Once Toroma was done changing from his Kendo room, Fuzumi smiled as he went on her phone and tapped a button. She was going to the uver app that she talked about before. After a few minutes, a car pulled up with an uver tag on the car’s windshield. This tag indicated that this car was an Uver car. Fuzumi maneuvered her hand in a way where it would signal Daizen, Hiroto, Alex, and Toroma to come inside the car. Fuzumi sat down in the back seat of the car, the rest of the three also went into the back of the car. Once they were all in the car, a dark-haired Japanese man with a beard looked back at them in his car mirror. Fuzumi looked up at him as he saw his black eyes looking in the mirror and she then cheerfully said something.
“Kamo mall please.”
The man in the front of the car nodded his head, he stepped on the gas as he drove down the Tokyo roadways. They were driving on the left side of the road, buses and other vehicles passed by. Alex and the others were all squished together, Alex was by the right side of the backseat facing the window. They had all dropped their book bags on the floor of the backseat. Daizen was on the left side while Fuzumi and Toroma were next to him. They weren’t talking, Alex and Daizen were just looking out the window while Fuzumi and Toroma were on their phones playing mobile games or scrolling through social media. The man continued driving, Kamo mall was a very large mall that was about two miles away from the school. It could have taken around forty minutes for them to walk to Kamo Mall so they decided to take an Uver.
After around five minutes, The car came to a halt. They had made it to Kamo Mall, it was a big white mall with a k on the front of the mall cover. Kamo mall was very large, it had four floors, and in the middle, there were a bunch of other stores. They were near the entrance so they were by the middle of the mall and the entrance was a large shopping area. There were over thirty to fifty stores throughout the whole mall. Alex got out of the car first since on the right side there was the door. Since Daizen was on the left side of the backside, he went out the left door. Then Toroma and Fuzumi got out of the car. Hiroto got out last. They all picked up their book bags from the floor. Once Fuzumi was out the door, she turned to the car and bowed and thanked the driver. The driver didn’t acknowledge it and drove off. Fuzumi found it rude but didn’t call it out since there was no reason to anymore since the driver had already left.
Alex looked towards Fuzumi since it was her idea to come to the mall, He then asked a question.
“So where are we going first? You wanted to come here.”
After Alex spoke, Daizen, Hiroto, and Toroma nodded their heads in agreement as they waited for an answer. They also turned their body towards her.
Fuzumi looked up in shock and realization, that she hadn’t thought of a lie yet. In reality, Fuzumi was one of those types of girls that went to the mall to buy one thing and then actually buys a bunch of things and spends an hour or two looking and shopping for clothes and makeup. She quickly thought up a lie, but of course, they were going to get the equipment for the project. There were just going to be some hefty detours.

“This way, um follow me, guys!”
Fuzumi said as she faced the mall, she happily skipped like she usually did as she walked toward the mall.
Toroma walked at the same pace as Fuzumi as he tried to keep up.
Alex, Hiroto, and Daizen let out a sigh, they did this because they knew how Fuzumi was, she was a pretty girl who liked to shop for girly things. Daizen and Alex and Hiroto began to slowly walk behind the other two, Daizen had a bored and annoyed look on his face as he tilted his head, and spoke to Alex.
“I hope we don’t stay three hours like last time man.”
“Same, I know right..”
Hiroto nodded in agreement with Daizen’s statement.
“That would be quite unfortunate.”
Alex said as he simultaneously let out a sigh, as they entered the mall there was a store called Bacy’s. Some escalators and elevators led up and that led down meaning that there were other stores and other parts of the mall. They were on the middle ground of Bacy’s at the moment which mainly had jewelry, perfume and cologne, and toothbrushes. Fuzumi looked around and continued skipping around. Bacy’s had a bunch of stuff in it like clothes, jewelry, games, and children’s toys but all the floors mainly have a theme. Bacy’s had three main floors, jewelry, clothes, and general goods, but then she came to a sudden halt causing Fuzumi, Daizen, Hiroto, Toroma, and Alex to bump into each other. Alex yelped out of surprise.
“Ow, what the f-, What happened?”
A happy gasp came from Fuzumi, her eyes were huge since she was so excited. Her eyes were stuck on a diamond necklace that was a heart and in blue color, the necklace was in the glass. Fuzumi happily screamed as she rushed over to the table where the diamond necklace was sitting. Her yell attracted the people who were in the mall passing by and one of the diamond jewelry workers, who was at the counter. The people in the mall who were passing by gave Fuzumi a semi angry face. None of them lashed out luckily and just continued shopping. Fuzumi held the diamond necklace that was in the glass case covering. She drooled on the glass like a dog who was happy. Alex and Hiroto just sighed, they regretted coming here; they didn’t know why they even agreed to come since Fuzumi acted like this all the time.
Toroma sighed as he walked up to the drooling Fuzumi.
“Hey calm down Fuzumi! You’re drooling on the glass!”
Daizen, Alex, and Hiroto were used to this. Fuzumi have been like this since Junior High so it was nothing abnormal to them.
Daizen then stepped up as he sighed, he went to the front counter and slowly pulled out his wallet. At the front counter, there was a lady with dark blue hair. The lady was medium height around 5’6 her eyes were also a shiny detail to them it was like if her eyes were jewels themselves. She had a name tag, the name tag read “Hōseki”. As Daizen walked up Hoseki, she instantly began to speak.
“Diamonds and Gems, how may I help you today?”
“Yeah, I’ll take that Diamond necklace that the girl is staring at.”
Daizen said this as he pointed at Fuzumi, making his hand into a fist while pointing his thumb at her.
“That’ll be 1-”
Daizen instantly cut her off, he didn’t care about the price since his family was pretty rich. He just showed the woman his blue credit card that had an ice sticker on it.

“You don’t want the price?”
Hoseki said, tilting her head to the right.
Daizen then confidently spoke as he maneuvered his index finger from side to side.
“No, it doesn’t really matter.”
Hoseki shrugged as she took the boy’s credit card, she reached into a cabinet that was behind her and pulled out a golden key. She then reached into the opening of the glass case and opened it with her key. She then reached over to the diamond necklace that Fuzumi was drooling over and grabbed it. Fuzumi's eyes stayed on the necklace as she continued drooling like a little kid. Hoseki then swiped the credit card and surprisingly it was accepted. She handed Daizen back his credit card. She then was about to put the necklace in some plastic case but then Fuzumi interrupted her.
“I-I wanna wear it now.”
Hoseki sighed as she slowly handed Daizen the necklace.
“You all have a nice day.”
Daizen handed Fuzumi the necklace as he nodded toward the diamond worker.
“You have a nice day too.”
Fuzumi brightly smiled as she happily hugged Daizen, she then put the diamond necklace on her neck. It shined off the light, Fuzumi smiled as she looked Daizen in the eyes.
“Thank you!”
Daizen nodded silently.
Alex and Hiroto gave Daizen the death stare since they were jealous that Fuzumi liked him more at that moment.
Toroma brightly smiled also as he commented on the situation.
“Aww, you're so nice Daizen!”
“T-thanks, anyways where to next?”
Daizen said as he patted himself on the back of his head.
Fuzumi tapped her chin as she thought of where to go next. A smirk popped up on her face, she wanted to get clothes so she just said something that she said before.
“I wanna get a pink dress! The clothing section is downstairs!”
Fuzumi said as she began to walk near the nearest escalator.
Toroma quickly followed Fuzumi.
“Wait up!”
Alex spoke in English out of jealousy of Daizen. He spoke under his breath.
“Simp ass dude.”
No one had heard him since no one knew English except one person. That person was Hiroto. He turned his head to Alex and nodded in agreement, then replied in English.
“Agreed. You shouldn’t use English without reason though.”
“Whatever, let's just get going.”
Alex said confusingly and with jealousy in his voice, he then saw that Fuzumi, Toroma, and Daizen were already at the start of the escalator and already going down. Alex and Hiroto quickly followed behind them too quickly going down the escalator. They were slow though since there were other people on the escalator, but eventually, after twenty seconds they got down. Once they were off the escalator, there were clothes everywhere on racks. Workers were walking around and workers at counters. There were three clothing sections, men's clothes, women’s clothes, and children’s clothes.
Fuzumi noticed that Alex and Hiroto weren't behind them so she told Daizen and Toroma to wait up. She waved towards Alex and Hiroto as she waited.
“Hurry up you two!”
Alex and Hiroto jogged quickly as they came up right next to the rest of their friends.
Over the next hour and a half, Alex and all of his friends followed Fuzumi throughout the store as she picked out dresses and new clothes that she wanted. Alex, Daizen, and Hiroto did look at some clothes they wanted but only Hiroto picked out a plain black shirt. It took longer than expected since every green outfit she saw she instantly gasped and ran to it like a moth to a flame. This would have been quite boring for all the boys but instead, Toroma seemed to be more supportive about looking for clothes. It was like Toroma was a fellow girl, but this was only something Alex noticed. After around forty minutes of them walking around and looking at outfits, Fuzumi went to the changing room to change. The four of them waited outside the locker room as Fuzumi tried multiple outfits. Every time she came out to gauge her friends' reactions. Daizen, Hiroto, and Alex trying to leave the changing room just gave a thumbs up and said.
“It looks good on you.”
Toroma told the truth and gave his honest opinion which was weird.
“It looks good on you but the dress is too short.”
This cycle repeated over ten times as Fuzumi went through her outfits and showed her friends. Eventually, after thirty minutes, she finished dressing in all of her outfits and they went, and bought all of them. After Fuzumi bought everything she wanted they all went up onto the escalator that was going back up to the middle ground of Bacy’s, as they were on the escalator they talked about what they were going to do next.
Fuzumi while on the escalator began to talk to everyone else.
“Are you guys hungry?”
Fuzumi said as she held three of her bags.
Toroma thought about the question for around two seconds and then replied.
“Yeah, I could get something to eat, maybe some potato snacks.”
Alex nodded as he spoke.
“I’m down.”
Daizen spoke after Alex and answered Fuzumi’s question.
“I’m actually really craving some Yakitori!”
Hiroto spoke after Daizen agreed with his statement.
“Yakitori sounds good right now.”
Hiroto said as he imagined the skewered chicken dipped in barbecue or buffalo sauce, drool started to drip from his mouth as he imagined deeply.
Fuzumi nodded in agreement as they hit the middle of the floor, one by one all of them got off the escalator and began to continue talking to her friends.
“Alright, we can go to the back of the mall outside. They just added a few restaurants there. But first, we have to get the equipment for the project!”
Alex and the others nodded as Hiroto spoke up and asked a question.
“Where could we get the paper and colored pencils and stuff?”
Fuzumi reposed toward Hiroto, as she replied she began to walk to the middle space of the mall which was filled with shops on the left and right.
“There is a school shop around here, I forgot where it was, guess we are gonna have to look around.”
After that, the five of them went around the whole mall looking for a shop that sold color pencils and construction paper. There were a few detours. The five then went into most of the stores looking at anime figures to clothing to playing video games at a store called Microhard. They were all just having a bit more fun before they would eventually eat, they were real friends and happy. They were all getting to know Toroma and his interests. They found out that he also likes anime. After all of the detours, they went into a shop and bought the tools they needed for the island project. The tools were large construction paper, colored pencils, and a few notebooks.
