“Take him with some of the other band of misfits to do the job. Freeze, let’s meet up after you take out this bug” Sal Maroni ordered before getting into the car with Killer Croc driving towards the warehouse.
“Spiders are arachnids though” Jacob questioned. Before trying to web up one of the wheels off of the peeling off vehicle, but the other masked vigilante continued shooting. He had problems dodging the bullets without absolute certainty from his spidey sense, but he was able to manage.
“Stop that” Jacob shot a web bullet towards the prowler, it hit the gun gluing it to his hand but the prowler ripped it out after some slight struggling. Meanwhile Freeze just sighed before shooting an ice beam towards him.
“I may not have any quarrels with you but your life will end as ordered. For Nora” Mr. Freeze sneered. Shooting a couple of shots while Jacob tried to get close. Prowler after emptying the clip, ran to meet the young hero. Prowler was the first to throw a punch but Jacob slid under the villain, pressing his hands to the ground and launching himself up kicking the prowler in the chin while also lifting him up. Jacob avoided a calculated ice beam by pushing his foot off of the prowler before grabbing the prowler with the webs pulling him into a flying knee. The hit caused him to fly back but the prowler landed awkwardly using the sturdiness of the suit to take the brunt of the damage and slow his momentum with the ground.
Prowler went back in for another exchange. Jacob to tried to avoid him but with his senses being off somehow the prowler managed to grabbed Jacob’s leg from a failed evasive flip out of the fight. Jacob was about to kick the masked villain but Mr. Freeze landed a blast to his leg.

“Can you chill out.” Jacob tried to use venom blast through his leg but the prowler tightened his grip, picking him up like a baseball bat before smashing him downwards into the solid concrete with all of his might. Jacob felt the ground break under him before the prowler threw him into a construction crane.
‘That’s gonna leave a bruise’ Jacob felt his body get frozen solid. He wanted to freak out but he was only able to do it internally as he couldn’t feel his body. Jacob quickly stopped trying to see or use any of his senses going inward to focus the best he could on trying to break out of the ice. He felt his bioelectrictity run wild. Slowly melting the ice around him, quickly cracking the ice freeing him. Jacob tried to get up but the prowler bashed Jacob’s head with a bundle of rebar denting the steel before pile driving it into his to his back which after a couple of drives a cracking sound is heard. Jacob stilled tried to get up even after the abuse.
“Let’s kill him” Mr. Freeze holds out his gun. His presses the trigger but the prowler pushes the gun down. Jacob felt adrenaline run through his body. He shot up, using a greater portion of strength than he normally would to double kicking Mr. Freeze yards back, Before attempting to leg sweep the prowler who flipped away.
“You can take a beating” The prowler jump kicked, trying to buckle his leg but Jacob dodge it and immediately spun around to hit him with a heel strike to his chin. It was easily blocked by the villain, but Jacob webbed up the prowler’s face before giving a venom punch to the liver. But the prowler remained standing, due to the exosuit’s protection.

“So much pain. Don’t talk, Okay don’t breathe” Jacob whispered as tried to do both but every moment was like a match catching on fire. He wanted to web them up but he feared that he wouldn’t be able to deal with anymore villains with his webs running low. The prowler evaded most of the webs before stuffing his hand into his pocket and throwing it on the ground, causing smoke to disperse. Jacob shot blindly towards prowler’s last location but he was suddenly next to him.
“You’re lucky I am the one fighting you Spider. Otherwise, you’d be ten feet under” The prowler dissappears as well as the smoke, leaving the weather to shroud him in dark grey clouds as the rain starts to dribble down on the area..
Jacob looks around on guard. He held that position as best he could but with no one there or around, he quickly slumped to the ground. Jacob’s legs felt like rusted chains while his body is like a warm fire keeping him awake but in excrutiating pain.
‘Argh’ Jacob spat some blood before sitting.
He looks down as the the drizzle turns into a downpour.
‘Why did I come out here? Was it to pretend like I had this all handled? Why did I lose so badly, I can’t go through this again. What about my mom, what about Aaron,’ Jacob thought repeatedly.
Having enough of the warm rain, he decided against his body’s desire to get up and sluggish held his ribs together as they started to already mend back. He walked off of the site the same way he came and soon was left out of the warehouse district opting to go home.
As he started to swing home, He stumbled on the building he was at the day before but, instead of deciding to leave afterward, he sat, trying to catch his breath.
‘Who know swinging with fractured ribs would be difficult.’ Jacob joked. He tried to get up before getting a call. He took off his mask, before hearing.
“Sir, it’s from Cindy.” Link reported.
“Yep” Jacob said
“Hey, I was wondering if you wanted to go out to this class trip with me next Saturday.” Jacob looked around before nodding.
“Where’s the trip?” Jacob asked quickly, each breath made him wince in pain.
“Wayne Enterprises. For Dr. Conner’s internship demonstrat- Hey… what?” Cindy sound like she had found something.
“Are you okay?” Jacob asked.
“Yeah, so let’s meet up I’ll send you the details later, sp-Jacob”
“Wait what?” Jacob heard the phone call end; he quickly shook his head putting his hand down and moving down.

Good Guy Necromancer
Necromancers are murderous, repulsive, utterly ungodly creatures. And then there's Jerry. Jerry is a novice necromancer who treats his undead warmly, seeks to befriend people instead of harvest their bodies, and doesn't mind cracking a skull or two when needed. He genuinely is a good guy—too bad nobody believes him. Trying to discover his place in the world, Jerry will live great adventures. He will make friends, each unique in their own way, and together, they will travel through a variety of striking environments; from a tiny village, to the land of the dead, to a jolly archipelago, to a kingdom on a beanstalk. To save a world that shuns him, Jerry must stand against a large organization of arrogant, mighty wizards. He strives to become stronger while maintaining his kindness, only to realize that, maybe, gentle hearts make the greatest necromancers. This is the story of a delightful man in a harsh world—full of warmth, action, and wise-cracking bone puns. Chapters are usually 2-3k words, and updates are 3/week: Mon, Wed, Fri. The Successor
The Immortal God Emperor is dead...yet his Successor will one day arise. The worlds had long moved on from the greatest Cultivator of all time. The things that had been achieved and the advances made in the Immortal God Emperor's absence were nothing to turn one's nose up at. And yet, something was always missing. Because Cultivators, no matter the goals they pursue, always bow to the greater power. They seek it, they covet it for themselves, and they serve it with reverence. Shan Kai Lan was born into such a world. Born to two herb farmers whose cultivation did not surpass the Foundation Realm, yet who loved their son more than anything. Kai Lan was a child blessed by the Spiritual Plain, far more gifted and more intelligent than others his age. Yet the more profound his achievements, the greater the likelihood that his happy, peaceful life would be trampled on by those who desired his potential for themselves. The question of Kai Lan's journey becomes not whether he will reach the highest peak of cultivation, but what he will be forced to do to keep his young Clan, and the happiness it provides, at peace.
