《Knights of Auran》The Arrival Part 1

Deep in the far reaches of the galaxy, the pillar of light has reached the familiar galactic solar system of our known planets. The pillar continues to stretch towards the third planet from the sun Earth. Meanwhile, Reynolds was driving towards his predestined area when he gets a call from the lab.
“Reynolds.” He answered the phone.
Agent Reynolds, the reality has changed. The head Scientist exclaimed. The Boy has escaped, nothing is going as planned.
“How is this happening?” Reynolds asked enraged.
“I don’t know sir.” The scientist sadly replied.
He looked at the data coming from the four half breeds and noticed constant spike levels fluctuating on Stewart’s brain activity compared to the others. The others imitated his but on a smaller scale, following its patterns simultaneously. It was then the scientist understood.
“It appears, Stewart has somehow taken control of the other half-breeds and changing our reality.”
“Where is this reality’s course heading to?” Reynolds asked.
“The reality seems to loop at a point in time where the boy is hanging off a cliff somewhere. We can’t see anything beyond that, he won’t let us change the reality.” Replied the head scientist
“Keep trying, we need the kid and that stone.” Reynolds yelled over the phone. He shuts off the phone and thinks about where Kevin would be hanging from a cliff.
He then remembers a mountain bike trail not too far from the town that Kevin would go to that he may end up hanging over a cliff. He makes a u-turn and heads towards the trail. The storm continues to pour and the wind begins to pick up. Kevin continues to drive through the hard wind and rain. Kevin heads to the border of the town thinking that he could make it before the Advant Guard surrounds it. However, as he neared the border, he sees the armored vehicles and guards waiting for him. Suddenly a bright light shines over him, he quickly looks up to see a helicopter spotted him and following him as the pilot’s inform those below Kevin’s location. Kevin wasn’t sure of what to do as he would soon be surrounded by the Advant Guard. He then drives past a billboard displaying Gorman’s Mountain Bike Trail at the next exit. Knowing the trail is narrow and not easy for motorcycles to ride through, he takes the chance hoping to lose the guards. He looked through his rearview mirror and sees mike is still following him. Knowing Mike is still inebriated from alcohol he would be sure to lose Mike in the trail. Kevin takes the exit with Mike and the helicopter following behind. As he rode further into the paved narrow trail, the trees begin to conceal his location preventing the helicopter from tracking him.
“Attention, target has fled into Gorman’s mountain trail, we lost visual on him. I repeat we lost visual on the target.” The pilot reported over the radio.
Agent Reynolds arrived at the mountain trail. Unable to go further with his vehicle, he continued on foot carrying a two-way radio with him to contact the Advant Guards as he tried to catch up with Kevin before the predicted incident.
“I’m going on foot after the target, I need back up in case the target is hostile.” Radioed Reynolds to the Advant Guards.
A couple of armored vehicles with the guards inside arrived to the bike trail and also went through the trail on foot looking for Kevin.
The trail lead Kevin upwards where he was next to a cliff guarded by wooden guard rails. The higher he went up the trail, the width was getting thinner almost making it difficult even for Kevin to maneuver through. Mike had enough of tailing and decided it was time to end it. Even though the road was narrow, Mike drives closer to Kevin’s motorcycle and begins ramming it hoping Kevin would fall over. Despite Mike’s attempt, Kevin kept his balance as best as he could. Further up ahead, the branch of a tree breaks from the harsh gust of wind and falls on the trail. Mike tightly fits his way along side Kevin forcing him to be close to the wooden rail.

“You’re going down, ya freak!” Mike yelled.
Mike prepares to ram Kevin off the wooden rail, as they reached the area with the fallen branch, a large gust of wind picks up the branch. The sharp pointed edge aims towards Mike coming at full speed. Mike looks forward and sees the branch coming for him but with his slow reflex was unsure what to do. Kevin sees the branch coming for Mike and despite Mike trying to kill him he couldn’t allow himself to let Mike get killed by the branch. He rams Mike off the trail making him crash into the woods, the branch hits the side of Kevin’s helmet knocking it off his head. The impact causes Kevin to lose his balance as he crashes into the wooden guard rail breaking it as he heads off the cliff. Kevin jumps off his bike and hangs onto the edge of the cliff. The rain and moist soil was making it difficult for Kevin to hold on as he was slowly slipping.
Back at the lab, the scientist were busy working on trying take back control of the four half breeds starting with Stewart as they increased the hypnotic trance. Stewart slowly started to succumb to the hypnotic trance once again. As his brain waves were returning to the hypnotic patterns they were before, the other half-breeds followed. The reality that Stewart once made begins to change showing Agent Reynolds rescuing Kevin from falling.
“Excellent, I believe we have our reality back.” Announced the head scientist. “Make sure his levels are maintained, we can’t afford anymore foul ups.”
The other scientists were hard at work on their computers making sure Stewart wasn’t going to take control of their reality again. Unknown to them, Stewart was still trying to fight the hypnotic trance of their machine.
Back in the wounds, Mike gets off the ground and steps out of the woods to see the broken guard rail but no sign of Kevin. He looked around to see where Kevin went till he heard something.
“Help! Somebody!” Yelled Kevin.
Mike followed Kevin’s voice to the edge and sees Kevin hanging for his life.
“Mike, help me up please.” Kevin pleads with fear.
Mike looked at Kevin for a second thinking about what he should do, but he smiled with an evil grin as he knew what he must do.
“One less half-breed this world has to worry about!” Mike yelled back.
Mike lifts his foot up a bit to prepare to step on Kevin’s hands so that he would let go. Agent Reynolds arrived in time as he grabbed Mike by pulling him away from the edge. He puts Mike in a sleeper hold knocking Mike out. From where Kevin was all he saw was Mike being pulled away, he wasn’t sure what was going on up there. He then sees Reynolds appear looking down at Kevin concerned. Kevin was surprised to see Reynolds here.
“Kevin hurry take my hand!” Reynold yells over the storm as he stretched out his hand for Kevin to grab hold of.
Kevin looked at Reynolds knowing there was no other choice but to get help from him as he realized he lost. Kevin tried to reach for Reynolds hand. Stewart still fighting the trance, can see in his mind Kevin about to reach out for Agent Reynolds help. Knowing that this reality isn’t what he saw he then tried to reach out to Kevin telepathically slightly changing the brain waves on his machine. Kevin was close to grabbing Agent Reynold’s hand when he heard a familiar voice in his head.

“Kevin!” Yelled Stewart.
“Stewart?” Kevin replied in his mind. “Is that you?”
Agent Reynolds looked at Kevin and realized he stopped reaching for his hand and was looking at him as though he was talking to someone behind him. He looked back to see Mike still unconscious so he knew it wasn’t him he was talking to. He then remembered how Kevin was talking to someone telepathically before, he realized it was Stewart.
“Kevin, focus on me and grab my hand before you fall!” Reynolds yelled trying to get Kevin’s attention. Kevin ignored Reynolds.
“Kevin, remember what I told you.” Said Stewart. “You have to let go of this world.”
“Let go?” Kevin questioned himself.
“It’ll be alright, trust me.” Stewart.
Stewart ended his telepathic connection with Kevin and then focused once more on his chance to break free from the scientist’s hold. He maximized his reiki energy, which started making the machine overload. The scientist began to panic as they tried to help the machine cool down from the large surge of power.
“Sir, the Tank is overloading!” Yelled a scientist. “Too much reiki is being fed into the system.”
The head scientists looked back at Stewart seeing that he was the culprit once again to the machine acting up.
“It’s that damn boy again!” Yelled the scientist.
Stewart changed their reality back to what he predicted before only this time he was playing his reality live showing the scientist what was currently happening.
Kevin believing he heard Stewart and that it wasn’t his imagination made the decision to trust his friend. He then looked at Reynolds in a calm manner, Reynolds looked back at him wondering why the calm expression. Kevin let go of the cliff and started falling. Reynolds watched shocked at what Kevin did. Inside Kevin’s Jacket, the gemstone comes to life. It glows and floats out of his inner pocket over his head. Kevin watched as the gemstone creates a round barrier of light around him stopping him in midair.
“Whoa.” Kevin said to himself.
The Gemstone begins to emit a more soothing sound that stretched up into the sky. Out in the atmosphere of planet earth, the pillar of light reached the United States of America stretching towards the state of Virginia into the town of Madison. It detected the soothing sound coming from Kevin’s gemstone and followed it. The pillar of light created an opening through the storm clouds over Kevin’s head. The pillar reached down covering both Kevin and the Gemstone as the pillar of light began to lift Kevin upwards. Reynolds couldn’t help but watch as Kevin was slowly rising before his eyes towards the sky. He tried to reach out to Kevin as he was close enough to grab his hand.
“Kevin!” Reynolds yelled.
Just as Kevin was at a level that Reynolds could grab him, he tried but his hand went through as Kevin became transparent because of the pillar of light’s power. Both Reynolds and Kevin were surprised to what just happened. The light from the gemstone glows brighter and the pillar of light reacts to the stone as it shoots Kevin up into the sky and out of the State of Virginia.
“NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!” Yelled Reynolds in anger, furious that he lost his prized half-breed.
The head scientist was also furious as he watched what happened. He ran over to the main controls of the tank where a large red button enclosed in a case with the words reset. He lifted the case up and pressed the button. The four half breed’s containers began to spray a sleeping agent inside, putting all four of the half-breeds asleep; the tank and the holo screen also shuts down.
The pillar of light led by the gemstone takes Kevin out of planet Earth and into the far reaches of the galaxy heading back to the planet Zonia. Meanwhile back on that said planet, the Knights haven’t discovered any signs of life or Lurkers in the area.
“I don’t like the look of this your highness.” Said Rika. “It’s too quiet.”
The silence ended as the sound of static interference from Vinnie’s intercom blares out.
“Knights…. this is…General de Grandis…over.” Replied the General over their two way radio.
“Princess, it the general.” Vinnie replied as he raised the volume for everyone to hear.
“There’s too many….our men….need help.” The general reported in between the static and interference as they were losing signal.
Soon they lost signal as all they could hear was static sound from the radio.
“We have to save them.” Ordered the Princess. “Vinnie can you trace the general’s last location?”
“I think so, let’s hope it’s still intact.” Vinnie replied as he uses his intercom to track the General and his men.
As they others waited for Vinnie to pinpoint the general’s location, Princess Anya and Rika’s shadows came to life as they were Lurkers disguised as their shadows. They changed their hands into sickles as they prepare to cut the Princess and Rika’s heads off. Caleb happened to notice odd movement from the corner of his eye. He looked to see the shadows about to make their move. Caleb puts his hands together charging them up with energy. As he separated his hands, an energy ball appeared between them. He grabbed it and throws it towards Rika and the Princess.
“Princess, Rika, get down!” He yelled.
Anya and Rika heard Caleb seeing an energy ball heading their way. They both ducked just in time as the Lurkers made their move and missed only to have their heads blown apart by Caleb’s energy ball. Their lifeless bodies fell to the ground, and the group walked up to the bodies to take a closer look.
“So those were the creatures?” Rika asked trying to figure it out.
Vinnie, using his gloves, scans the bodies collecting its information. Once collected, a holographic screen appears in front of Vinnie showing him its findings. The results showed Vinnie a magnified image of their bodies revealing tiny organic but metallic creatures engulfed in an aura of energy moving around. It wasn’t long as one after another the creatures began to cease functioning and the aura of energy faded. Vinnie was impressed with what he saw.
“This is incredible!” Vinnie exclaimed with excitement. “I’ve never seen technology like this. This is truly advance work.”
“Hey genius, instead of marveling at the enemy’s work, mind telling us what’s going on? Caleb retorted.
Vinnie realized he was going overboard marveling at the creature’s body structure and blushed a little from embarrassment.
“Uh yes, sorry.” Vinnie replied. “They’re are made up of tiny techno organic creatures that seem to absorb reiki energy. Without that energy they cease to function.”
“But where did they come from?” The Princess questioned.
Vinnie’s intercom began to beep as it discovered the location of the General and his men. Vinnie’s holographic computer screen changed to a map that was pinpointing their location and how far they were from General De Grandis and his troops. The indicator revealing De Grandis and his men were moving towards their location.
“Uh Princess.” Vinnie spoke getting the other’s attention. “They’re coming our way.”
They then began to hear metallic shrills, people yelling and the sounds of gunfire. They looked at the direction to see the General and a few of his remaining men running towards the Knights but turning back and firing at a large majority of their own pale looking soldiers along with Lurkers.
“Princess, we need to get out of here!” Yelled the General as he continued to fire at his men who even though they were getting hit by the bullets they were not going down as they absorbed the bullets and would fire back injuring some of their men.
“General why are you fighting your men?” Asked the Princess.
"Correction your highness, they were our men.” Replied the General.
