of it.

Day waved his hand and the arrows disappeared, instead a fire formed in his palm and turned into two handed battle-axe, the beautiful burning blood red flame weapon gave off feeling of pure savagery, created not to kill, but to destroy anything in its path, it made you look afraid, the spectators who were cheering stopped and felt a feeling of wanting to run, the axe made them feel like a child in front of an angry adult.

Meanwhile Tom asked the other two, “that axe, does it have a special power of soul pressure”

Inferno just nodded in response.

Tom “incredible”

“usually weapons with god power in them could manifest different special abilities, some repeat but there are unique ones as well, but one thing which is common is that the special powers are extremely dangerous, and in between those “soul pressure” is extremely rare, usually rarer doesn’t mean more useful for special powers but that one is extremely good, anyone who is weaker than the user would feel overwhelmed, and in a battle this feeling usually leads to dead as it makes the opponent only want to run and be unable to think right” Tom explained for Night who looked at him with questioning gaze.

Hades “Useful weapon, but can you use it better than the arrows”

Hades ran at Day like he was shot from slingshot, the axe didn’t influence him at all, Hades wasn’t weaker than Day after all. Day swung the axe and tried to cut Hades in half, the latter however had faith in his power, he took the hit between the blades of his trident and moved his body, he let the axe hit the ground and hit Day with the hilt sending him fly back.

Hades “I have to say I am impressed, this axe is heavy, but you don’t look like you can wield it right”

Day stopped in the air he took his ground in the air again, he wasn’t experienced with an axe the most he had wielded was old knives or swords, so he couldn’t wiled it like a weapon master, he came to only one conclusion

Day{I need to use the fire power}

Day was far from Hades and his chest hurted.

Day{was this really the hilt, how powerful is he}

Day lifted the axe and slashed at the space in front of him, a giant flame blade with the size of a plain flew faster than a bullet, it went past where Hades was standing, even the black rock making the stadium cracked a little for the first time.

Hades appeared on Days side and him again in the waist, this time he put more power into it and Day bent sideways and crashed.

Hades ‘”not bad, you know you cant defeat me with weapon skills so you tried to use elemental power,… but do you really think I would be lord if something of this level can hit me, come on, show me more”

Day hit the floor making him spit blood, Night face darkened.

[DIDN’T YOU SAY THAT HE WOULDN’T GET HURT, HELP HIM] Night screamed looking at Inferno.

But instead of Inferno Tom answered instead.

Tom had guessed what Night was screaming and explained.

Tom ”don’t worry, Hades knows what he is doing, this is a sparring he is not serious at all, also that attack just now may seem like something strong, but to god-power which saints use its nothing ”

Night looked at Day with concern in his eyes, but if inferno didn’t do anything Tom was probably right.

As he finished that thought Day rose and started floating again, the expression in his eyes changed.

Day “… ok I will try to be more serious this time”

A bit of rage could be heard from his voice, he really didn’t like being swung like a rag doll.

As he said that the heat around him started to increase, now the people sitting far away could feel it a little as well. Day was finally letting loose, he previously was careful cause he didn’t want his power to go out of control which could lead to killing Hades mistakenly, but looking now this was foolish of him.

Hades smiled and took a stance for the first time.

Day swiped his hand and a little white flame appeared everywhere, including where Hades was standing and with a snap of Days fingers it detonated, he was afraid his power would kill everyone here like a charged bomb but after a bit of thought inferno was here so Night was protected and as for the rest, well even if it might be unfortunate if they died he wasn’t too concern about them.

Huge explosions started resounding, they engulfed the whole stadium.

Inferno smiled[that is more like it, the Fire prince should be like this]

The smoke made it hard to see, but for the stronger people the sound the explosions made was worse, cause it made their sense go into disarray for a second, Day waved his hand and the sky filled with fire arrows, with a move of his finger they all went downwards hitting everything, it was like a giant gatling gun was shooting down from the sky, their numbers couldn’t even be compared to before, there was no safe space in the whole arena.

“yes this is better” Hades appeared beside Day and hit his back with the handle again, Day was sent back again but this time he managed to handle himself before he crashed, but he was hurt.

Hades smiled ”but its still far from enough”

Day looked a bit gloomy he really didn’t know why no attack made it through, his senses told him that Hades wasn’t fast enough to dodge his attacks, a fire rotating circles appeared around his body and in the air around him, the three in the air dispelled the smoke and started chasing Hades, he really wanted to hit him at least once, but the latter just ran dodging them, like it was childs play, after a few seconds he smiled and started to run towards Day.

Day decided that floating near the ground wasn’t a good idea anymore and floated higher into the air, so Hades wouldn’t be able to touch him, but in just a second Hades had disappeared from the chasing circles and appeared near him in the air, he attacked him again sending him crashing into the ground.

Day immediately stood up and with the wave of his hand all the flames into the stadium gathered in front of him, the fire was just slave to his command, his face was covered in dust but all could feel, he was angry. The flames combined and their color changed, soon they started to take form, the shape they took was that a of an oriental dragon, it looked menacing to say the least, its body was made from dark red, looking like it was made from old blood not from fire, its size was that of half the stadium, it opened its mouth and let out a deafening roar staring angrily at Hades, all the spectators covered their ears, their eyes looked blood shot from the sound, the Dragon made out of crimson flames flew at Hades at an amazing speed.

Hades changed to the blade side of his weapon and started falling towards Day, a little bit of dark blue energy appeared on his two ended trident which clashed into the humongous dragon head which had opened its mouth as to eat him alive, the moment they collided Hades fall stopped, if anything it looked like he was being pushed back, the Dragon wasn’t alive but it looked angry, it tried to shallow this fly but it couldn’t, it couldn’t devour something not even 1/50 of its size, but Hades smile disappeared as well, he finally had to be a bit serious, or he wouldn’t be able to handle the dragon, the muscles on the arm holding the spear bulged, Hades clenched the spear hard and then pressed it again, The dragon roared, crackes started to appear on the whole stadium, as if it wanted to prove its strength, after a few second of both sides traying to win the battle was over, the dragon struggled with all its might but the trident destroyed the head and started to fall down destroying the body, Day who was standing below didn’t move, he seemed like he wanted to take the hit head on, but as Hades got near and Day was about to be hit with the weapon fire barrier surrounded Day and when the Blade crashed into it Hades was repelled far back crashing into the wall receiving damage.

In the stadium Night was hugging his brother who looked to be passed out standing.

Inferno [ok, lets stop it here]

Night who was hugging Day looked angrily at inferno, looking for an explanation. Days body had tuned normal again.

Inferno[don’t look at me that way, Day used too much power when he couldn’t control it properly, he started breathing heavily long ago, it looks like he got drunk on the power leading to taking more than his body could handle without training, so his body shut down to protect itself, leading to passing out, but don’t worry he is not hurt, my power already healed him]

Inferno looked at Hades and made Night repeat.

Night this time repeated exactly what Inferno said as he was still looking at Day with concern, not thinking what he was saying

Night’’ ’Human the God of Fire admits you power, for a human, be proud, now lead us to a room so we can let Day sleep, when he wakes up we will leave ’

Hades bowed and let Tom lead them but before they left he apologized.

Hades’I am sorry I didn’t want to make him faint, I wasn’t even using all my power”

Inferno answered him and gave him a look which showed the pure fire in his eyes, there was no anger in it only power, but Night was the one who translated.

Night”I know you foolish human, if I didn’t, you would have long since disappeared”

After Night finished they left, the crowd was already out of the stadium since the moment they saw Inferno on the stage.

Hades looked at them leaving{I know that, fucking monster}.
