It blinked again. Remembering time was over, as was living time.

“What h-happened?”It said weakly. And then it saw…

Its right arm, no longer attached to its body was being held by the archangel, dripping blood, disfigured. Its legs severed from the main body, emaciated, partly incinerated, bones visible to it, while being soaked in its blood lake created by blood loss. It still felt its left arm, so it moved its neck to the left, hearing a loud crack, then watching what was left of the arm. Half of its forearm had fallen like a sticker, still tied by a muscle. Its hand had vanished from existence, probably incinerated as well. It wanted to puke, but its body wouldn’t respond anymore.

The eight-winged angel stared at it, like it was rejoicing in its suffering. More reasons to just die. But then it noticed that the angel wasn’t standing still, its halo was changing colors; blue, green, golden, purple, white, black. The glitching… it thought. The glitched world was stopping the archangel, but in the end nothing mattered. It was almost dead, if it wasn’t already. It just wished to finally die, be consumed by the glitching, restart again. Like a vanishing thought, and idea, and spark of movement happened, not by the angel but it. Its left arm felt itchy, alive.

It blinked again. It saw. It felt. “Oh, I see.” It said even weaker than last time.

Its hand, no, its forearm was helding the glitching. It wasn’t being devoured by this world, but coexisted with it. Then it shoot the glitching to the archangel. A beam of glitchiness struck the archangel, and obliterated it, with it as well.

It woke up in the white room that it called aether. However its attention wasn’t in the familiar, and somewhat friendly place, but…
