《Diamond Jozu (English)》Chapter fifteen: Diamond Jozu

...
The most astonishing was the fact that this island is accessible to all. You could see merchant ships, civilians, gangs, etc ..., the rule here was to register when you disembark in the port.
Immediately after Joz and the others disembark, two members of the Bena family in black suits (suits) had come to approach them.
"Are you here to stock up?" one of the two asked.
"Yes, stock up on Berry," Joz said with a smile as his crew behind it laughed.
"Hahaha, well said, Captain."
"Hahahaha, as usual ..."
"Berry! Berry! Berry!"
After all, they all knew why Joz wanted to be there, and it wasn't for just stocking up.
Seeing the haughty look on Joz and his gang, the two had concluded that they weren't there with good intentions.
"Do you want to cause trouble?" one of them replied with a dark face. He already had his hand on his pistol, ready to draw at any moment.
But he realized, to his surprise, that he could no longer move his arm. Joz was holding his wrist and therefore preventing him from drawing.
He struggled, but to no avail; Joz's strength was too high for him.
"Who are you ?"
Although Joz has a high bounty, he was new and therefore hadn't impacted West Blue much.
CRACK
Without answering her question, Joz broke his wrist.
"AAHHHHHHH ... AAAHHHHH ...." shouted the individual who had an ashen face.
BANG
Without wasting time, his comrade shot Joz but saw to his surprise that the bullets did not affect him.
Hearing this noise, the members of the Bena family who were around arrived little by little.
Joz hit the head of the second (without diamond), which twisted his head slightly. Joz was still physically at Intermediate Level 1, so he was physically strong.

The people who had just arrived were shocked to see their comrade on the ground and in bad shape. Before they could even shoot Joz, Daz (he still has a few minor wounds from the fight against Joz) sliced them without hesitation.
"Help...."
"Nooooo ..."
With these corpses, the port area was immediately chaotic. The cries of civilians and merchants intensified the scene.
David and the rest were shocked to see Daz kill so quickly, and now they knew why Joz wanted to make Daz a part of the crew.
They had even more admiration for Joz, who seemed to know how to find talent.
"Pick up the weapons on the ground and prepare for battle. I'll be in the front line you, and you'll stay in the back," Joz told David and the rest seriously.
"Got it, captain!" answered in unison.
Joz knew that the current members of his crew were fragile. He had planned to start their training after the destruction of the Bena family. After all, they were just civilians before they were slaves.
He was planning on taking a G1 Physical Strengthening Elixir from them to speed up the process. Still, he needed to amass more points (he currently only has 75PS and 1 G1 Demon Fruit pill).
..
With this, Joz grabbed a man who appeared to work for the Bena family and asked him to direct them to their headquarters.
"Yes ... Yes sir, I'll show you ... the way," said the man who was scared to the point of getting on it. So he started running towards his HQ, and Joz and his crew followed him.
On the way, Joz tells robin to look around and watch the weakest of the crew but mainly to watch out for her.
She nodded; she knew Joz didn't need her to defend herself. After all, the diamond was one of the most robust materials along with marine granite.

Robin was amazed to hear Joz caring about her. These former bosses all preferred to see her sacrifice herself for themselves than her act for her safety.
..
Under the direction of the individual, they arrived at the residence of the Bena family.
Of course, many members of this family tried to stop them on the road, but with Joz's resistance, they could only die.
..House of the Bena family ..
In a luxurious room, the head of the Bena family was chatting with an older man.
If this older man could talk on an equal footing with the head of the Bena family, that meant he was not an ordinary person.
This older man was the commanding officer of a branch of the navy at West Blue.
Mafiosi, navy, identities that seemed incompatible become incompatible with profit; there are no eternal enemies.
"I would tell someone about the weapon. I hope the money will be ready when the exchange is made," says José (= old man).
"Hahaha, no need to be so on edge, José, it's not the first transaction anyway," exclaimed Bernard (= head of the Bena family), laughing.
If José is so serious with this transaction, the number of weapons this time was enormous. Therefore he had a better chance of being discovered.
He had decided to sell more than 20,000 firearms to the Mafia. He was going to retire soon and therefore wanted as much money as possible to live comfortably (in addition to the pension etc ...).
After all, he was in his sixties; at that age, we usually retired.
Significantly since by making exchanges with Bernard, his avarice grew; If the senior officers found out that he was selling the weapons to be used in the navy, he would undoubtedly be executed.

The Kodoku Game
In Japanese folklore, there once existed an ancient technique among alchemists for harvesting the strongest poison known to man. A poison so vicious, so horrendous, that a single drop could incapacitate an entire nation of humans, several times over. A poison so intense that a single drop could turn the tides of a war on its head. As potent as it appeared however, this poison could be harvested from the blood of a single insect alone- an insect the alchemist’s called the ‘Kodoku’. As lucrative as was attaining this poison however, the problem lied in identifying this insect- its appearance, shape and size changed from region to region and from continent to continent. Sometimes it took the appearance of a ladybug and other times a horned-beetle. In order to determine the identity of this special insect the alchemists came up with an ingenious method. They created an impregnable jar of clay out of the best sandstone they could find and placed hundreds of different insects into the same jar. The jar was made with such great mastery that it allowed no insects to escape and allowed no objects to enter. The laws of nature dictated that the insects would remain together in the jar forever. However, it turned out that as time went on, the insects’ hunger for food and power caused them to turn against each other- one insect ate another until only one remained. This sole insect contained a poison that far surpassed that of all the others and became stronger as it ate more and more insects. The alchemists at this point had succeeded in identifying the Kodoku and could extract it’s poison as long as they continued to feed it regularly. Although this folklore ends here, the actual story does not. One day, as the alchemists cheered in joy of having identified the Kodoku they so eagerly wanted, they forgot to close the lid on the very jar that was considered to be completely impregnable. This small gap was just large enough for the Kodoku inside to crawl out. Famished from not having been fed for weeks, the Kodoku ended up eating the very alchemists that nourished its growth until not even the bones remained. Yet, the Kodoku’s hunger didn’t seem to subside in the slightest. So it traveled to the next village and began eating whatever it could find there. Its poison made it unparalleled in strength and slowly but surely it began to dwindle down the population of the entire city. Yet its hunger only continued to grow. So it traveled to the next city over and ate all it could there. Very soon, the Kodoku couldn’t find any more food to eat. There was no one left to eat and no one left to spectate. So it stood there, by itself pondering what possibly was left to eat that could satiate its hunger. But there was one thing left that Kodoku realized it had never eaten. Itself.
