《An Ancient's Leisure》Chapter 25

When Johnny saw Lucy the next day… He saw there was no longer a little life within her…
…
…
“I'm just saying, you should kill her for this injustice.” The tall, thin shadowy figure of the demon says.
“Yeah, bro. She doesn't deserve you. You should kill her and desecrate her body.” Another demon says.
Johnny gulps down the rest of his drink and lets out a sigh. “Thanks, guys. You guys are good friends. Drinks are on me tonight.” He says as he leans over and pats one of the demons on the shoulder.
“Hey, you want to do something wild? We could tempt a few people to offer their souls for worldly desires?” One of the demon says.
“Yeah, man! That sounds fun! What do you think Johnny?” One of the demon says.
Johnny lets out a laugh. “That does sound fun. Seems like work though…” He says.
“Don’t worry about it, Johnny! I know this kid from a college nearby. There’s this girl, and this kid is pining so hard. I mean, he’s super desperate! He’s this close to raping her. We just need some of your aphrodisiac, and his soul is basically ours.” A demon says, urging the matter.
“Yeah, man! Sounds too easy!” One of the demons says.
Johnny lets out a laugh. “You guys are wild. But I like that. Let’s go.” He says before standing up.
…
…
Johnny sits down next to the young man then looks back at the girl browsing through a bookshelf. Johnny smiles and turns to the young man. “How bad do you want her?” He asks.
The young man’s eyes widen. “What are you talking about?” He asks, denying the matter.
Johnny smiles. “I can help you get her. For a price.” He says.

The young man looks at Johnny and shakes his head. “If you had asked me a few days ago, I might’ve said yes, but now, no.” He says with a sigh.
Johnny raises an eyebrow. “Why?” He asks.
“I’ve been accepted to graduate school in another province. I’ll be leaving.” The young man says.
Johnny frowns. “Do you not want a taste before you go?” He asks.
The man lets out a bitter laugh. “I’ve asked myself before if I was that kind of man. But the future I desire won’t allow me to degrade myself. And you’re trash just for asking.” He says before closing his books and putting them away and leaving.
Johnny’s eyes widen, the impact hitting him in his soul. Won’t allow me to degrade myself… What kind of future do I desire…? He wonders. Johnny lets out a sigh.
“Hey, don’t worry, big guy. We’ll get the next one.” A demon says.
“The next one’s a drug addict. It will be like shooting fish in a barrel!” A demon says.
Johnny frowns. “You guys are getting annoying.” He says as two bolts of burning yang energy pierce into the heads of the two demons. Johnny gathers their energy and leaves.
…
…
Johnny lays on a hill, looking up at a sky and lets out a sigh. The fucking peak of cultivation… I’ve reached it… And I’m still a turd… Fuck… Johnny says, somewhat angry.
Johnny’s phone began to ring.
Johnny lets out another sigh and answers, “Hey.”
“Hey! Johnny! Where are you? Me and Lucy can’t find you anywhere. And the car’s gone.” Mary Rose says.
At the sound of her voice, Johnny couldn’t help but smile. For some reason it felt like it’s been ages since he heard something so melodic. “I just went to clear my head. I’ll be back soon.” He says.

“Well hurry. We still need to tour the city. It’s not every day that we’re in Movie Capital.” Mary Rose says.
“I’ll be back soon. Bye.” Johnny says.
“Bye. Love you.” Mary Rose says.
“Bye. Love you.” Johnny says before ending the call. He lets out a sigh. Life’s not so bad. He thinks before stretching and standing up.

The Trespasser
Synopsis Following his di—instincts, David finds himself in a weird situation; the next thing he knows, he's in a different world, dying, and manhandled by a big-ass alien. When the Source comes to his aid, granting him the access that—like every other sapient—he's due, David barely manages to get out of the fight with his life intact, but is that enough? Of course it isn't. The very Source giving him powers is also poisoning him to death. Oh, there she is, the petite female alien. Will that be enough to save him? Of course it won't. If he wants to be saved, he has first to save himself. The only way to do so is by getting to know the world around him, but even before that... Why the bloody hell did I have to be called Deviant!? *** Blurb? Blurb. The Trespasser starts slowly, I believe I've written a decent world, and I want you to find out what it's all about, won't just throw it in your face because of *levels*. I do not like stories that don't make sense. David is not a murderhobo, he respects life and answers to the world and the weird situations thrown at him with irony and sarcasm; so you are looking for easy killing streaks, you will not find them here. So, a man finds himself into the wild? It's a different world, and yet he can breathe its air? Finds himself in a lucky-low-level zone? Oh, look at that, people speak English—how likely is that? So, nope, not for me, gentleman. You won't find anything of the likes here. Again, a man finds himself in a new world but only thinks about the system? Yeah, that's not exactly how it works. David will try to find out what it's really all about, what the aliens want, how they work, why is that Fay really helping him? You can kill somebody to get levels, and yet there is not even a form of police? Not gonna happen here. Man becomes suddenly overpowered in a world where people can live for thousands of years by having enough luck to face only lower-level people? Hahaha—nope. Lastly...Spaceships and fantasy with LitRPG... say what!? Well, what's wrong with that? Let's make it happen, shall we? *** You want even more info? Really? Alright... David will start from the very bottom of the food chain, so there will be a settling arc—it's inevitable. David will find true companions, with personalities and backstories, and they will have a life of their own. There will be enemies, and those enemies will have a life of their own, too; there will be no evil just because. The world-building will have true depth; it will not exist just because the protagonist visits it. There will be both Fantasy and (Soft) Sci-fi—yeah, you heard that right. There will be rationality to every action taken, as long as the characters are aware of what is going on. There will be a godly system. You will come to read because of the world-building, but you will stay for the characters. The dead stay dead, and you will weep for them. There will be no action without a reaction. Lastly, there will be laughs. Are you still up for it? Then get in but fasten your seatbelts because it's going to be a wild ride. *** Release Days: Twice a week Release Time: ~09:00 PM UTC Words per chapter: ~3000 This web novel is also available on other platforms.
