《Gnihzur: The Legendary Prokeral God Crow!》Chapter 27 - Drazil & Chirako’s Deadly Collaboration!

“Ok, girls we’re all set. There’s only an hour or so remaining. I think it’s about time we recommence our hunt for ribbons. This time our targets will be our fellow crows.” As Lyra spoke, the surrounding ladies who were resting their feathers on the leaf heaps stood up and got ready to hunt.
The vulture they tried so hard to defeat ended up being done in by the pervert, Mou instead. At the time they hadn’t enough stamina to pursue him thus they allowed him to flee with the ribbons. Now they were getting their feathers in gear to seek out other competitors who might have already acquired numerous ribbons.
“Let’s move out!”
Spreading their ejected wings, Lyra, Adusa, Okami, Baiera, Nagoo and Riuk flew off into the dense forest littered with continuous fallen autumnal leaves.
On another side of Vultures Byte where Eratool, Chirako and Drazil were engaged in an ongoing battle, there resembled a scene of increasing dystopia. Myriads of trees were grazed to the ground coupled with troubling environmental upheaval. Even small parts of the dimension’s fabric were being affected.
“Eat this you long neck plucker! Ultimate Crowzengan!” After issuing a kick to Eratool’s ugly visage, Drazil tossed him another one of his spherical explosive crow attacks which he used before to obliterate Short Stuff to smithereens.
“Useless!” Eratool swatted the Ultimate Crowzengan away like it was nothing and immediately counterattacked with his deadly water spear. “Taste Despair!”
Soon as Eratool tossed his watery Despair at Drazil, Chirako shot out an extended Water Lightning Blade from his right arm. Eratool caught it before it could impale him, moreover, he tugged hard on it to pull Chirako towards him.
“Get over here!”
“Huh, he caught it?” Chirako was briefly shocked.
Eratool recalled his Despair which was on its way to impale Drazil. It took such a swift U-turn that its sharp tip appeared within striking distance of Chirako’s spine in only a matter of seconds!
“Danger!” Chirako had to execute an adroit backflip to avoid suffering a fatal blow. Despair swoosh passed him a couple of inches only to crash into the ground.
“That was close.” Said Chirako with a sigh of relief as he stared down at Eratool’s watery Despair.
“Hm, impressive reflexes.” Eratool told him, “Too bad that you won’t be getting the chance to further develop your skills for you will be dying here today… both of you.” He gave special emphasis to the hothead Drazil.
“Shut the pluck up and don’t get conceited you little prick!” Drazil approached Eratool with a boisterous mien. “I alone choose the time of my death and that time isn’t tonight!” Drazil bolstered his voice and continued, “YOU GOT THAT YOU STINKING SHIT?”
Chirako had to intervene to curtail Drazil’s recurring expletives. “Hey, tone it down a notch otherwise you might offend the readers.”
Drazil retorted to Chirako’s intervention. “Shut the pluck up you damn extra! I’m the main character of this stinking story! Who cares what those losers think? They can’t fully fathom my existence!”

Looking on at Chirako and Drazil bickering, Eratool asked them, “Are you 2 ladies done arguing? If so then suffer my wrath! Water Vacuum!”
Eratool used the water in the surroundings to conjure a tyrannical water vortex that started sucking in his distracted opponents.
“Dammit! Because of your damn distraction, I’m getting absorbed.” Drazil cursed Chirako for getting caught in Eratool’s destructive technique.
Chirako didn’t waste his breath arguing with Drazil, instead, he opted to free himself from the intensive pull of Eratool’s ability.
“Water Style, Water Reverse Vacuum!” He conjured a water vortex rotating in the opposite direction of Eratool’s water vortex. The two techniques eventually cancel each other out.
“Damn him!” Eratool was displeased with Chirako’s annoying interference.
Just after the big splash of water collision took place, Drazil blazed his feathers through falling wetness and caught Eratool off guard.
“Take this! Feathers Red, Angry Hawk Fist!” He smashed Eratool directly in the face then commented smilingly, “How does it feel you, turd bag?”
Eratool grabbed his arm in swift retaliation then responded, “It feels… boring!”
“What?” Drazil was ultimately startled!
“Crack!” Eratool immediately twisted Drazil’s arm around until the lower region of his posterior was facing him. With his watery Despair in hand, Eratool told him, “Time to shove Despair all the way up your smelly ass!”
“No, don’t do it! For the love of God don’t do it!” Drazil begged for his posterior to be spared the humiliation. However, Eratool was about to spear it with humiliation.
“Die!” Eratool began thrusting the sharp tip of his Despair towards Drazil’s exposed posterior. When he felt the tip enter his forbidden zone, he gave a holler of excruciating echoes.
“KYAAAAAH! YOU SPIT SUCKING SON OF A BITCH!”
Eratool smiled, “Don’t climax just yet. There are still plenty more inches to be inserted.”
“You plucking bastard!” Drazil couldn’t take another inch of Despair up his forbidden zone, yet Eratool proceeded with insertion.
“Water Lightning Blade.” Chirako came along just in time to cut apart Eratool’s Despair which consequently rescued Drazil’s forbidden aperture from getting poked any further. “Hey, are you ok?”
“Shut up! I didn’t need your help!” Drazil was utterly humiliated by what Eratool did to him. A small portion of Despair was still stuck in his forbidden zone, he hurriedly pulled it out and gave a gasp of relief. “Luckily it didn’t go too deep. It’s a good thing I have a tight gluteus maximus, otherwise, I would have been done for.”
“Damn you! Why do you keep getting in my way?” Eratool glared at Chirako intensely for he was fed up with the incessant interference that was preventing him from getting vengeance for his vulture friend, Short Stuff.
“If you are going to continue protecting that hot rubbish then you leave me no choice. You’re going to have to die first!” Eratool rushed Chirako with all he had. They were moving around the air repeatedly exchanging many heavy blows.
“Wow, that fight is so interesting.” The 3 crows who were spying on them from a safe distance became elated at the thought of allowing their competitors to tire themselves out so that they can swoop in afterwards and claim their ribbons.

The battle between Chirako and Eratool was beginning to even out. Upon getting slashed by Chirako's Water Lightning Blade another time, Eratool reacted quickly with a powerful punch to his gut and also his back. The moment Chirako smashed into the ground a huge crater was formed. Looking up, he noticed Eratool descending swiftly with his mighty Despair in hand.
Chirako managed to escape watery impalement, however, Eratool wasn’t about to ease up on him. He continued to pressure Chirako with vicious water strikes that eventually blasted him outside the deep crater.
“Crownus!” Soon as he hopped out of the crater, Chirako’s visual prowess became active again.
“Pathfinder.” The Second Hand in the centre of his eye began ticking clockwise. Immediately, he started perceiving the possible future reactions of his target.
“That’s…?” Eratool noticed the viridian glow in Chirako’s left eye and decided to finish him off instantly. He hurriedly surfaced from the crater and gave him a powerful kick which blasted him through several trees that managed to keep standing so far amid destructive exposure.
“Did that do it?” Eratool wanted to make sure that he had completely subdued Chirako, but before he could go over to where Chirako was to validate his suspicions, he realized a blazing entity approaching him from behind.
“Don’t write me off just yet, you damn vulture!” Drazil appeared out of nowhere with a huge burning tree branch in his grasp that he used to smash Eratool away.
Meanwhile, Chirako was standing idly by analysing the future timelines that his Crownus’ Second Hand could grasp.
"Huh, I finally see it…" He started forming lightning around his arms. “…The vulture’s defeat.” Chirako leapt off the collapsed tree trunk on his way to Eratool.
“Got you now, plucker!” Drazil flung forth another Ultimate Crowzengan at Eratool.
“You’re history! Lightning Bunny Hop!”
“Huh?” About to retaliate against Drazil’s incoming Crowzengan, Eratool spotted Chirako approaching him from the opposing direction in the form of a streaking blue lightning bunny. He became briefly puzzled as to who to counteract first.
“Huh, a simultaneous attack? Which one should I stop first, him…?” He looked at Drazil. “…or him?” He glared at Chirako. “This one… he’s more dangerous and cunning. The other one is just an idiotic hothead plus he’s closer so I’ll deal with him first.”
“Water Slicer!” After swatting away Drazil’s Crowzengan like a fly, Eratool turned his focus on Chirako. When his attack collided with him, the lightning bunny was swiftly chopped in half, forcing Chirako to return to his normal form. However, what Eratool perceived next startled him. Chirako’s body melted away into water droplets.
“What, a Water Clone?” Eratool was in shock.
“Krowqui Disarray!” The real Chirako appeared from underneath the trash heap directly behind Eratool with his hands clasped and 4 fingers pointing at Eratool’s spine.
“Huh, he’s behind me?” Eratool was dumbfounded. Drazil was half a metre away from smashing his head with a mini Crowzengan and Chirako already had his fingers placed on his spin. He felt a shiver of electric current run through his entire body, causing him to be stunned momentarily. Due to this, he failed to evade or even block Drazil’s explosive attack.
“Mini Crowzengan!” Drazil’s attack completely blew off Eratool’s head. Blood started spewing out of the severed aperture like crazy before his corpse shortly fell flat on the ground.
“How do you like me now bitch?” Drazil was mocking the deceased vulture, he even had the gall to crush Eratool’s nuts with his foot. “Plucking loser. You have no need for these tiny balls anymore.” The last thing he did to humiliate Eratool was to spit on his bleeding corpse.
“Huh?” Abruptly turning his head to face Chirako, Drazil caught him reaching his hand down to pick up the scattered ribbons. “Hold it right there! What the hell are you doing?”
Chirako responded calmly, “Isn’t it obvious. I’m taking my ribbons. You already have yours from when you defeated the other vulture. So these are mine.”
“The hell they are!” Drazil slapped away Chirako’s hand from interacting with the valuable ribbons. “Back off asshole! Remember that we had a deal? I was the one who delivered the finishing blow to this plucking turd.” He gestured to Eratool’s corpse.
“No…” Chirako responded seeming a bit miffed. “It was my attack that contacted him first. By my calculations, your attack reached him 1.6 seconds late.”
“What? Don’t give me that mathematical bullshit! You see that over there?” Drazil pointed at Eratool’s severed head, rather what was left of it. “I plucking destroyed his head! You can practically see his cerebral residue splattered all over the ground. Your weak ass attack didn’t do shit!”
The Lustful Melody Guild Master who was watching their argument via the monitors stated to herself, “You’re wrong. That fledgling’s attack was an intimate one. It discharged a massive influx of electrical current through the vulture’s spinal column which affected the stability of his Krowarc, causing the link between energy cores and meridian points to be temporarily severed. Basically, it placed his Krowqui Network into disarray, which resulted in temporary paralysis. This was what gave you the opportunity to succeed with your explosive attack that resulted in the vulture’s defeat.”
Overhearing Arehas’s analysis of Chirako’s technique, Tengan who was hovering by Headmaster Zegel asked, “Elder Zegel that technique isn’t an ordinary low-level technique, so how did that fledgling come by it?”
“My guess is it was passed down in his family. That crest hanging loosely from his waist feathers belongs to the famed Rincur Family. You didn’t recognize it due to its recent upgrade.”
“Huh, that powerful clan?” Tengan was startled to hear this. He began staring even more intensely at Chirako via the monitors. “No wonder I felt a chill the first time I met him…”

With seemingly limitless potential and a game-like system influencing the world, the hero sets on his journey. --AUTHOR NOTE, PLEASE READ-- I will state here my promises to you, potential reader: 1. No harem! I don't trust myself to make a harem feel natural or healthy, I never met any person who has a personality that can adapt and live in a harem for reasons that are not monetary, so I can't draw inspiration from real life. Sorry!; 2. The enemies will not be bland and illogically mean. Some may feel like that at first, but I will take great care in fleshing them out, trust me. You may end up hating some, but you won't be able to deny that they had their reasons for what they did; 3. I am using a paid (and expensive) automated editor tool, and I take longer to write because I take my time in editing the stuff. I am aiming to improve and I will not shy away from constructive criticism, nor take offense for no reason; 4. Characters will die and will suffer, some will get over the tragedies and improve, others will not be as resilient. 5. This novel has a lot of ground to cover, it is neither a short story, a manual on crafting, or the script of some action scene. There will be both time skips and oversimplifications of some actions for the sake of moving the story forward. Time skips will be more prominent in the first 30 chapters. I will describe crafting processes and fights with more detail if they are essential for the chapter; 6. If I took my time describing something, it's because it is important. I hate novels that waste time describing useless stuff. If you skim over something, the chances are that something in the future will not make sense. I am an adept of "Chekhov's gun" principle; 7. I already have 31k words on my auxiliary documents, I have a plan for the story, and I will not be making changes even if someone ends up noticing some foreshadowing and figures out what will happen. The story comes first. 8. I have a wife, a job that demands 9h every day and courses related to my job (lawyer) three days of the week, it's unlikely that I will be able to do mass releases at all. I will have a healthy amount of chapters to be able to post at least 1 chapter every day continually. Don't worry. 9. I will read all the comments. I will listen to all you have to say and will try my best to accommodate demands as long as they do not hamper the path I prepared. 10. There is an arc that spans the entire novel. Each volume will be an arc in itself while progressing a little bit of the main arc. Every arc will have one or more main antagonists. I think that's it! Thank you for reading it all. Have an awesome time reading my first novel!!
