[Does the Host wish to travel to a Dimensional World?]
Thinking about his situation, Lui Wing replied, “Not yet.”
Turning away from this room, Lui Wing walked back to the storage room to see if there were any items that either the old man or the previous Host had left behind that the System collected that could help him during his travels. Lui Wing didn't know what Dimension World would go to, so he wanted some essential items to survive.
It took a bit to rummage through all the items, but he found everything he needed. Putting everything in a pile, Lui Wing took out the phone, trying to see if you could scan the items into the phone’s inventory.
Touching the screen, there were two apps; one had a bag the other had a camera icon. Pressing the camera icon, Lui Wing aimed the screen towards the pile and took a picture.
As soon as Lui Wing took the picture, the phone gave a notification that the items were downloading. Then, after a couple of seconds, the phone let out a chime, and Lui Wing checked the app with the bag icon. The screen transitioned into an inventory that showed all his listed items. Each of his items, such as bamboo water bottles, dried food, a sack, and a thin, rough blanket, took up one inventory slot each.
Putting. the phone away, Lui Wing walked back to the portal room. Once he reached his destination, Lui Wing walked into the middle of the array formation on the ground and looked up at the rift in the ceiling.
“System, I am ready to start the quest to go to a Dimensional World.”, Stated Lui Wing.
[The set place in any Dimensional World is random.]
[Preparing for travel...Please select an evolutionary beast to proceed.]
“I choose the Demonic Frost Serpent.”, Replied Lui Wing.
[The Host’s beast has been selected. Please choose a Dimensional World.]

A screen that had multiple places popped up in front of him.
Having no previous memory of his evolutionary beast serpent, Lui Wing wasn’t sure what Dimensional World would be the most suitable for his evolutionary beast. While scrolling, he found multiple dimensions with Demonic in their name, but he wasn’t sure which place would provide the most improvement for training his beast.
“System, can you find a place for me?”
[Affirmative…. Please wait.]
[Detecting evolutionary beast Mortal Rank Demonic Frost Serpent; a beast of the Demonic family. The most suitable Dimensional World has been found. Demonic Swamp Caverns. Does the Host wish to enter?
“Yes.”
[You will be given an allotted time to complete the first section of the quest.]
As soon as Lui Wing confirmed and the System finished its sentence, a surreal ray of black light flashed in front of him; looking up at the ceiling, the rift and the array formation activated. Then, with a slight fluctuation of energy within the air, tearing sound throughout the room as space formed a vertical crack in the shape of a slit.
As Lui Wing walked closer to the rift, the surrounding energy turned into a suction-like force continuously pulling at Lui Wing’s body. Unfortunately, Lui Wing didn’t fight the suction force and was entirely devoured by the rift and transported within its black hole.
The transportation process of teleporting was uncomfortable because of the dizziness that enveloped Lui Wing. Lui Wing could sense that his body was moving, but he couldn’t tell how fast or long the teleportation was. At that moment, the energy surrounding Lui Wing in the darkness constantly increased.
After a long period of dizziness and total darkness, Lui Wing saw colors swirl in the dark; he couldn’t judge time and space in the rift, so he wasn’t sure how far he had gone and if the time had changed. It felt like his body was frozen except for his consciousness that kept living. Then, finally, a bright light shone out in front of Lui Wing, encasing him.

Splash!
Lui Wing felt himself fall into the water as his body gradually hit land again. Looking at his surroundings, he was transported into a swamp forest. When Lui Wing saw his surroundings, a chime rang in his head, and a blue screen appeared in front of him.
[Ding! Quest has been started. Survive the required time]
[Required Time: 1 day: 23:59:57]
[Reward: ??]
Looking at the timer counting down, Lui wing quickly got up and looked around. The trees in this swamp were mostly decayed and gray looking, with long black moss that hung from the branches. It shocked Lui Wing because this is not what the stories about Dungeons were supposed to be; This is a world like the System said, not a tiny ancestral place.
Could it be that when the Dungeons were first placed in the universe, they were, in fact, truly a gateway to their actual world? While humanity perceived them as an entire place, it was only a small part of what it truly held.
Lui Wing summoned his Frost Serpent for extra eyes and protection because he was not sure what the horrors of this place would be. Trudging through the mud in the shallow, murky waters of the swamp, Lui Wing wanted to see if his theory was correct and could find an entrance to a dungeon.
While walking through the swamp, Lui Wing noticed the trees seemed to become more haunting and filled with giant webs. As he passed a cocoon in one of the webs, Frost Serpent actually went by the tree and slithered up next to the cocoon and used [Frost Breath] to freeze the webs so that it wouldn’t get stuck and then used Demonic breath on the strands of web holding the cocoon in place.
Once the silk cocoon landed on a small patch of muddy land, Lui Wing’s Frost Serpent quickly approached the silk bundle. Checking his phone, he opened up the inventory icon and found a hunting knife he scanned before leaving.
Taking the hunting knife out of its sheath, Lui Wing carved a slit in the cocoon's front. It took little work because of the attacks on it before. Then, pulling the two sides open with both hands, Lui Wing saw what was inside.
An old male humanoid corpse was shriveled on the inside; the man’s skin was sunken and plastered to his skeletal frame. Seeing an ancient-looking paper in one of the man’s hands, Lui Wing looked into the air and prayed to his ancestors while reaching for the paper. The man’s grip on the paper was firm; the paper wouldn’t budge. Digging his fingers under the dead man’s fingers, Lui Wing pulled until the bones broke and detached from the paper.
While Lui Wing was trying to get the paper, his Frost Serpent was slithering in the corpse’s clothing, looking for the item that attracted its attention. Unrolling the paper, Lui Wing was blowing off dust and dried skin to see the faint markings clearly.
“Holy Shit! It’s a map!” shouted Lui Wing.
Thinking of an idea, Lui Wing took out his phone to take a picture. The System gave the phone to scan items to put in inventory, but what would happen if he scanned a map?
Clicking on the camera icon, Lui Wing snapped a picture of the map. Then, the phone’s screen went black, and words popped saying “downloading”. Putting the phone to the side, Lui Wing watched his surroundings and Frost Serpent.
Frost Serpent and an orb in its mouth; before Lui Wing distinguished what it was, Frost Serpent gulped it down its throat.

RE: Souls War Apocalyse
When I and every other humans on earth have been summoned to the cursed world of Yvelmore, to serve as a front-line soldier in an impossible war against an invasion of nightmarish creatures, I knew right away that something was going to go wrong. I was right. The war? Hell, we lost it so much all the nations of the world have been destroyed and all the races have disappeared. Me? I was a veteran who survived until the end. Was I strong? Fuck yeah of course I was, except ... it was useless, I died like everybody else. The bad news? When I thought it was finally over, I woke up in the past, the moment I was summoned to the beginning of the war. Come on, seriously? Do I really have to go through all that again? What? And everything restarts every time I die? No... are you fucking kidding me? Right? Genre: Action, Adventure, Medieval Apocalypse, Times Loops, Progression, War & Fantasy, Grimdark, Magic, Horror, LitRPG (but RP). Tone: Despair at the firsts chapters (which makes sense for a story that begins with the end of the world, doesn't it?), and lots of humor and stupid situations after to lighten the tone of the story. (Oh, and the MC is NOT a psychopath, a rapist, a hypocrite, or human garbage, so sorry for those who like that, because I don't like that). Note: Expect this story to contain grammatical errors and occasional random conjugations. I am learning English, and I have made a lot of progress, but I still have some gaps. So if you're allergic to it, don't read this story, you would inevitably be disappointed.

Lone: The Wanderer [Dropped Version (includes original draft of the rewrite's first volume)]
Nine-to-five. The daily grind. Life. Painful years of school. Working as a slave for some undeserving corporate big-wig. The monotonous life of unemployment. We all experience this in one way or another, and we can all conclude one thing: it's dull. Such a fact rings true even for the fabled Lone Immortus, a powerful nine-tailed Golden Foxkin. However, what would you do if your monotony was suddenly ground to a halt and you were thrown out of your comfort zone along with a young girl forgotten by time? Perhaps you might have done things differently, been more organised, immediately died, gained control of the world in a matter of days, but this is Lone's tale, not yours. Watching two insecure people struggle to survive and find their place in an unfamiliar land just might be enjoyable to witness. Who knows? One thing's for certain: it won't be an easy path for them to tread, and what could possibly be more entertaining than watching people endure hardships and grow? I know of at least eight gods that would answer with, 'Absolutely nothing.' I wonder, after seeing this journey from start to finish, how would you answer? [Goal of 2 chapters per week, the only exceptions being announced breaks or emergencies] A/N: This story is in the middle of a rewrite, so please forgive any noticeable plot holes and wonky chapter numbers. I am working on it every day, so understanding would be greatly appreciated. The new cover art is a courtesy of the very kind and talented ssddx. This novel is a participant in The Writer's Pledge
