《The Strongest Weapon Of The Strongest Duo》Chapter 23: Grandma Hina

The two felt an extremely powerful suction force that sucked them away in a whirlpool that make them a little nauseous.
This whirlpool dragging lasted for about an hour before they were released.
When they found out where they are, fear instantly filled their body.
"Zhowen, I don't want to die!"
Xialin was scared as she hold Zhowen's hand tighter. She was still young to die.
"It's okay, I'm here."
Zhowen doesn't want to see Xialin like this, as he comforts her even though he's also scared since he's trembling.
They found themselves falling from the sky at a rapid speed that can be considered a meteorite falling.
...
In the dark forest without any light except for the moon and stars, a couple was sneaking into the forest while being cautious that someone might see them.
"Felix, are we sure about this?!" a sexy voice resounded.
Even though the forest was dark, the man was still able to see how attractive the woman is, in front of him.
"Why?! Don't you want to?" in a seductive voice, Felix asked, as he bit the earlobe of the woman.
"Of course, I want to do it with you."
The woman of course was affected by his temptation, as kissing sounds echoed within the quiet forest when suddenly, the woman exclaimed.
"Felix, look, something was coming down at us?! A meteorite!" the woman said in an alarming voice.
The enticed Felix, reluctantly apart from the woman, and looked in the direction that his lover pointed.
Then he indeed saw something that was falling at an incredible speed towards their direction. The two got scared and they immediately run away.
"I can't die! I can't die when I'm a Mighty God already!" the woman became frantic as she clutch Felix's hand tightly.
"Don't worry, I'll save you! " Felix tried to calm the woman.
They ran at their full speed but the meteorite was faster than them and land on the ground sending terrible shockwaves, destroying half of the forest while sending the couple away.
The couple stand up with difficulty as they were weakened as they were near to the source of the collision.
In the big dent, there was a pair of good-looking children slowly standing up but just tumbled as their bones were actually cracked or injured.
The couple who looked at the big dent was surprised to see that it was not actually a meteorite that fell from the sky but a pair of good-looking children, and from the looks of their robes and temperament, they came from a wealthy family.
The couple began to walk toward the two children as they lift their injured bodies and immediately take them away to bring them to a doctor.

After running for a while, the couple escapes from the forest and arrives at a simple house.
The house was made from ordinary woods and the roof was just a large pile of leaves.
The house was not small, but spacious as it can hold 12-15 patients.
After entering, the couple immediately called for someone, and an old-looking woman came out.
The old woman already has white hair, a wrinkled face, and a crookback. She gives a mysterious and deep aura.
"Who's that child?! Don't tell me that the two of you already have a son and a daughter?!"
"Grandma Hina, you know that we're still not married, so how can it become our child?!" Felix coughed, trying to clarify the misunderstanding.
"Hahaha, just kidding. Let me see the child." Grandma Hina beckoned as she chuckle weakly, maybe because she's already old.
"What?! What happened to these children?! How come they become injured like this?! If not for their robes, maybe these children were already dead." Grandma Hina was put in disbelief as she observe the child.
"Is it really serious?!"
"Can't you see their state? And how did they become like this?" Grandma Hina was really surprised and pity the child to suffer at such a young age.
"We saw them falling from the sky. We even thought of them as a meteorite at first." Felix tried to recall what happened.
"What?! From the sky?! How can it be?!"
"If Grandma Hina finds it strange, then what are we supposed to say then?!" the woman, Girly, said in a teasing tone.
"You have a point. Just leave them to me. I'll just call you when you need to pay me."
"What?! We're the one to pay you?! You know Grandma Hina how poor we are, so where will we get so many crystals?!"
"It's not my problem anymore. You're the one who brings them to me, so you're the one, responsible for them." Grandma Hina ignores the couple as he let her assistant take the two children away.
"Grandma Hina, you're so cruel! You really know our weakness!" Girly said as they heard a chuckle which just make them annoyed.
Then the couple reluctantly left the house.
After making sure that the couple left the house, Grandma Hina immediately let her assistant leave, leaving her and the two children alone.
"You can now open your eyes."
"Instant Heal!"
Grandma Hina placed both of her hands towards the two children, as she heals them.
Then in her hand, there was suddenly a green light gleam which penetrates the body of the two as it arrange the broken bones of the two instantly.
The two children opened their eyes after feeling that the pain in their body was gone.

"Wow, that Normal Skill was actually quite good!" the young boy praised energetically as he stands up. He looks like he doesn't go through the disaster.
"But it's still a little weak." the young girl said in dismay.
Grandma Hina after seeing the energetic two brats actually talking about the skill she just used, becomes stunned as to how can they know that it was actually a Normal Skill.
"Xialin, why do I feel something was off?!"
"Yeah! The energy in this world is so weak. It was as thin as a paper compared to our world!"
"Hey, little brat! Did you come from another world?!" Grandma Hina was startled to hear the two talking. No wonder she felt strange in these little two children.
"Yes. Our city in our world was actually attacked by those disgusting evil spirits, so we were sent here to be safe."
"Oh, then what cultivation state are you in, right now?!"
"Oh, we just start cultivating a week ago, so naturally, we're just in a Strong Maniac State."
"What?! You broke through from an ordinary state within just a week?"
"Actually, it was because the energy in our world is 20 times thicker than this." Xialin explained, just making Grandma Hina expect more.
"Then, I supposed it was really possible. But do you have any crystals to be discharged?!"
"Crystals?! As in currency?!"
"Yes. Our currency here is crystals. Without crystals, you can't even think of living anymore."
"So that's how important crystals are. But actually we don't have that kind of thing. And even in our world, if we just want to buy, we just need to say the name of our parents and we can buy everything."
"Is your parents have a high position in your world?!"
"Yes. Actually, in our city, the master of the city was being called God, while under him is 12 Saints. Both our parents are Saints, so naturally, we can be considered a royal child."
"Oh, how rich you are. No wonder, your robe is powerful and beautiful."
"Thanks, Grandma?"
"Just call me, Grandma Hina."
"Okay. But we don't have any crystals here, so how about we exchange you for a higher skill?"
"A higher skill?!" Grandma Hina said in excitement.
In this world, just to get a Normal Skill was already considered lucky, let alone a higher skill.
"Yes, if that's fine with you."
"Yes. That should do." Grandma Hina, of course, would let the chance slip away.
"Okay, then give us a paper and a pen."
"What are you going to do with that?!"
"Give you a higher skill."
"Are you fooling me?!"
"No, why should we. Just trust us." Xialin tried to convince the old woman since it was really unacceptable to believe them.
The skill normally can be found in a book and a scroll. If it comes from a book, the understanding will be difficult by 2 times. While in a scroll, the understanding will be reduced by half, so normally, people would want scroll rather than books.
But it is never said that anyone can write it down with the same effectiveness. That's why Grandma Hina was reluctant at first, but seeing the seriousness of the two brats, she just let them do what they need to do since she can just beat them when they tried to escape.
The two after receiving the paper and pen began to cooperate merrily as they finished writing after a few breaths.
Grandma Hina still didn't fully believe them, but when she hold the paper, she easily understands the trickiness and difficulties of the skill.
After a while of comprehending, she finally understands and can now utilize the higher skill, A Moment Ago.
She then perform it and was amazed by the effectiveness and strength it has, as she immediately look at the two kids with respect.
"How can you do that?!" Grandma Hina still doesn't want to believe that a five-year-old child like them can easily do that.
"We just analyze the skill and formation and write it down."
"But, how can it become easier to understand as it was just like comprehending a Normal Skill."
"Because you're smart."
"Oh, don't flatter me. I'm too old for that."
"But it's the truth."
"Oh, then thank you."
"Welcome, so can we get discharged now?!"
"Yes, of course."
"Then thank you for your hospitality."
After they leave, Grandma Hina began to grin at her new higher skill.
"Yester! Just wait and I'll kill you!" Grandma Hina cursed angrily as her appearance started to change into a beautiful woman with a voluptuous body.
"Glomer, follow that two kids without letting them know! If you failed, you know what will happen, okay?!" the beautiful woman, Grandma Hina, threatened the small yet exquisite bluebird.
"Tweet! Tweet!" the bluebird, Glomer, chirped as it flies immediately following the two kids, who just left.
"I can't let them leave without getting another higher skill! Those kids are a walking treasure of mine!" Grandma Hina changes her appearance once again into an old woman before continuing her business.
"Don't Trust Anyone Immediately!"

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
8 822Tur Briste
A Druid cultivation novel. Borrows concepts from Wuxia and Xianxia but using Druid myth and lore. More on this at the bottom. Crow is son of Maddox, a Druid with an ancient bloodline and a people with a story spanning toward the beginning of time. Cursed, unfated, and a heap of bad luck have brought him only pain and suffering, but nothing will stop him. Nothing can stop him. A son of Maddox doesn’t bow his head. A son of Maddox understands that only a man with roots, with something to lose, will fight until the last drop of blood leaves his body. The Draoidh were once a proud people. They were both respected and hated for their form of righteousness. Power wasn’t something they gained through the might of their arms, but through intelligence. Their fall was all the more disheartening for the weaker cultivators. The tens of thousands of years that followed… chaos reigned. They forced Draoidh until most fled to the lower realms, nearly wiped out and exhausted. They went into hiding and became known as the Druids of the Oak. The Druid Order wasn’t the powerhouse it had been, and only nine of the major clans survived the calamity. Their bloodline weakened, as well as their prestige. Even the remaining clans fought amongst each other. Already on the decline and near extinguished, the Maddox clan can only struggle for survival, but their foundation wasn’t a joke. Weakened, but not weak. The other clans will understand this difference soon enough. Tur Briste, the Shattered Tower, awaits Crow’s ascension. Reaching the upper realms is only the first step in reestablishing the Draoidh. The Druids of the Oak remembered every betrayal and grievance, and they’ll return to power and reclaim what once belonged to them. The upper realms may have forgotten, but the Druid Order has not. Please Note:1) This is harem story. There are only a few chapters with sex, and it’s not a focus of the story. I’ll only add graphic sex if I feel the story needs it, so not gratuitously. Either way, Crow has several women. This is in line with Druid/Celtic history, and harems/reverse harems were an accepted part of their culture. Further, they had open marriages, meaning the man or woman could end their marriage at any time. While it was still a patriarchy, women had almost equal power. They were a very progressive culture. 2) There is a period of a 30-50 chapters where Crow loses the ability to cultivate like a Druid so he adopts an eastern body cultivation method for a while. This is temporary, but some people feel it’s misleading, so I am pointing it out ahead of time. I promise, the Druid stuff comes back, and 90% of the lore/myths/creatures/gods are all related to Druid/Celt/Irish/Scottish history. 3) I use many original names, most of which are in Gaelic or Irish. In the story, I refer to this language as Ancient. I enjoy all kinds of folklore and myths, so I encourage you to google those original names as they arrive. I give some background on them at the end of the chapter in my author’s note. 4) I use Ogham runes a lot, these are like the Druid alphabet, and they based each rune on a sacred tree so they also have symbolism associated with them. Again, feel free to google that too. It’s pretty neat stuff. Quick Translations:Draoidh = DruidTur Briste = Shattered Tower or Broken Tower Release Schedule:As of Oct 1, 2021- 3 chapters released every Sunday (May have up to two bonus chapters)- Side character chapters… this might be bonus chapters I release through the week. So they won’t count toward the 3 chapters on Sunday.- Please understand I work full time, have two kids, and can’t spare as much time as I’d like toward my writing. Maybe in the future I can switch to doing this full time, but for now 3 chapters is a comfortable pace for me. Lastly… I very much appreciate all my readers and thank you for allowing me to entertain you!
