Johnny felt that he's been running out of bad luck lately, so, hoping to gain more of it, he's been browsing the internet, looking for places to stick his nose in.

Leo had sent him the ip links for a few cultivator deep web sites, and Johnny had started to happily browse through them.

Lucy also knew of a few sites, and some sites for demon worshipers and vampires as well.

As such, browsing the deep web became Johnny's new hobby.

Johnny had also killed several vampires previously and he retained all their still-beating hearts. So like a predator hoping to lure innocent children, he began advertising for a chance to become a vampire. He had even placed ads in the newspaper and on trading websites.

Eventually he received a call.

“Hello?” Johnny says, wondering who this was.

“Hi, yes. You placed an ad for a chance to become a vampire?” A quiet female voice says.

Johnny lets out a laugh. “You’re very brave. What gave you the courage to make this call?” He asks, amused.

“I-I-I need power. Lots of power.” The voice says.

Johnny smiles. “How much power? And how much are you willing to pay? Are you willing to offer your soul?” He asks, holding in his laughter.

“W-what!? What kind of question is that? Are you the devil?” The voice asks, feeling the matter was incredulous.

Johnny lets out a laugh. “No, just curious. I wanted to gauge your spirit.” He says.

“I-I’m not willing to sell my soul. But I am willing to become a vampire.” She says.

Johnny shakes his head. In this case, the line would be very thin. He thinks before deciding to accept this karma. “Where would you like to meet?” He asks.

“I-I live around Movie Capital.” The voice says.

Johnny frowns. “I’ll have to fly over. I’ll give you a call in a couple days.” He says.

“Okay, thank you.” The voice says before ending the call.

Mary Rose feels the hot, humid air and frowns. “I told you I didn’t want to go to the Movie Capital, Johnny, but you dragged me here anyways.” She says, displeased.

Lucy smiles. “Come on, it will be fun.” She says encouragingly.

“What can I do? It’s business.” He says before looking for a taxi. “Come on. Let’s find a hotel.” He says as he walks forward.

“Heyo, little girl. I’m ready to meet.” Johnny says before thinking of a matter. “Wait, you aren’t underage, are you?” He asks, somewhat worriedly.

“No! I’m 22!” The voice says. “I’ll meet you at the Rockstar Diner on Marion and Archibald. And don’t try anything! My boyfriend is here and he’s a 5th stage cultivator!” She says, sounding tough.

“Alright. I'll see you there.” Johnny says with a smile.

Johnny brought Mary Rose and Lucy and drove over in their rental.

Johnny picked out the girl immediately, the quiet, pretty girl sitting obediently at the booth with a muscular man with a dragon tattoo.

Johnny went over and waited for the two girls to take a seat before squeezing into the booth. Johnny holds out his hand. “Johnny Smooth, at your service.” He says happily.

Mary Rose and Lucy look at each other and look at Johnny weirdly.

“Sasha.” The lady says in a quiet voice.

Johnny Smooth smiles. “As for the vampire matter. Why do you need power so badly? And why doesn’t your boyfriend just introduce you to cultivation?” He asks, very curious.

The big, muscular guy shakes his head. “I can’t introduce people to cultivation without my master’s permission.” He says, helpless in the matter.

Johnny raises an eyebrow. “But why turn to vampirism?” He asks.

The pretty lady musters her courage. “It’s the quickest way to power. And without it… Without it, we’ll be unable to be together.” She says.

“Who’s keeping you apart? Why would they keep you apart?” Johnny asks, in doubt.

The man lets out a sigh. “We belong to rival gangs. They’d never allow us to be together. Also, Sasha is engaged to the crown prince of the Cloud Riders. He would never let the matter go.” He says.

Johnny’s eyes widen. “The Cloud Riders? You guys are from East Kingdom?” He asks, finding that fate worked in mysterious ways. Suddenly, Johnny was very interested. He was very much in the mood to stir up trouble.

The couple’s eyes widen. “How did you know?” The man asks.

“A friend of mine is embroiled in your war.” Johnny says with a smile before going over the matter. “I can turn you into a vampire and I can even introduce you to cultivation, but I doubt that would solve the root of the problem.” He says, also feeling a little helpless.

“We only need enough to defend ourselves from their agents. We’re prepared to be on the run forever if we have to.” The man says.

Johnny lets out a laugh. “That’s the spirit! Now, as for your choices. Vampirism isn’t an easy path. It might be better to go with a cultivation technique that aligns with the dao.” He says, hoping the lady would be cautious in the matter.

“No! I’m going with vampirism! It’s the quickest path to power!” The lady says with determination.

Johnny looks to the man. “Are you willing to allow this?” He asks. Vampirism would stain the purity of this lady; Johnny wasn’t sure that this man would allow it.

The man frowns. “I have no choice.” He says.

Johnny smiles. “Awesome. Let the vampirism commence.” He says, satisfied.

Johnny Smooth set the mood with some candles arranged in a circle and dimmed the lights. Then he led the lady to the center of the circle.

Johnny gives the lady a stern stare. “On your knees, whore.” He says without a care.

The lady’s eyes widen, but obediently, she gets on her knees.

The muscular man turns to Mary Rose and Lucy and gives them a questioning look. “Is this necessary?” He asks, in doubt.

Mary Rose covers her face. “I have no idea.” She says helplessly.

Lucy let out a bitter smile and shook her head. “No. No, it’s not.” She admits.

“Now open that slutty mouth.” Johnny says.

Sasha gives her boyfriend a weird look before deciding to open her mouth.

Johnny takes out the seventh stage vampire’s heart and holds it above Sasha’s face before squeezing it like a ripe fruit. “Slurp it all up. Yeah, all of it, bitch.” He says as the squeezed blood splatters all over Sasha’s face.

Sasha felt like she was about to cry as she began to swallow a lot of rancid blood.

“Yeah, you like that, don’t you?” Johnny says before throwing the heart away. “Bring over the child predator.” He says.

Lucy drags over a person; he was tied up and gagged, trying to scream and struggle but unable to.

Sasha’s mouth felt dry. A weird energy was coursing through her whole body and she felt very… thirsty…

Johnny lets out an evil laugh. “Feed! Feed my child!” He calls out.

Sasha doesn’t hesitate and pounces on the tied up man, biting into his neck and greedily taking in the man’s blood and life force.

Mary Rose watches all of this with a weird face. Why do I feel like he’s cheating on me? She wonders.
