As they were walking home, Mary Rose couldn't help but sneak a few glances at Johnny. This was a side of Johnny she's never seen before, and although she was apprehensive, she was very curious and very much wanted to learn more. It sort of seems like Johnny had grown up a little from how she saw him before. He was always youthful and bright, but now he seemed more tempered. As for that psychic stuff, she wasn't quite sure what to think about it. In the end, she began to recall the day, how Johnny had asked him out. She couldn’t help but smile. At least there’s one good thing that came from this change! I thought he would never ask me out! She thinks, amused.

“Say, Johnny. What are your plans after high school?” She asks. She had only just started dating Johnny but high school was ending and there were big changes ahead. If possible she wanted to stay with Johnny for as long as she could.

Johnny smiles and looks to Mary Rose, while holding her hand. “Mary Rose, if you go East, I’ll go East. If you West, I’ll go West. I’ll follow you to the end of the world; I’ll never let you go.” He says.

Mary Rose let out a breath of relief, but as she processed the words, she couldn’t help but blush. “Stop! You’re so cheesy!” She says as she turns away.

Johnny smiles, feeling warm in his heart. Love is all I have left. I’ll follow it to the depths of hell and back. He thinks. It wasn’t just determination, it was an instinct, a natural reaction to his situation. No matter how lost his mind was, he would follow love no matter what. He felt that it was the only thing that could save him from his situation.

When Johnny got home, he got to work. He immediately went about setting a spiritual gathering formation in his house. Although spiritual energy would gather no matter where he was, this would also be beneficial to his family. They would be healthier and they would be blessed with good luck. It didn't hurt to do and it would put his mind at ease, so he didn’t hesitate. Slowly but surely, the formation blended into the surroundings. Although the scene looked mostly the same, the arrangement allowed the spiritual energy to flow freely and gather in the house.

“What are you doing?” A voice asks from behind Johnny.

Johnny turns around and sees that it was his brother. “How was work?” He asks casually.

As the question caused Johnny's brother to recall the day, his lips couldn’t help but turn up slightly before going back to normal. “It was work. Business as usual. How was school?” He asks.

Johnny ignored the question and recalling the slight change in expression. “What? Are you dipping your pen in the company ink? Why do you look so happy?” He asks with a smirk.

Johnny’s brother, Aaron’s face immediately becomes flush at the provocation. “What? Who says? Come here, kid. Since when did you get so arrogant?” He asks as he rushes forward to put Johnny in a headlock.

Johnny could only continue to smirk as his neck got caught. “Be careful. We wouldn’t want you reported to HR.” He says teasingly, unrepentant.

Aaron could only smile, his face flush with embarrassment. “You damn kid! What about you, huh? Why don’t I see any girls around here?” He asks, pointing the situation to Johnny.

Johnny quickly escapes from his brother’s hold and puffs out his chest. “I asked out Mary Rose today! We’re dating now!” He says proudly.

Aaron stares blankly for a moment before bursting out into laughter. “So you finally did it, huh? I always suspected you guys were secretly banging when she came over. Who knew you waited until now. Don’t look so proud. All that hesitation, I can only give you 1/10.” He says before turning around and walking back into the house.

Johnny was still proud. Who cares if it took a while? I still won the girl in the end! He thinks as he walks back to the house.
