《I Became The Dungeon Master》Chapter 6: Humans Truly Are Trash
Advertisement
The guild master looked up at the door at the frazzled Lily. "What's going on Lily? Calm down and tell me what you need or else I won't understand."
Lily sitting down took a few deep breaths. "We have a situation, something I haven't seen in all my years working here."
Being as calm as possible Lily explained what had just happened.
The guild master stood up and walked to the window. "A new hunter hunting 74 Kobolds with stats that should be far from able to accomplish those feats. I have a bad feeling about this. Keep a watch on her and report everything to me. I'll look into her on my own too.
Lily nodded and headed back to work. But the guild master stood his mind growing weary of the news.
.
Over the next 2 weeks Eve would hunt constantly to raise her rank. Flying through quests after quest. Rumors of a monstrous newbie became talk of the town although Eve had no idea it was referring to her. Everyone was talking about her. Her achievements were heard everywhere in the town. People made theories on who she was, some said she was the bastard child of a fallen noble and had been trained but was now a hunter, others said she was a past soldier now turned hunter. But no one knew the truth, her existence was a growing fact in that town, and even spreading to the rest of the kingdom.
Lily had a new surprise everyday. A new monster that Eve shouldn't have been able to hunt laying in front of her. Or a number of monsters even a seasoned pro would have a hard time gathering. A new report to the guild master everyday became commonplace for Lily.
"W-Well Eve, you have now ranked up to B rank. In the span of 2 weeks." Lily said with a tired look on her face. She was even more confused than the others, having to experience it all first hand.
"Thank you!" Said Eve happily. Oblivious as always to everything around her. Eve had been constantly hunting, spending more time doing quests than actually enjoying the city she had been staying in. The smell of monster blood still lingering on her even after washing countless times.
.
"Now that I'm B rank I should take a break. I need to get a deep cleaning to." She said sniffing herself. Walking in the city was so relaxing for Eve who had been fighting constantly. It was her first chance in weeks to let her guard down a bit. Following instructions she had gotten from Lily she arrived at a bathhouse. Inside was large and beautiful. It looked as if it was made for a noble even though it was in the commoners area. Walking to the front she paid and went into the female bathing area. It was truly amazing in her eyes, Eve looked in awe at the decorations and pristine look the bathing area had. Steam in the air from the heated water. Most likely from magic, but it was so advanced. If she was told there had been another like her that came up with the idea she wouldn't have a second thought in believing. Rinsing herself off and cleaning she felt refreshed after so long. Her skin that had become dirty began to get soft and smooth again. Her long White hair started to shine again, being free of the dirt and gunk that had been too hard to get out before. Rinsing again she went into the bath. The magic heated water felt perfect, it was incomparably better than the bucket of lukewarm water at the inn she had to bathe with.

Finishing up cleaning she washed her clothes and left the bathhouse. Just as she stepped outside she heard a commotion.
"You disgusting Demi Human trash, how dare you get in the way of someone as noble as I!"
Quickly Eve ran up to see what was happening. Making her way through the group that had started to watch she finally saw what was happening and it horrified her. A well dressed man kicking a curled up girl. Weak whimpers and pleads for help escaping from her lips, but the people didn't seem angry at the man at all, in fact they weren't watching out of pity. They were watching out of joy from her pain and disgust for the poor girl!
Quickly pushing the man away Eve picked up the girl in her arms. She looked at her head and saw ears familiar to a dog, her body frail and malnourished. "You, why are you hitting this poor girl!" Eve said glaring at the man, her blood lust leaking out.
The man flinched at the blood lust, it felt like it was surrounding him. "D-Do you not see It's ears, how dare a disgusting demi human get in my way, it's probably some runaway slave. It's just lucky I didn't kill it." The man said arrogantly.
This made Eve furious, how could he treat a poor girl like this just because she wasn't fully human, because of a pair of ears.
"You are disgusting!" She yelled at the man, Holding the girl as she began to walk away rubbing the girl's head. "Human's truly are horrible." Eve said quietly.
"Who do you think you are to walk away from me!" The man yelled at her. "Put that thing down and leave it here and I'll spare your life." He said smugly as his guards walked towards her.
"She is not a thing, Back off, I'm not gonna give her to you."
"Don't say I didn't warn you enough, grab that thing, I could let off some stress, and grab the woman too, I'll give her a good lesson on how to listen to those above her." He said, a smile creeping on his face as he looked up and down Eve's body lustfully.
"You truly are trash." Eve said, glaring at him and his guards. Laying the girl on the floor Eve started to stretch.

"What are you doing, some stretching isn't gonna save you, I do like a girl who struggles though."
"I had just got the smell of blood off of me too." Eve said with a sigh, drawing her sword.
The guards also grabbed there swords rushing at her In unison. Swinging their swords which Eve blocked almost effortlessly, redirecting their attacks with a little bump of her sword.
"Heavenly demon sword style." Quickly the guards were overwhelmed, barely able to block her attacks with their full strength, every hit sending pain through their body. But they couldn't keep up as she kept growing faster and faster, until. "Fwoop" Their heads rolled.
Their bodies fell to the floor in one clean cut. The man falling backwards in fear and shock. Eve walking up to him fear filled his eyes.
"P-Please let me live, I'll do anything, you want money right? I can give you money. Power I-I can give you that too. A-anything you want if you let me live!" He said, his voice shaky as Eve stood over him.
"Don't get in my way again. You're not worth any more of my time." Eve said, walking away.
The man began fuming. "Not worth your time? Do you not know who I am!?" He thought to himself. Realizing her back was now turned quickly he grabbed his dead guards sword. Running to her as he swung the sword.
"HAHAHAHA, DIE YOU VERMIN!"
Within a second Eve had twisted her body, pulling back her leg kicking him in the side sending him flying with her monstrous strength. Surely shattering his side instantly. As he flew hitting a wall his body crashed through it.
"Disgusting to the end, you're worse than this little girl could ever be. Humans truly are the worst trash." Eve said as she picked up the girl. Quickly leaving the area.
Everyone who was at the scene was in utter shock, they couldn't comprehend what had just happened, a noble's son had been beaten up along with his guards one sidedly, and all for what they believed to be a disgusting lower being.
.
Eve quickly went into her inn hiding the girl the best she could, laying her on the bed, gently rubbing her hair. "Please be okay." She said sitting by her.
.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY!?" A man dressed in noble's clothes yelled as he threw a bottle at the messenger.
"S-sir viscount please calm down." The man pleaded as he laid on the floor in a bowing position.
"Calm down? After my son got beat up by some lowly commoner for an even lower thing, that failure couldn't even win with two master ranked swordsmen by his side! I had to use the favor I had been saving with the church just to keep him alive." He shouted, his voice echoing throughout the manor.
"T-then why don't we hire someone to do him in, there are plenty of assassins that could if we paid the right price."
"It's her. the one who defeated them all was a girl who didn't even look in her 20's." The Viscount said with a shamed look on his face. "My idiot son said she was a beautiful woman with white hair that looked like the moon light, and scarlet eyes. Go and find her and bring her here, we must repay this disgrace!"

Binary Soul
So let's say there's this girl. A young girl who happens to be a highly-trained, psionically-gifted, nanite-infused, genetically-enhanced and emotionally unstable assassin that doesn't know the concept of 'mercy' or 'holding back.' Let's say she and her imaginary friend miraculously pass through the borders of reality into an alternate universe, crash landing into a world of swords and magic aboard a starship full of high-tech wonders. Now, let's also say the first person this borderline psychopath meets happens to be her doppelganger - a highly gifted mage who happens to have a few problems of her own, like a bad temper or a bad habit of chronic self-delusion. With me so far? Good. Now, what's the on the agenda for these two different people who happen to be the same person? Settle down, start a family and thoroughly enjoy life. Maybe get married and have some kids. How about befriending a violent alcoholic or defeating an ancient evil being? Perhaps kill a few dragons and wreck a city along the way. Anything can happen around the city of Runetap, after all. It's a place where bizarre and strange things occur on an almost weekly basis. The people living there have long abandoned silly things like common sense or minding the details. A giant flaming UFO streaks above the city in broad daylight? That's just another Tuesday. The City Guard even had the form for that, so believe me when I say this. It's your loss if you mind it. This is the light-hearted and fluffy tale of Ellie and Kira as they forge their own path of absurdity and crazyness across a world that often makes little sense. Loosely inspired by the Discworld series of books by Terry Pratchett, even though the author hasn't actually read any of them. Contains yuri, mature themes and the author's personal views on several subjects. Explicit content is kept to a minimum.Does NOT contain slavery, rape, drugs or any other similarly heavy themes.

Post War Rules
Life on Torus Terminal is usually fast paced, but simple. A frontier Terminal has little room for easy living, but the great, circular station does boast shopping and culinary experiences from many Imperial races and cultures. Any star is, by its nature, extremely far from its neighbors. But laser highways, and the great shimmering sails of the light-rider spaceships make the trip into only about ten years. Still, the denizens of Torus Terminal eagerly await the day when the Anti-Euclidean Engine their station is built around finally comes online. Once that is done, they will have unfettered access to the entire Empire. Instantaneous travel and trade across hundreds of stars. Torus Terminal does boast one other oddity: a creature which calls itself Human. As he says, the last of his kind for now. He has made quite the life for himself on Torus Terminal, especially in the darker corners of the station. The elites of Torus Terminal praise his name, for once he took up arms, crime began to fall. What they did not realize was that was because he had claimed the seedy underbelly of Torus Terminal for himself and his own goals. The elites praise him as a paragon of law. The criminals fear him as a ruthlessly clever crime boss. Those closest to him, know him as the General. This story was originally posted on the Humanity Fuck Yeah subreddit, where it evolved from a simple play on a historical figure in a science fiction setting into a full blown space opera. I kind of took it as an opportunity to explore a setting I've had rolling around in my head for years. I also decided that it would be nice to have it in a place where I could more easily come back and edit it later, so I'm reposting it here. Here's a link to the original posting if you're interested: https://www.reddit.com/r/HFY/comments/e9cwpl/post_war_rules/ If my genre and tagging is subpar, let me know. I'm still new to Royal Road and I'm open to help. Feel free to comment and make suggestions, or discuss. I love comments, and so long as we keep things civil I also love criticism.
