《Diamond Jozu (English)》Chapter nineteen: Diamond Jozu

In the blink of an eye, the two individuals were already close to each other.
BOOM
They had hit their fists at the same time and therefore collided.
The two had taken two steps back.
José frowned as Joz was surprised inside.
Even Mark hadn't been on the same level as him in their first collision.
'No wonder he can get that far,' thought Bernard when he saw this scene. Even though José didn't have the advantage, he had hope, and he knew that if it had been in his youth, José could have beaten him quickly, but he still had hope.
José had all his strength, he wanted to beat him in one blow, yet the one who seemed to have taken the most damage was him. His hand was paralyzed for a few seconds. It terrified him inside. He was calm on the outside but was starting to panic from the inside. He just wanted to retire with some extra money on top of the pension, so facing such a strong pirate was no good.
Joz was excited to see that someone was even more potent than Mark. He had enjoyed his fight against Mark and was hoping to meet other strong people on this seas.
"Old man, you have good strength; prepare yourself for the fight. I will put all my strength into it," said Joz, smiling.
"Wait ...." José had turned quite pale. His strength was not in his brute force but his experience. Like all people who get older, courage and ambition diminish over time (Shiki, Whitebeard, Rayleigh, etc ...)
However, Joz didn't listen to him, and he punched him with the Boost.
"DAMN IT"
Seeing this, José could only grit his teeth and fight.
BOOOM BOOOM BOOM BOOOOOM
With each stroke of Joz, José weakened. He opted for another tactic and decided to dodge as much as possible and hit the vital points. But to his surprise, Joz's Devil Fruit negated all of his hits.

'Tsk'
After a long duel (5 minutes max, but when you are concentrated, you have the impression of having done 1 hour), Joz succeeded in punching (José's) chest: his body flew instantly.
"Fuck" José said, coughing up blood, his physique was old, and therefore he was not able to take such a violent blow.
"…" Joz was shocked. He thought this older man was going to be harder to beat than Mark.
It seems he hadn't done a fight in years, and his body doesn't hold that kind of fight at all.
"Y .... u...You just killed a naval commander."
Bernard's last hope was shattered. He was not a fighter and did not see José's disadvantage during this fight. Maybe if he had been young, José could have won (Not sure). But in any case, he (José) had just died in one blow (Ace is beaten in 3/5 shots for lack of resistance just like katakuri).
"Commander? He turns out to be in the Navy, that explains his strength at this age," Joz said with a frown; with this murder, the Navy was sure to pursue him very vigorously.
He was certainly not afraid of the Navy. Still, if he could not provoke them, it would be perfect for his development as José had said, "to develop discreetly."
"However, why was the commander at your house?" asked Joz
"Euuuuuuuh ...." Bernard was still shocked by the scene and was therefore speechless.
"Let it go; your relationship with him doesn't interest me. My goal is to kill you and destroy the Bena family," Joz said, waving his hand.
"NO! DON'T KILL ME, I HAVE MONEY, WOMEN, UNPRECEDENTED TREASURES .... LET ME GO, AND YOU'LL GET THEM," shouted Bernard, who was frightened. His face was pale but was still angry inside. After all, he was the head of a prominent mafia family. His family had just been destroyed during his reign by simple pirates.

Bernard thought only of saving his skin, and everything was fleeting in the face of death.
"Oh? How much do you have?" Joz asked curiously with a smile.
"I have 1.5 billion in cash in the mansion," said Bernard, gritting his teeth. Losing such an amount of money even at the cost of his life hurt his ego.
"over a billion perfect HAHAHAHA!" Joz's eyes were bright.
David and the others were delighted; they just got rich.
"Go get the money and anything of value," Joz ordered his crew members.
Watching his gold, silver, jewelry, valuables leave, Bernard felt like he had received several daggers in his heart.
This stay on this island was very enriching, and Joz went to Bernard.
"I gave you everything. Let me go."
"Hahahaha, we still need your help."
Joz had planned to kill the traffickers who had captured him, and because of them, he attacked the Bena family.
..
With Bernard's "generous help," Joz had managed to find the location of the traffickers.
According to Bernard, they are just external members of the Bena family.
These people weren't far from Joz's location: Perfect!
They took all they could and started to sail towards the site. With the speed of the Diamond Rusher, they were going to get there quickly.
Of course, these traffickers were unaware that they had been targeted and were shocked when they noticed a large ship made of diamonds arrive at the port.
They were even more shocked when they saw the boss from the boss of their branch.

Apocalypse Born
The world as we know it ends in the year 2000. Over the course of a week, billions die and the survivors are faced with a reality that no longer makes sense. Can they fight back against wizards, monsters, and robots in a world where none of the old rules seem to apply, and their only ally is a mysterious heads-up display that reads like a particularly uninterested narrator? Well, that part of the story's mostly done. Hunter, instead of being alive in the age of heroes and martyrs, bravely fighting for the future of his entire planet, is born in 2003. By the time he can walk and talk, humanity has already fought back the worst of its demons and settled into its new status quo. What's an easily bored kid supposed to do in the Midwest when there's all this magic and nothing to do with it?

Back in 2020 there were many theories on how the world would end. From the many religions apocalypses, nuclear wars that would leave the planet inhabitable, global warming doing the same, biological weapons getting out of control, viruses mutating into unstoppable diseases to the dead raising to prey on humanity, either due to a virus or just because hell filled up. Also, aliens, from the war mongering kind to the ones so advanced they didn’t see us as more than worms. And of course there was the fail proof theory that the world would end when the sun died. In a bunch of billion years give or take. Althougth some new scientist were discussing if the end would be on the take side, since when the sun started dying things would go haywire on the entire solar system and we would collide with mercury or maybe mars way before the expanding sun engulfed earth. But I digress… Now, those were the mainstream theories that the everyday Joe, who didn’t know the big secret, worried about. So, if you were to ask me which theory was correct I can tell you that I haven’t seen any little green man, at least not from another planet, and so far the sun is still shining, although it’s been only 9 years since everything went to hell, not the few billions (give or take) the scientist predicted, so that one isn’t ruled out yet. These two aside, I'd say all of them. Hey everyone, this is my first attempt at writing. I have been planning to do it for a really long time, and while this is not the one epic fantasy idea I ever wanted to write, I think it's a good one. The plan is to write an end of the world urban-fantasy series. Think a world like Dresden Files, Alex Verus, Iron druid, where magic is real but exist hidden from society meets the apocalypse. It will be written in first person in the Dresden Files style, no plans for other POV for now. As you probally alredy guessed from my style, english is not my first langague, so while google corrector helps, expect grammar errors, and I'd be gratefull for anyone to point them. I plan to write 2 to 3 chapters a week, 2000-4000 words each. Might change as I get more experience and depends on my free time. Cover image from the colections of getwallpapers.com
