JOSEPH'S P. O. V
We walk for hours, what we only saw around was rocks and devastated mountains. It was sunset already (Night).
“Sir look over there?" I heard Seth said and I looked amusely because he good in hanky-panky things. As I turned doubtly.
“Wow" I mouthed.
(Wanna know what I saw? I will tell)
We saw a giant statue of a wild panther.
“what's that?" I asked,
“that is the Black Panther spirit statue sir" Seth said.
“Black Panther Tchalla right?" I asked,
“Yes sir" Seth replied gently
“It's beautiful" I said dryly
“well sir, you have only seen it from afar, let's go nearer sir. Wakanda kingdom most be near" Seth said wistfully climbing down from the mountain
“Wakac ... What?" I asked shrinking as I joined him climbing down from the mountain like tomb raider.
We walk for hours again before we finally saw a kingdom, we walked close and went in.
“This I guess is wakanda?" I asked looking around and wondering way everywhere was quiet.
“Yes sir" Seth answered politely.
We walked further into the kingdom (remember it's night already)
“Seth" I called
“I'm hungry, got any penny with you?" I asked
“No sir" Seth replied attentively
“What? You mean our journey if not crashed is pennyless?" I asked with wide eyes
“But sir! You are..." He was cut shorted
“Yeah I left my wallet at Nigeria" I sighed
“don't worry sir I think there is a Grape tree over there" Seth said as he walk to an unknown direction.
“This guy no Dey fear o. For person land you Dey waka anyhow" I said that to myself in Nigeria English.
I followed him and as we get there to the tree. The tree, I mean the tiny tree has only one fruit seed

“How the fück is that tiny fruit, going to be enough for the both of us?" I asked curiously
“You can have it alone sir" Seth said (Hmmm someone been gentleman)
“What about you? What? Are you just going to starve yourself?" I asked amusely
“Don't worry about me sir, I have already fed myself to the replenish before the mission impossible sir" he said.
And I stood still looking at him like a statue. I mean this guy is crazy you filled yourself before crashing my flight and he called it mission impossible.
He climbed the tiny tree and tried to cut down the orphan Grape. But he was unable to cut it down, then he applied more strength and then apply every sense he had and even borrowed some from his forefathers but still the fruit refused to fall nor cut. He came down very tired like someone who fought against thousands of soldiers. I looked at him and smile
“it's too strong sir" he said breathing heavily
“Yeah right! How can a tiny tree be stronger than a human who replenishly fed himself from the mission impossible?" I exasperated and he cringed shame.
“Let me, who is hungry to face the tiny tree okay?" I smirked as he shrugly nod tiredly.
I went to the tree. I heaved a sign of relief, did the sign of the Cross. And by the look at time, we would be around twelve in the midnight. I climbed the tree to the top and I looked at a queer direction and I saw the panther statue with it's eyes beaming red colour from a far. I ignored it and touched the fruit which immediately cut as I touched it and glowing red. I cut it down easily and surprised. All of a sudden I saw a large quantity of red light glowing to the sky. Large crowd of wakanda people gathered round with their mouth wide open. All I could hear was indistinct chatterings....

Saga of the Jewels VOLUME ONE COMPLETE
Prefer to listen to rather than read Saga of the Jewels? I'm also releasing it as a free audibook serial podcast on iTunes here! Epic YA JRPG-influenced GameLit progression ensemble-cast steampunk romance fantasy! When Ryn’s hometown is destroyed, will he be able to gather together the twelve Primeval Jewels in order to defeat the evil Emperor and save the world of Mid? A fan novelization of an amazing Final Fantasy game that doesn’t actually exist, that currently releases at least one chapter a month. Epic in that this will be very long. “It’s a marathon, not a sprint!” (-Kandaj) YA in that this should be enjoyable to~13-year-olds and upwards. Some gore, some swearing, some sex, but nothing more than PG-13. JRPG-influenced / GameLit in that it uses lots of JRPG tropes, particularly from Final Fantasy. I’ve read a lot of fan Final Fantasy novelisations and you can basically think of this as a fan novelisation of its own Final Fantasy game that doesn’t actually exist as a game... Progression in that the characters level up over time (though not with visible litrpg stat boxes). They grow in ability through training and experience, gain new skills, individually and as a party (think Chrono Trigger) and spend time discussing and stratgeising about how to defeat their opponents. Main protagonist from book three would definitely be able to defeat himself from book one! Ensemble-cast because we've got quite the roster of misfits here. The first volume is all from the main protagonist's POV, but it starts dancing between his and different POVs thereafter. Steampunk in that we’ve also got airships, steam trains, pistols and ambiguous ‘amber bars’ that function a bit like artificial lights… Romance in that there is lots of shipping here, a few love triangles, and you may be kept guessing as to who will actually end up together... Fantasy in that we’re in a vaguely pre-modern setting. We’ve got swords, magic, dragons, dungeons, monsters, all that good stuff. * "This story captures that Final Fantasy quality perfectly. Kiddy but also grim. The characters are great... Severely underrated and needs more favorites/follows. I look forward to seeing how this story will unfold." -Gilgamesh9999 "Starting at the end and jumping backwards is not a writing style seen every day. I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical at first, but you've executed a fairly crazy idea very skillfully so far. Overall, a strong start to what could be a very strong story." -RandomFF.netUser "You definitely have my interest piqued. It'll be interesting to see where the story goes... It definitely has an 'old school Final Fantasy' type feel to it, which I appreciate...Good job! I am glad you are going into more details about the story you laid out in the prologue...of course the big burning question is 'You know they lose in the the first chapter, so how will they end up winning?' That of course, is the story you're writing...so we'll see how it goes! #Following." -KyleQuicksilver (quotes are from reviews on other sites) * If you enjoy it, don’t forget to boost Saga of the Jewels on topwebfiction.com!
