《Diamond Jozu (English)》Chapter ten: Diamond Jozu

...
After having carefully analyzed the advantages and disadvantages concerning Robin, Joz decided to recruit her.
He was going to recruit her but without openly revealing her identity. He did not yet have a strong crew like the Straw Hats to defend her (especially with the protagonist aura).
Other than himself, none of the other (unofficial) 'members' had the strength and determination to defend her.
The real question was whether Robin was going to accept ?!
Either way, she had nowhere to go, so he already knew the answer.
As he left his cabin, he felt that the atmosphere was calm compared to before. Logically, they had just gone the maritime territory of the kingdom of Prek for good.
"Captain!"
Seeing Joz's return, the 'crew' greeted him.
Joz nodded and said, "You can go wash and change your dirty clothes if you want."
Hearing this, the slaves were ecstatic: it had been such a long time, this foul odor.
Some had gone to change and wash, and others had preferred to rest.
Everyone accepted Joz's advice.
The slave who called himself chef had decided to go to the kitchen after changing.
"Sir, where are we going next?" asked the young navigator
"What's your name?" Joz asked without answering his question.
"My name is David, BOSS," said the navigator.
"Hmm, David, I'm going to be a pirate. Would you like to join me?"
"Yes, chief, you saved my life," David said without hesitation. He had no guarantee that he wouldn't get caught again by slave traders, so we might as well stay with Joz, who was powerful.
Especially since Joz had saved his life and, like many young people influenced by Roger, he had already thought of being a pirate.
After all, it's not the Golden Age of piracy for nothing. It was the children who Roger had most influenced; that was why the more the years passed, the more young pirates there were.

"No need to call me chef; you can call me captain."
"No problem, captain," said David enthusiastically.
Robin watched this scene without batting an eyelid: 'Pirate.' After all, the stolen ship was not that big, so many people could hear them.
The slaves who had heard this had all rushed and wanted to embark with Joz as a Pirate.
"Very well!" Joz said with a big smile.
"Thank you! Captain!" roared the crew excitedly.
"I'll give you one last chance to give up pirate life when we get to the next island," Joz said. He didn't know if these people wanted to become pirates out of envy or not to be isolated or killed.
"No problem, captain!"
..
"By the way, captain, what's the name of our crew?" David asked
"The name? I already have it in mind," Joz said with a smile.
Everyone was interested in the name; after all, they would have to wear it during their pirate life.
"The name of the crew will be .... Diamond Crew! We will be the Diamond Crew in the future!" Joz said aloud while transforming part of his body into Diamond. He wanted to wear the name 'Diamond King' in the future.
[Ding! The pirate mission has been completed. You get G1 demonic fruit pill and 5 HP]
[devil fruit pill G1: pill improving the development of devil fruit]
Just as the announcement of the crew name, the voice of the system echoed in his head.
The crew members celebrated the name!
"Diamond Crew! Diamond Crew! Diamond Crew!"
"From now on, we are the Diamond Crew."
With these exclamations, the resting slaves awoke, and when they heard the news, they all decided to join the crew.
With that, The Diamond Pirates had 21 members without taking Joz into account.

Joz lacked framework, and he didn't intend to make a crew as elitist as Shanks or Luffy (even if Luffy had an independent fleet).
He turned to Robin.
Joz wanted to make Robin a part of his crew. She had a paramecia-type fruit and was enormously talented; not to make it a framework would be a loss. In a fight, his entire team was no more substantial than her.
Robin felt Joz's gaze fall on her; she understood straight away what Joz wanted and said, "Captain, is there something wrong?"
Joz smiles when he hears this: "HAHAHA, well, I just got a crew, but there is still no frame. I think you would do the trick."
Robin thought for a moment and accepted the offer.
The crew was surprised to learn that the first executive would be a young woman.
"Captain, who is this woman?" David asked. He had noticed that Joz seemed to know this woman who was not yet with them in the arena.
"Nico Robin, bonus at 79 million Berry," explained Joz; he did not intend to create taboos in his crew.
"79 MILLION BERRY ???"
The eyes of the crew members widened. Such a young woman had such a great bonus.
Unbelievable
"Nico ... Nico .... Robin AH! I remember that was the girl nicknamed the demon ..." one crew member seemed better informed than the rest and suddenly seemed to remember a few things. He immediately covered his mouth for fear of offending the young woman with the terrible reputation: Especially since she had become one of the executives of the crew.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
