Eve's eyes flicker open. A sharp pain in her shoulder as she sits up.

"Ouch! Huuu, System, what's my health at?" She didn't feel as weak as she had the night before. But the pain was still glaringly there.

"Okay, we got a good number of goblin souls yesterday before meeting that beast." Slowly moving her way to the orb she placed her hand as it started initializing.

"This is really convenient, now instead of having to remember everything this is much more efficient. and a really cool title at that." This was going to make hunting and scavenging much easier, along with defense for sure, being able to track everything is much easier.

"That's...Much lower than I expected. But that doesn't change anything. I'll create the squads for now. Hunting Squad 1, Leader Duzz, and have 6 units under him now since we only have 7 Spears. For the Scavenging group, we should probably make another leader, I'll name him...Buzz. And we'll put 10 under him. That leaves 5, put the Great Lion with the 5 goblins, they can wait on the second floor in front of the boss-...System, do we have a boss room? or like...A boss?"

[...We do not have either a boss room, or a boss...]

"So besides myself, 5 goblins and a lion, we are defenseless..." This was bad, how could a dungeon not have a boss room, and barely any defense, the core was a sitting duck calling to any strong people who may stumble onto the dungeons entrance.

"How many souls for a boss room?"

[It takes 20 souls for each boss room, and can either be lower or higher depending on the look of the boss room and also the size. But we do not yet have enough souls for the room or any souls fitting of being a boss beside the great lion.]

Eve got a headache. So many souls were needed constantly. How would she possibly be able to gather that many souls in order to upgrade the dungeon. "System, is there any faster way to get souls? Even goblins are becoming hard to find with how many I've been killing constantly."

[At the current moment there is no "Faster Way", But there is a possible Idea, there are many dungeon masters in this world although the way they got here is most likely not the same as you. But there are also many dungeons that no longer have a master. These are dungeons that have been conquered by humans, but instead of destroying the core, they repeatedly hunt for sport. It is a sickening game humans have grown accustomed to. But if you go there as a dungeon master. You have 2 options. To take over the dungeon as your own, which if done will give you the option to instantly go back and forth, and the second option is to destroy the dungeon, and collect all the souls that have remained in the core.]

"That's horrible...humans of this world have truly gone sick with greed and power. But this is a cool feature, I can gather dungeons and have multiple cities for monsters, although known Dungeons would have to be strengthened right away so that it won't be defeated instantly. But how would I go to one of these dungeons?"

[If you become a hunter it is very possible to gain access to and knowledge of dungeons. Although you will need to hide your race as humans and demons do not take kindly to each other. But for a great system like me that's nothing for you to worry about. This will leave your dungeon mostly undefended though, so it's better to get a defense of at least medium size before we leave. The great lion is a great addition, but that alone with some goblins will not be good enough if someone strikes.]

Eve nodded, but even after a few days it felt like so little progress had been made. "Sure we've got more goblins, but they're too easy to kill, the great lion is our best chance of defense, but if it goes down, all hope is lost."

[There are 2 methods, along with hunting, getting better equipment instead of the Stone spears. Iron is much better although a lack of currency would be a problem. There is also the option of instead of power by numbers, a small group of elite's. Using souls to strengthen a small group instead of relying on weak but numbered units could give a definite edge.]

"That's a great idea, I can get money while adventuring to buy equipment. But having a small group of elite's would give me at least a little bit of security. Unit Management."

"Well turn the hunting group into the soon to be elite's. So that's 7, 1 for each spear we have. Duzz has already been strengthened for times so lets add another 6 so we're at 10. And for the 7 under him, Give them 2 each for now.]

"We're a little short so we'll have to repeat the process for the next time so we also have some souls to spare for other needed things."

So that's what she did, over a span of a week, Eve and the elite group of goblins were constantly hunting. Only taking the nights off to sleep but otherwise it was constant hunting.

"This...Has been a very long week." Eve said as she leaned against a tree breathing heavily.

"Slash!"

Looking over the goblins were finishing off their own kills. There had been great progress only in the span of a week. "Status Window."

"Not only have the units grown stronger with the constant hunting, so have I. It seems like I'll be departing soon."

[Hunter Unit-10 goblins each strengthened by 5 souls. Scavenger Unit- !0 Goblins, each strengthened 2 times. Defensive Unit/The Elites- 7 Goblins, Each strengthened 10 more times than originally. Along with the great lion]

"I think I can leave with some reassurance now. Even the scavenger unit is stronger than average, not to mention every other unit. System, do you think we're safe now to depart?"

[I believe so, even a great lion would have difficulty with that many strengthened goblins, plus the great lion we have which is at least twice as strong as a normal great lion.]

"Then I say we leave in the morning. I'm finally gonna see this world. learning more about this world's civilization will definitely help when I'm creating the dungeons city too."

The next morning Eve packed anything she thought she would need, mostly food and equipment since she couldn't get much else in that forest.

"System, open inventory."

Upon command a bright blue portal opened up which Eve subsequently put the items in. This was another feature Eve had learned about while hunting. It made transportation so much easier so that she could get materials while hunting at the same time.

"So System, how do we get out of this forest?"

[The nearest city is a 2 day trip south of the dungeon. With your current speed you're able to go. I'd take it down to 1 day.]

"Sounds good, I'm so excited my legs are itching to run as fast as they can."

It had already been a day and a half, Eve didn't have as much cardio as she thought so it only took a few hours of running as fast as she could before she would have to take a break. It was a drastically more impressive improvement from her last life though. As they kept walking the trees began to spread apart as a great plain could start to be seen. In the distance a small kingdom could be seen too.

"That's it right? Wow, we finally made it, it's hard to think of everything that's happened, but just over there is a kingdom of people. I have only talked to you for the past 3 weeks, System. But I’ll finally meet people of this world."

[Ahem I think we had fun talking just us]

"Haha, well you're not wrong." Eve said chuckling

Over the past 3 weeks Eve wasn't the only one to change. System did to, System became more friendly and less robotic then when first installed. It had been growing along with Eve and was now like an actual friend and companion than just a tips giver and guide.

"Well then, shall we start this new part of our adventure together?"

[Of course] System said with a hint of joy.

"Then let's head to this new place."
