Dear readers,

I would like to express my gratitude for your readership.

Honestly, I would like to thank those of you who took the time to comment on the story and even provided me with advice, in the comment section, and by messaging.

Some of you might know me from the story 'Aidan Alastair':

https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/31409/aidan-alastair-volume-1

The above story is a rewritten version of another story, started back in 2017. To be direct, it is a stream of disconnected/connected rationales, with the second chapter saving its prose and narrative progression.

In contrast to said book, I've gone places with Ex Legacy. Same preference of rhetorical order, but with more understanding of writing. I'm glad you've been enjoying it so far.

I'll continue innovating and will deliver the story in the theoretical map that I feel is best.

#: Given the tabulation model and details created and developed in writing this story, I will be temporarily unable to deliver new chapters. I have an adequate database for that.

I'll be straight. I could do better with another limb but that is not the case. To provide material of the 'afterword' sort, here are some things to explain what I mean:

As you have noticed with my book - and you might have seen it with Tokyo Ghoul or Franz Kafta's 'Metamorphosis' or any - the story is related to me, if that's an understatement.

As a person, I play Genshin Impact, browse around for personal education, and get up to some reading once in a while. I recently completed a BA English Studies degree, for which I'm proud. Not much outings, nor exploration of business opportunities. Only stuffs were Genshin Impact (Drakensang Online, before that, and actually 2xing anime by right-clicking on video to inspect and configure, for the first two years. Not sure what I did with my working memory back then, but I'll take note if you give any suggestions here.) Took a memory test. Raring to write, contribute and show my passion for physics, in a solid manner.

Last thing I did was give up on Genshin Impact dailies (With that, I'm less competitive in the Spiral Abyss as F2P), unless I'm already in for the game content.

Given the last chapter (C. 19) of Ex Legacy so far, you might wonder whether it would be fine to act out the scenes of Ex Legacy.

Well, my guess is that the default answer is: 'don't be personal'.

That said, it's not like I don't espouse some of the messages in the story.

One reader rightly pointed out the emotional detachment of Ashen Spines. I did develop on what Ashen Spines thinks, thankfully to a better structure than in Aidan Alastair. I wouldn't say that it is a mistake.

By the same token, the emotional structure is important, though, as a joke, Caecus (mentioned in C. 2, actually in Aidan Alastair) would not fit in that narrative.

To make the story adequate, it would not hurt to create specific moments and places for flourishes of discreet words, and for sure, that includes emotional functionality. Towards that end, I will develop on various techniques like personalization and elements of shock.

While Ex Legacy is an improvement from a personal perspective, please bear with flaws in artistic composition of the scenes.

[Content Notes]:

The Covenant of the Holy Mother has two Sects.

The Beast of Babel is a manifestation.

Please look forward to the rest of the story.

Thank you again.😉

My speculations are that I will consolidate my foundations and work on another fiction project in the mean time. I already have an idea. Here is a list of fictions (will edit out the repetitive parts*(1), but you will be able to read them when you want) I have worked on so far on royalroad:

1. Aidan Alastair

https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/31409/aidan-alastair-volume-1

Aside from being a rewrite of a 2017 work, Aidan Alastair has consciously been reworked to give better motivations to the relevant characters. Ex Legacy springs from the last-released chapter of Aidan Alastair (chapter 3 - Act 2: Subscribe to the Mission II) and the chapter series 'usually, oracles are second to heroes and vigilantes'. 'Aidan Alastair' has been influenced by current crypto developments and at the time of 2017, was a writing that did away with many anime tropes. I hope you find the story more interesting with this context, and the trend to get out of such tropes for a more natural integration of these. The underdog tags are now better than in 2017, with less faith-based issues.

2. Looking for Something Appropriate (Currently being editted):

https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/6028/looking-for-something-appropriate

This John Keene guy is a fellow trying to be somewhat egalitarian. (He's not Ashen Spines.) You will see John Keene in many characters, which is kind of a bummer. Too many avatars to kill for a single person. However, ownership cleans things up.

The weird thing, you will find, is that the characters actually talk some sense. That would be a nice valuetainment for you.

I believe it is a disappointment that I did not follow suit on the story, despite the issue of avatars. One thing about John Keene: he is a student.

Dousing in beliefs, rather than anime tropes, you would have to wonder about what parts of which ideas people are connoiseurs of. This is the first work in which I introduced in-text references. It was a good project, which I do recommend. The Art Section in Ex Legacy is a direct twist on that.

#: I'm removing plot points that have already been used in other fictions I wrote, and any plot device which is not required. It is currently a jumble of essays and essential ideas, with the initial narrative.

Quest for the Elysian Fields:

https://www.royalroad.com/fiction/21365/quest-for-the-elysian-fields

If you like POETIC description and an inspiration from Patrick Rothfuss's 'The Name of the Wind', with good shock value and a villainous manipulator, Quest for the Elysian Fields is right up your alley. The battle sequences are dynamic.

If you don't like a greedy villain, you might want to skip on it.

I guarantee its quality and I hope to make this work live up to the expectations, now that I know more as a person.

My point is that I haven't tried cooking a keto pizza, but I know what kind of person would cook one. And it's a good inspiration, aside from legends and actions.

Sincerely,

The author✒
