The Fire prince was floating in the air, not knowing what to do, he didn’t know why but he had a feeling that if he moved even a finger, he would unleash a powerful attack which he couldn’t control, and something similar did happen resulting in inferno crashing into the prison wall, so he just stood still, waiting for Inferno to do something, while the latter was barely not jumping around with joy.

This was his first, ever, Fire prince so he couldn’t contain his excitement, even thought it was risky few people could become a saint, but even fewer could become princes or princesses, to the point of all people becoming princes and princesses being able to be counted on the fingers on humans two hands, it was that rare, and we are not talking about the current number of them in the world, but the number of them like a whole, that lived from the beginning of time till now, it was that uncommon.

Prince and princesses were the pre-final step for a god servant, it was far beyond saint, even though saints were rare, it was just the beginning for the god servants, using power from a god. Being a Saint meant, you have the characteristics to use the god power, but they still could use only around 5 procent from their gods power, after saint there were God-child, God-prince and the final, God-King, they could use more power of the God they served, making them even more powerful, even completely ordinary child could beat the strongest human if he was a God-King, that is how much power they could receive from a God, so far only three God-Kings have ever existed, even fewer than god-princes, but every one of them could be considered half-god at the final stage, so its normal that such power wouldn’t be easy to gain, for a person to become a fire-prince is extremely unlikely and difficult, and for a person to skip the first two steps, saint and god-child, after becoming a god-servant this was, the first case ever.

Inferno took a few minutes but calmed down, he was in the clouds from happiness, but he couldn’t let people see him in that light, even though it was bit late now, he recovered his expression and spoke with a smile.

Inferno[I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised to see that you are a Fire Prince, this is a joyful occasion, we should celebrate tonight]

Days patients has run dry at this point, he didn’t know why, but the person in front of him took his sweet time to talk, and considering he was floating around like a bomb-baloon, that might explode any moment he wasn’t in the best of moods.

Day[can you do something about this first, I don’t know how to turn this power off]

Inferno [hahahha , of course, I can tell you, you just have to … ]

Inferno suddenly stopped talking

Day[…so, tell me how ]

Inferno was still quiet, he wanted to talk but he couldn’t, now that he thought about it, he didn’t know how to do it, Gods were already born with complete control over their power, and as for anything else, this was his first ever Fire Prince, he didn’t have a clue about how people control their god-power, but he really didn’t want to admit that, so he needed to think of something and do it quick.

Inferno [well, you just, you know, you have to control it, do it with your body, yea do it with your body]

Day closed his eyes and smiled brightly, he was usually extremely calm, but he really want to kick this god in between the legs, it was obvious that Inferno didn’t have a clue what he was talking about, so he came to a conclusion, if he couldn’t figure out how to control this power, he would throw it all at Inferno and hope for the best.

Inferno felt chills from Days smile, this chills werent from fear, or because of power, but, and he didn’t know why, but the smile Day had made him feel strangely uncomfortable, he could guess his explanation probably wasn’t the best, but he really didn’t know what to do, gods werent all knowing, even the god of knowledge didn’t know everything about the universe, let alone he who was a fighting god, God of fire. But after thinking for a while someone suddenly popped in his head, Inferno let out a heavy breath, {it seems I don’t have a choice} he thought.

Inferno [JOHN, COME HERE] he shouted with all his power making the air and the ground shake, this was the only way he could think of solving the situation now.

John [no need to shout, I am currently mainly watching the gods on earth, so even if you just called me quietly, I would know]

John suddenly walked in from behind Hãdes, Night, and Tom.

John[but to be honest, I didn’t think I would need to come here again barely several hours after I left]

All the attentions in the room was focused on him, everyone had different thoughts however ,Hades and Tom couldn’t feel any power from him, but they knew he wasn’t ordinary and even their well developed instincts were telling them, to be even more careful around him than around Inferno, but the one who was most focused on him was none other than Day, he could never guess he would meet John so soon, he wanted to talk to him to figure him out, but John didn’t give him the chance.

John got close, around several steps before Day.

John[I will be quick, close your eyes and focus you attention around the middle of your chest, in the diamond, then tell me what you feel ]

Day did what John said, it was a bit difficult, however he focused his thoughts around the chest and he suddenly felt like a fire was burning there, he told John everything.

John [now imagine that this fire, is a lightbulb with a switch key connected with it, switch it off ]

Day did what he was told, this was even more difficult but still manageable, and as he switched it off, he felt the fire going out and his body slowly returned to his original appearance, he wanted to use this opportunity to speak with John, but he didn’t get a chance.

John now faced Inferno, the latter was feeling pressured, and this time, there was just a little bit of fear, cause he didn’t know if John would take this situation as him causing harm to the kids, but luckily for him it wasn’t like that.

John[Inferno, Day now knows how to switch the power on and off, it is up to you to teach him how to use it, use explanations in similar way like me to guide him, I know you will do fine, now I need to go]

John disappeared once again, all people here stayed silent for a while, as Day and inferno looked to be deep in thought , Night however didn’t like that so he broke the silence.

Night [So Inferno, how about you explain what happened]

Inferno came out of his thoughts [ok, I will do that, but how about we get out of here first, I doubt you would want to stay in this cage more that we need to]

Night translated Inferno intentions to Hades and the lord took them to one of the facilities in the prison, and told the people working inside not to disturb them, this place was the prison cafeteria, but it looked more like a five-star restaurant. They sat on the table and Inferno starter to explain to the boys what had happened as they were eating, cause both Night and Day were starving, and couldn’t eat for one reason or another till now.

Night was putting as much food as he possibly could in his face till listening, while Day had a bit more restrain and paid more attention to the story than the food, Inferno told him how rare people like him were, but Day still couldn’t figure out something.

Day[I see now that I am rare, but why were you so happy about me becoming fire prince, whats so special about saints, and celestial servants to make a God smile like that]

Inferno wasn’t angry about the lack of reverence in the voice that a servant usually had towards a God, and even felt happy to answer

Inferno[well Saints and above are the real celestial servants , priest, high-priest ,pope those are titles that you humans made, for us our main power do not come from your believe in us, for us believers are like stray cats, we don’t dislike them or anything, but those roles are made by you, not by us]

Day frowned[so what is so different about saints]

Inferno[saints, or celestial servants are actually those chosen by God, that is why they can access our power, the higher title, the closer it means you are to the God, and more power from us you can use, the strongest celestial servants, God-Kings can even summon their gods for a limited time, and there is the biggest difference]

Inferno thought for a second how to explain this part, after a few minutes he looked at the full glass in front of him, took a breath and continued talking, for the first time, feelings from unknown origin could be heard in his voice.

Inferno[unlike priest, and even thou we call them celestial servants, it is more like Gods family than an actual servant , Gods don’t have fathers, brothers, sister, sons, or things like that, for us we cant reproduce the way you humans can, after all we are eternal, so celestial servants are the family of the Gods, once you receive our power we form connection with the receiver, and it could be said that you become our family, you are in a certain sense, our children, that’s why we don’t help other people much, but we always help the receiver, or saints, the stronger the connection, the more power you can use, and the closer we feel to you, even now Day you might have not noticed, but from the moment you received my power, if you focus you would probably be able to feel a connection with me]

Inferno looked at Days eyes with a smile, there were few things he missed to mention intentionally, but what he said was the truth, since the moment he gave his power, he started feeling much closer to Day, to the point of not getting angry for Day not speaking respectfully to him.

Day was surprised, but he focused and he could really feel connection to inferno, it was weird, he didn’t know when it had started, but now that he looked at inferno he felt a bit, like he was looking at someone, different and at the same time similar to Night, a family, but Day wasn’t naïve, if the push come to the shove he would sacrifice Inferno without a second thought, he knew for the Gods who didn’t have actually family it was important, but for people who had mothers, brothers, kids this connection was just superficial, it was not real, compared to his real family Inferno was dog shit.

At that moment Night who was still eating like a pig, chimed in.

Night[so, how much power can Day use]

Inferno frowned he forgot about Night for a second there, he might feel closer to Day but that didn’t include Night.

Inferno[do you even know what manners are]

Night took a chicken leg and intentionally bit a bit chunk, before gulping it all like noting.

Night[nope, and I don’t care, so how much power can Day use ]

Inferno turned his eyes displeasingly and answered with dissatisfaction[20%]

Now it was Night turn to be surprised.

Night [the fuck, isn’t that too little]

Inferno[no its not, that’s 20% from God power, even the next level, Fire-King would allow him to use at max 40%, you cant wield more with human body, this is the limit]

Day [well even with 20% I felt immensely stronger, I cant imagine how strong I would be with 40% procent]

Inferno looked at Day with a strange smile, which creeped the kid out.

Inferno[its normal, the reason why we call the people with that power, kings and princesses is cause after the God you serve, you are the people with the strongest control of that power, that is also the reason why there can be only one divine servant for a God at a time, but don’t get too arrogant, there are still people stronger than you] As he said this Inferno looked at Hades, he might be a God, and he wasn’t in any danger from him, but even he had to admit that Hades, was a monster, he might be human but his power was beyond human limits.

But he wasn’t too surprised either, there were many stronger species on this continent than humans, but they were the ones that ruled, it just proved how much potential they had, that is also why gods paid more attention to them than any other race.

Inferno [ok, I told you all about what you want to know, now its time for you to do the same, I haven’t been around for a long time now, and you are my guides, so whats new on this continent]
