Julien feels like his brain froze for a moment, he can't say any word as if his tongue is tied. He tried but stammered and couldn't complete his word.

"That kid is special Vel," the consciousness inside him said. "Yeah, you mentioned earlier and it looks like there is a hidden gem in this civilization. We shouldn't keep our new friend waiting" he said with his hoarse voice.
With a thought, the middle-aged man teleported beside Julien.

Like a lifeline, Sil interjected with his thoughts "Vel, explain first who you are and what you are trying to do, stop with this 'Hello young man' nonsense, go! That boy might collapse."
Julien is not a religious person, however with all these events happening right now what he can only do is pray. He didn't even know any praying chants so with courage, he swallowed his saliva and shouted "Oh Hail Mary, Oh Buddha, Oh God, please, anyone, please help"!
Vel'krim was startled as Julien shouts. He said, "Hey hey, relax, relax! I mean no harm!" He raised his hands gesturing that he meant no harm.
Julien saw all this but his mind completely went blank and one thing just kept running on his mind, survival. When the man raised his hands he again panicked and shouted "Help! Please help me!" He raised his hand like he was blocking a sword. He wants to run but his feet are rooted on the floor.
"I really can't move, is this the end!? Mother father I.. I-I can't even see you for the last time. He is feeling hopeless now.
On the old man's side. In his thoughts, Sil's voice reverberates "Hey Vel, the kid lost it. It's impossible to have a normal conversation. Talk to him using your consciousness.
With a nod, he answered "All right".
With a flick of his finger, Julien lost consciousness. The old man channels his mana to the tip of his index finger and puts it on Julien's forehead, with a tap he enters Julien's consciousness.
